Maria stands outside, her boots slightly covered in dust. She had just managed to flip someone over, and was now heavily breathing. Well, she never expected this small guy to be so hard to beat.

She dusts off her pants since they got a bit dirtied in the spar. She looks up at the sky, guessing the time was about 11 a.m. She was so tired, though. She only managed to sleep a couple of hours yesterday, but usually she would sleep like a bear during the winter season. Unsure of what to do next, she looks around for someone to talk to.

The Survey Corp was only a mile a way from the walled city which they called home. There wasn't a titan in sight or so they thought. One was coming from directly behind the group. Him and his squad were assigned to taking out the titans that approached the main group so that's what they did. The five on there mounts slowed down to allow the creature to catch up. Kadin was in fact slowing down the most his was the first one to fight the beasts, it was always like this from day one. The thing was now three steps from the Caucasian male with his dark purple hair, grey eyes, and the standard Survey Corps uniform. His horse bolted forward as it was trained to do. The boy himself sat backwards on the horse facing the titan. Launching the cords from the gear and onto the side of titan's face . He was ripped out of the saddle and realeseing the gas from his canisters he flew right by the right eye. He slashed at it leaving it blind on the right. His squad rushed the titan...cutting the nape of the neck. Rushing back to his horse. The then ran after the lead group.

Stroking the mane of his ash grey horse with it's blue eyes that he named "Ash" for an obvious reason had it's master on it's back. He was scanning the crowd that awaited the Survey Corps return. The group only had seven casualties on this expedition. The wooden cart carrying the remains of the dead men and women was just behind him. He was waiting for the ones that lost there family members to the titans to approached the cart filled with there dead. Losing interest in the famlies that never came up to claim there dead. Then speeding his horse up so he could catch up to his lieutenant. He smacked the girl on the back while his moving at a small speed "Race you to HQ or whatever its called" He yelled this at his golden haired lieutenant as he bolted off from her.

(Funny thing is....this took me forever to write....No why you stupid pop ads....)

Haruka had just finished sparring with another, and was now leaning against a nearby wall to rest. She stretched her legs, trying to relieve the cramps that had formed during the tough handling, and her ribs ached slightly due to a hit there, but otherwise she was fine. Her thoughts wandered to the Survey Corps, wondering how they were handling things.

She shook the thought out of her head. She looked up, heaving a sigh as she straightened her body. Well, it was time to train more.

Caius was riding in the patrol that was sent out earlier that day, he wasn't too experienced with fighting titans. The only true experience he's had was firing the cannons at the ghastly things, but this was his first time that he was actually going to fight one today. Caius smiles and shivers with excitement in his saddle,

"Ooh! I can't wait to fight one! I wonder what it's like..." Caius says excitedly, to which his fellow comrades respond with an annoyed groan,

"
Caius, you're going to get a reality check real quick if you keep expecting to survive against these things." One of the more prissier comrades says to him. Caius laughed and sticks his tongue out at the pessimistic soldier,

"
And you're going to be a terrible person if you have that outlook on life." Caius replies with a slight chuckle. The comrade just groans and continues to ride along at a slow pace. This moment was cut short when the comrade, and his horse, are sent flying through the air from a kick from a titan that comes out of nowhere,

"
EVASIVE MANEUVERS!" The captain screams. Caius suddenly shoots the hooks from his gear and propels himself forward with the gas. Several of his other comrades do the same but the rest were frozen in fear from the sudden titan appearance, Caius propels himself over to a nearby tree to survey the area before he actually attacks the titan. It doesn't take him long to figure out a plan of action, the rest of the troops were scrambling around and trying to find a safe vantage point just like Caius did. Caius then executes his plan, he shoots a hook over to a tree that was just past the titan and then shoots another hook onto the side of the titan's face; this was bad timing for as he goes to swing, the titan raises its hand and brings it down onto Caius' cables. This causes him to be suddenly jerked down towards the ground, Caius then panics as the cables are snapped and he is sent crashing down onto the ground.

Several hours later

The squad returns to the town, quite some time after Kadin's squad. The numbers of men and women had dwindled down to only a couple, Caius was thankfully alive, but badly injured. The wagon was probably the fullest that it has been in several days. Caius was bandaged across one side of his head and that was about the extent of what they could do at the moment out in the field, he is gripping his side and limping just fast enough to stay caught up with the squad that enters the town.

(@The Akolite I don't know where you assumed I was...but I'm just gonna post for what I have for Asami... No offense... I just don't like people randomly involving my characters without asking me first...)

||Earlier||

Asami sighed softly to herself as the squadron made its way back towards the city. Her unit was one of three scouting units that had been dispatched from the city. The group had been out in the wilds for nearly a week now and she was beginning to get sore from the amount of time she was spending in the saddle. The extended expedition outside of the walls was not unusual for her unit and it was of a basic recon nature as there had been talks of attempts to reclaim more land from the Titans to build a proper research base. The mission had taken the squadron to a small fort about two days ride from the city. Their job had been to examine the fort and the areas around it and evaluate their use. The fort itself was old and sturdy, however the area was for one reason or the other busily trafficked by Titans at night.

