Futuristic ARK: Survival of the Fittest (Closed)

Anna laughed and gave Meatloaf scritches until Occisor and Thunder running around started to unnerve the moschops, "Hey, if you guys don't behave you're going in a box!", she warned the raptors, which did not particularly listen in any sense.

The moschops, being afraid of the raptors, ran behind Anna, making scared coos as she ran. Roan laughed, "That poor thing."

"One chunky moschops and five excited raptors," Anna shook her head. She whistled and pointed back at the raptors' spot where they'd been lying down until attention had been gained. "You five haven't been neglected! Go on! Bedtime!" The raptors weren't very well trained, though, so they didn't listen until Anna waved a torch around. "See, fire." Anna crossed her arms smugly as the raptors exited the premises to go huddle up back at their sleeping area.

"I think that's a cue for bedtime, don't you?", Anna asked.

"I think so." Vera agreed. Though as the girls made their way into their tent, the moschops followed, waddling and sticking by Anna's side.

"Determined little critter, isn't she?" Anna rolled her eyes, "Probably scared of the raptors. Alright, Meatloaf, but you stay off of the bed, okay?" She knew the moschops couldn't understand English, she wasn't even sure how she knew she was speaking English, but it helped her process what she was ordering to bark orders.

The moschops seemed to just follow Anna around, earning a giggle from Vera, "I dont think she gets it."

"I think we're gonna have to train our dinos once the wall is up," Anna sighed as she laid down atop the sleeping bag, "At least Meatloaf is quieter than the parasaurs."

Meatloaf waited for Anna to lay down before happily curling up with her and making Vera laugh, "So much for off the bed."

Anna groaned, but couldn't move the fat creature off of her. "I guess this is my life now."

Anna sighed and rolled over, trying to get comfortable, "Whatever, goodnight, Vera."

"Good night." Vera replied as she settled into bed, "Good night, Meatloaf."

Meatload make a slight grumbling sound as she liked her lips, nuzzling Anna's side as she did.

Morning came, Anna and Vera's implants waking them up. Anna found herself waking up with Meatloaf across her back. Luckily, the sleeping bag provided enough cushioning for Anna to be compressed into without breaking her back under the weight of the reptile. She still wasn't happy, though, and couldn't get out from under the moschops.

Vera groaned as she woke, "Sweet."

She put a point into her speed and a point into her attack damage before glancing at Anna and snickering.

"Get me out!", Anna demanded, floundering like a beached coelacanth under the oblivious moschops.

Vera giggled and whistled, waking the moschops, who happily waddled to her, "You're so cute."

Anna squeaked and wheezed as Meatloaf stepped on and over her to accomplish that, getting up and defensive very quickly to make sure she wasn't stuck under that thing again, "She sleeps outside from now on," Anna decided. Jack knocked on the door, "Time to get up!"

Vera opened the door, letting the man be greeted by the beast, who seemed to plow tight through him to get outside.

Jack did a flip and made a thud on the ground from the charging beast's exit. "Ow..."

"That thing was cute at first but I don't like her anymore," Anna shook her head.

"Aw, Anna she's just big and dumb. She's cuddly," Vera defended. The dino in question had run off to eat some of the foliage nearby.

"She hurt my back!", Anna complained.

"And my knees," jack added as he got up, "Whatever, time to get up, we've got stuff to do today." He looked back at the men's hut, "ROAN!"

"I'M UP!" Roan yelled back. Vera watched as Meatloaf played in the grass, "She's cute. "

Roan grumbled as he stepped outside, shielding his eyes from the light, "Got it."

"So, whats the plans for today? How much fiber do we need?" Vera asked.

"If I did the math right," jack said as he passed around cooked meat and mashed berries for breakfast, "A little over a thousand. It stacks to three-hundred, so four stacks of the stuff would more than suffice."

"I think we can manage that before lunch," Anna commented, "If we've got a dino that gathers it efficiently." She glanced at Meatloaf eating a bush, "But we need a pen for the moschops, I'm gonna wake up one day with a spinal injury if that thing isn't contained."
