Opinion Are there any other roleplayers that are parents?

I have an almost six month old daughter. It can be very difficult to balance parenting with hobbies, especially a hobby that takes time and thought - such as writing. I was wondering if any other roleplayers experience this struggle, and what you do to balance being there for your child and being able to do what you love to do.

My daughter just turned one years old yesterday. I definitely feel you on the struggle. It can get a little overwhelming sometimes but all you can do is push through it for now. I just try to persue my hobbies when she sleeps/naps, which doesn't always work out but what can you do?

That's usually what I do - wait till she's napping. I definitely get to enjoy myself for a bit, but I always feel like I'm on a time schedule. You're right - there's not much that can be done about it, but it's nice to know you're not alone.

Absolutely! I'm here for you whenever you want to vent to another mama. I know it can be frustrating having to put your hobbies in a baby-led schedule, but it gets easier. Eventually you adjust and then, hey, they're not babies anymore, right? Lol

Right? Lol! I definitely don't want her to grow up too fast, but when she does that free time will be nice! Thank you for that. It really is nice to talk, even if it'll only help to relieve some stress temporarily. It's still worth venting every now and then!