The rattle of wheels drew her attention to the carts that rode just ahead of her, carrying the bodies of the dead and wounded. During the one day and night they had spent evaluating the fort and the surrounding area they had clashed with stray groups of Titans. They had lost their corporal in the fighting and a few other good men as well. Most of the casualties however had been newbies fresh out of training that had frozen or been to hasty, losing their lives before they had even been soldiers for that long. Thinking about it irritated her; the sooner they made it back to the city the sooner the wounded could be tended to and the dead buried.

As she considered this she was aware of a rustle from the trees just ahead. The air was still and something just felt off. The. She felt it, a faint but distinct tremor rising up from the ground. Her body reacted before her mind had time to. Digging her heels into her mount, a black stallion named Knight, she spurred the horse into a gallop. One hand tightly gripping the reigns she rode hard to the forefront of the group, her raven hair whipping about her. Without stopping she began barking orders her clear yet sweet voice distinct.

"Get the carts back... Those with experience ride with me... New blood stay back and guard the carriages... We're going to clear a path forward so everyone be prepared to ride like hell..."

The order was understood and soon the carriages fell back, the remaining trainees surrounding it. The more experienced soldiers and officers, a group of five, joining her gallop forward. Before they even hit the upcoming line of trees Asami deployed her hooks, hitting the gas as she shot from her horses back. Just as her hooks found purchase and she propelled herself forward a Titan burst from the woods. Having studied enough about the Titans to be able to track their movement by scent and sound before sight she had aimed her launch so that as the Titan entered the area she shot across and behind it. Drawing her swords she twisted in the air a bit and brought them across the nape of the Titan's neck, blood spraying the air and splattering on her cloak before hissing and fading away.

As she landed lightly on the tree to which she had been attached more Titans began to appear from the trees before them, some simply knocking them aside. Glancing about she could see that a few of the others that had come with her were having trouble, either being outmaneuvered or overcome by fear. Asami gritted her teeth, watching as one unfortunate soul found himself snatched from the air and eaten. She had to get her unit back to the city. They were all running out of energy and worse out of gas. Out here being low on either made the possibility of death that much closer.

However Asami prided herself with being able to pull her team through no matter the situation and minimize the casualties while doing so. Asami took a deep breath her eyes closing momentarily before she reopened them, growling under her breath. Pushing of the tree she began fairly dancing through the air, leaping from tree to tree, relying only on her hooks and gas when the jumps were too far for her to make on her own. Her blades flashed and blood sprayed through the air. She would get them through this. She had to.

||Now||

The gates opened, the sound of hoof beats and the clatter of wheels filling the narrow city street. At the head of the group Asami rode slowly, her white shirt spattered with blood and her Survey Corps cloak tattered and torn. Her golden eyes seemed tired and her expression was one of barely restrained irritation. She had been riding hard for the past six hours, only slowing to eliminate and straggling Titans, or check on the state of the wounded. Out of the five who had led the charge to clear a path for the carts, two had died, one was seriously wounded, and the other two had non-life threatening injuries. She had also lost a few newbies from the rear. As the carts of the dead rumbled to a stop so that the bodies could be claimed Asami continues to ride on, slowing we horse to a slow walk.

"Goddess I need a shower..."

Caius walked through the city with the remaining squad of the first SC patrol sent out, it was a shame that Caius' horse died shortly after he lept from it, for now he had nothing to ride on. Caius was passing by a couple of the houses before he notices one of the girls who he had met the other day, her name was... Haruka? Yeah, that's what it was. Caius leaves the group of SC officers and walks over to the girl who has just stood up,

"H-Hey! Haruka!" He says as he limps over to talk to her.

Haruka turned her head--someone had called to her...or was it just her imagination? Then she caught sight of a limping male, guessing he was the one who called her name. And he didn't seem to be in the best shape.

She walked over to him, eyes narrowing in concern. "I hope you got those checked," she said, though it was said in an awkward fashion. She was happy that he had regarded her, but she was still worried about his condition. "It'd be bad if you were out because of them."

Rin was lying on a roof of a house, he was in one of the villages in the outskirts of Wall Maria, although he knew that the rest of the Corps had returned from the Scout, he decided to have a rest.

He always asked the squad leader first before he did this so he wouldn't get into trouble, although trouble was the main reason he was out here.

Rin began to spot Titans wandering in the distance, many people feared these ferocious fearsome creatures, but Rin viewd them as big baby's, a little like himself.

Rin climbed down of the roof and started walking towards one of the bigger Titans he stood in front of it and whistled untill it's attention was driven to him. He smiled at the Titan

"Hey there big guy, the names Rin."

