Sounds fair, Rum isn't normally violent but if she wasn't dangling by a window, injured, starved and didnt have a gun pointed between the eyes she probably would have tried something.

Go with distilled. If you did not understand btw, alcohol is not just one chemical, it is a group of chemicals. And Ethanol is the one that is used for disinfecting. Pure ethanol is not gonna just pop up like that so I think distilled is much more realistic.
