Art and stuff...

Bye.

Two Thousand Club
Just thought I'd put some art that I've redone from other pictures and have created originally using my own imagination. Hope it isn't too bad, it's not that great but here you go.

I like how you are able to produce these pieces of art through varied methods such as pen+ink and graphite. Shows how handy you are with artistic tools.

  1. The dragon has to be my favorite of them all due to surplus of amount detail bleeding into the work. The orientation of the scales and lighting are well placed. I also can't get over the mystical look of the eye. It makes it seem like a creature of mystery that demands respect for its grace rather then power.
  2. In this piece you choose a variety of patterns to have the eyes revel in. If you look at the larger picture you will see the wolf, but your method of doing so is whimsical. I feel that is the word for the variation in this eyes candy. You can definitely look at it for a bit to get the details. The only thing I see wrong in it would be that that the spiral lines (such as the breath the wolf breathes out) are not properly curved, BUT that is nitpicking. I mention this because this is a piece that people look at the details in. At least I do. I can certainty say you chose a healthy amount of interesting patterns in the work.
  3. This one again has a lot of detail locked into it. I can see the care you placed into the structures enveloping the fingers. The thing that draws me into it is the mystery. Why is there a hand coming from the ground? What are the structures enveloping the fingers symbolic of? I love works that make me question. The fingers have a lot of detail so as a result it makes the rest seem pale in its glory. I can see you added what I presume to be the natural wrinkles in the hand. I think since structures enveloping the fingers have shading in them that signifies that the whole piece should have shading since there is a hypothetical light source causing shadows.
  4. This one, like the dragon, bleeds details. I think each line stroke shows off the wolf's fur coat in a lovely fashion. You feel you could pet it. Next would be how it is anatomically well constructed. The limbs, torso, and head all seemed well placed and sized. The very position of the wolf signifies power as you can imagine it howling towards the moon. The moon itself is nicely shaped and I love how it is shaded. Very nice considering only the use of a pen.
  5. Ah the infamous human portrait. I can see this is a picture of Maleficent in all her glory. The things about human portraits is the need to master symmetry and orientation. Something I fail at. Point being humans are ridiculously good at identifying human faces (as expected). Sometimes in things that are not human. Drawing a line down the middle of this I notice firstly that the left eye is lower down and larger then its right neighbor. Secondly, I notice that the cheek bones don't match (the right being properly shaped). Beyond those things I think you captured a nice shape for the head. That is tough to do. The nose and lips and are also nicely symmetrical. Next is your mastery at shading. I think the transgression from light to dark are very smooth and pleasant. There is nothing I can not help but enjoy about it respectively. I think keeping things lined up horizontally is the only issue here due to it being a portrait. Portraits are incredibly hard to master. Some people take a lifetime to master the human likeness on paper. Still, gotta love Maleficent!

Hmm from looking at all this art I give the post a "More!" rating firstly, followed by "Creative" if it let me.

Hello again. I see that more art is available to enjoy.

6.

This sharpie wolf is the first time I have seen your use of colors. I have to say I like the choices made. The intense red of the wolf is a nice parallel to the blue that cascades behind it. I see you know the importance of

cool

and

hot

colors. I also like the thick sharp lines that were used for the wolf while you used light curvaceous lines for the structures around the wolf, I presume them to be the sky. Either way its draws another nice parallel. Very nice indeed.

7.

Out of all the new artworks I really like this one, even with a Finn one around. There is an intense feeling conveyed in the character's eyes and facial expression. The gun barrel looming at us makes me wonder what happened. There is a lot of speculation that can be made, but I'm sure that she will pull the trigger from directness in her eyes. Beyond that I love the shading you used in it and I think the face is symmetrically balanced as I notice nothing directly off from first glance, which is good. When I first saw it I was hit with curiosity. It truly conveys an intense scene.

8.

Now I love the show adventure time and I love seeing it drawn in Anime style. So, this already has two big pluses on its side. In terms of shading it is excellent as usual. I like the facial expression he has since little seems to truly damper Finn's mood into a state of odd calmness (

Bar getting dumped by Bubblegum

). The other thing that catches my eye is the golden sheen on his sword. It is a nice touch. The only thing that is off is the little Jake's eye brows.

9.

Now when I think Neko I think cute, cuddly, and chibi. Instead your piece invokes beauty, mystery, and serenity. I like that the hair style and eyelashes due to how each strand seems to be drawn in. It gives it a sense of realism that lends itself to why I felt this piece conveyed beauty. My favorite touch would be the tangled whiskers, they are adorable. I can only say that the blush marks are off balance, but that isn't something I didn't noticed directly at first. Interestingly I the thought of Alice and Wonderland from looking at this.

Now if you posted this in an extended post you would get another "More" from me.

You always have great feedback! @TheMadIceCreamMan
