Why is Hathark the realm for the fairies whilst Faerun holds the mythical beasts? Surely, since 'Fae' (General term for fairy creatures) is in the name, Faerun should be inhabited by fairies? In my opinion, Hathark sounds too tough for the fairies realm, who are usually delicate and peaceful. Apologies if this offends you, it's merely a question.


Edit: Thank you for accepting my character, I gave her more moves than normal as I wanted to explain her basic powers as well, so I was worried whether you would accept it. Good to see I didn't have to edit my post just yet.

Okay, @animefordaysXD you have the powers of fire and water correct? My fairy only has the power of water, therefore I expect that your fairy's powers are less than mine, as their power is spread throughout two elements. I just find it unfair if they're as strong as my fairy in water.

Not really fire magic, just blood magic and if I can fire magic as well. But fire magic is less so then my blood magic so the strength should be around the same I suppose. Though if I also have fire power then yes, you character is stronger then mine.

You don't have to remove your water element, but if that makes things easier for you, then yes. It would remove my complaint from existence.

No offense taken! It is a valid question! well, a little backstory for the RP -


There was a war between the different realms and races that led to the destruction of the human world. Even the normally peaceful and nature-loving Fae had to arm up in the face of the impending doom. The ancestors were fearsome warriors that slew many an enemy on the battlefield. Their hearts hardened, becoming more world-weary than ever before. After the wars ended, they had grew tired of being associated with being "weak" and "peaceful". They wanted to keep up their reputations as fearsome warriors. So, during the founding of the city of Arivale, they decided on a more fearsome name to go along with their new outlook on life. Hence the tough-sounding name of "Hathark". The council then decided to side with them, adopting a more misleading name for the realm of dragons and other mythical winged creatures, in case outsiders to the city thought to challenge their leadership. Hence the none-too-imposing name of "Faerun", which is usually associated with the fairy-folk, but in this case is not.


Of course, throughout the years of peace that followed, the fae-folk adopted once more their usual peace-loving ways. But the name stuck as a reminder of a past that they would soon rather forget. I hope this makes more sense!

If you have some paper, a pencil (or pen, I'm a big pen artist .3.) you can totally draw. It doesn't have to be in a specific field though, it can be abstract design, patterns, landscape drawings, anything.
