Realistic or Modern Arranged Marriage Roleplay- Open

Hi! I am interested in starting up an arranged marriage role play. I would prefer for this to be fairly literate, at least two sizeable paragraphs per reply! More is welcome, of course.

How I envision this working, is we get characters submitted and they are matched up by myself or anyone else helping me run (Which is welcome, this site has changed since I was last here!) People are made aware of their pairings in the first post and interact from there. Everyone will be in the same location/town.
This would be set in a realistic setting, but historical circa 1800's. Not true to history, for obvious reasons.

The characters are welcome to be varied in race, gender and nationality but all are currently living in English Society. I'm happy for varied social standings too, but nothing of the royal nature.

It is time for the debut of the newest of-age children of the most elite families in town! As such, a lavish three week ball is held. Here, matches are to be negotiated, announced and married. Almost everyone in town will be attending!

If you are interested, please let me know. We will need even numbers for this! All sexualities welcome

Edit: Wow, we have a lot of people! We still need a few people to post their characters but we need at least one more straight male! I might double up if it is not even but we shall see

haha, well then maybe I'll make mine a very out-of-era charactertype, as in a lady that's very sure of herself and not said to be outspoken and hint at her very open lesbian-ness instead of a more quiet refined bi one
