Futuristic ARK: Survival of the Fittest (Closed)

Anna grumbled for a moment, and tried to stand up on her leg, and fell back onto the chair before she could even get her gum leg off the table supporting it. "Yes," she crossed her arms and looked away, not liking being dependent on anyone.

"I can help you if you want," Vera offered. Roan thought for a moment, "You could hold onto someone while they climb up."

"I'll see if I can build a ramp so someone can carry her," Jack opened his engrams to see about making some thatch structures for that end.

Anna pointed at Roan, "He can carry me. He'd be able to fit through the hatch with me on his back."

Roan nodded, "Sure, then Jack won't have to worry about using resources. Right Jack?"

"Hmm? Yeah sure," Jack closed his implant, "I guess you better work on getting her up there, then."

Roan nodded, "Let's get you up there then."

He stood, ready to carry her.

Anna reached up to take Roan's hand, hobbling on her good leg to climb onto Roan's back to be carried, increasing the weight Roan's implant perceived by almost double.

Roan grunted a bit, his movement speed going down by almost half, "Ready?"

"Mm-hm!", Anna nodded as she put her arms around Roan's shoulders. "Let's go." Jack positioned him close to the bottom of the ladder to catch one or both of them if they fell.

Roan made his way to the ladder and began to climb, being sure not to fall or drop Anna.

Anna hugged Roan tighter once he got off the ground and she couldn't use his thighs to support her lower half, clinging to Roan's upper body like her life depended on it, squeezing her eyes shut until they were on the living floor again. She seemed pretty scared of heights she couldn't control.

Once to the top, Roan moved Anna to carry her bridal style.

"Oh!", Anna freaked out a bit when she was moved over Roan's shoulder to be laying in his arms. "That was smooth," she giggled as she snuggled into Roan's shoulder. The man was warm.

"I was worried I'd drop you, honestly," Roan chuckled as he continued to her room, "Hope i didn't hurt your leg more."

Roan grinned, taking her into ther room, "I'll keep that skill locked away in hopes to continue to be impressive, but I dont think its going to apply to other skills."

Roan chuckled, shaking his head, "Not that I know of but if I discover any, you'll be the first to know. "

"That sounds like fun," Anna agreed as she was put down and hopped the couple steps to her bed. "Thank you, Roan." She nodded at the man.

"Do you need anything?" Roan asked, "Food, whater, more meat for your leg?"

Roan nodded, "I'll bring you food when its done. Try to rest."

"Hey, Roan!", Jack shouted from downstairs, "Is the bird supposed to be on fire?" They'd never actually cooked an animal by suspending it over a flame before, just using their implants to move the meat and wood into the fire's inventory and taking the cooked meat and charcoal out, so they didn't realize you had to gut and pluck the bird first.

Roan turned, leaving to go back down to Jack, "Probably not, no."
