At first, the area in the South remained untouched. However over the years people had ventured through and discovered the area was rich with cultivation minerals and gradually the South became to prosper once again. Now the desert is now called Arang, named after one of the princess' of the perished kingdoms who at birth was said to bring a great misfortune which seemed to have foreshadowed the Oblivion of the South.
With a new kingdom and many large sects on the rise, there has been many motives to fully unite the South and create one large empire rivaling other large powers within the Continent. Sensing this, the other major powers in the continent are beginning to feel unrest with the South's sudden rise to power, as it would destroy the balance they had created years before.
So, when the reappearance of an ancient palace springs up near the borders of Arang many from all over gathered in order to discover all it's treasures and solve all of it's mysterious.