Then Flash the Titan fell to the floor with a large gash in the back of its neck.

Not many SurveyCorps members would be insane enough to attack Titans on open ground but this was one member that didn't need to worry whatever the terrain was.

Rin was make ing his way back to the walls when he saw an unusual amount of straggler Titans, he had used hardly any gas of blades on this Scouting mission, well he hardly ever does.

He was just going to ignore them and report it back to the Lieutenant of his squad, but that was untill their attention was drawn to him,

Rin was a bit confused, he was unmounted and he was making little noise as possible, but yet the group of about 5-6 Titans started to charge at him like a pair of toddlers running for a toy.

Flash Two of the six Titans fell, after this Rin ran, he didn't want to fight these Titans, not here atleast.

Although he didn't want to admit to himself that it would not only be irresponsible but it could potentially put him in danger.

Rin laughed at that thought.

Rin had the bad habit of not being able to just run away, and even when he did he would always come back.

So Rin turned back to the four remaining Titans and Flash another two Titans fell to the floor.

Rin was now standing on a Titans head, he jumped down and sliced at the back of the Titans neck.

Not forgetting the Titan behind him. He did a half twist in the air and swung round the other Titan with ease and took him out aswell.

He had just defeated 6 Titans fairly easily, this would be a story to brag about.

--------------------------------------------

Rin returned to wall Maria later, although he was not sure what time it was, he was horrible at telling the time.

He made his way back to command via the rooftops. His favourite place.

Klaus read through the long list of notes the commander had written him. His brain hurt, but the quicker he finished this, the sooner he could sleep. He skidded his eyes across the page, like waves across the ocean and stamped everything that needed his signature mindlessly. He hated working, but soon he'd retire, when his pension was big enough at least. Hell, maybe Haruka would help her old man for once, he could really use the assistance. But that was very unlikely. She always had hated big ol' Klaus and he could never figure out why, perhaps it was because of the lack of a mother. She and Lucy would've gotten along perfectly, it was a shame she had died so early...

Finally, after a 'long' days of work, he was finished. The pages were stacked like pancakes and everything was organized to his level of perfection. Which wasn't much really. He felt a quick feeling of relief and began to head out of his office and onto the streets, though he might as well check on his daughter at the survey corps.

Though when he saw her, she was with another guy. The father side of him wanted to jump in and beat the living shit out of the guy, but truth be told, he was much too tired to do anything. Instead he just casually walked passed them, not wincing at the fact.

Asami frowned, pacing her office a stack of papers in hand. She had showered and changed into a fresh uniform before reporting back to HQ. The moment she stepped into her office she remembered exactly why it was that she preferred being in the field. Her desk was a clutter of loose papers and files and on top of that she still had a report to file. Of course for all her complaining she had completed the task in little over two hours. Now she was simply studying the field research reports that she had received.

Her expression was one of worried agitation. It seemed as though more and more squads were reporting run ins with groups of Titan stragglers and closer to the Walls than normal. The prospect troubled her. She had been studying Titans for a while, a study that she had been able to further in the military. Through her primary interest was tracking and anatomy she had recently began to take more of an interest in her mothers work, studying their movement and grouping patterns. The gathering and grouping was unusual.

Grabbing her jacket she slid it on before gathering the reports and her own field notes. Heading out of her office she decided to see if she could locate any of the other reasearch members. Though officially she wasn't counted among their number many of them had known her mother and respected her; eventually they came to respect her as well, realizing she had a good measure of her mothers intellect. Sighing she continued to read as she walked, reaching up to pull the ribbon that held her hair up into a ponytail out.

Caius winces as he shifts his weight onto a different foot, he has a large bruise on the side of his torso but that would heal with time,

"Yeah, I got it checked out, it isn't too ba-" Caius was stopped by a chill running up his spine, as if more harm was about to befall him. He suddenly turns around to see nothing, relief washes over him as he turn back around,

"
Anyways, I have been wanting to talk to you more lately. How have things been with the Survey Corps?" He asks with a new-found smile.

(Yeah...I fixed it....)

His horse galloped through out the city carrying him as it did so. The creature wouldn't stop in till it was tolled to stop. Many of the men and women ran out of the way, cursing as they did so. He looked back and of course the lieutenant didn't chase after him. He was in no way offended by this why would he be...

He arrived at the HQ a marvelous place really...He enjoyed the place really...It was a breath taking...The castle....Its a castle for goodness. He loved castles. He rushed his horse to the castle's stables. He put his horse inside the assigned stall for his horse. He jumped off the horse, he tied up his horse and walked off to the library of the castle. He grabbed his favorite book from the wall and read it for the 13th time

Rin was sitting atop of HQ, he had just returned, before heading up to the roof, he had notified the commander of the large numbers of straggler Titans closer to the wall than usual.

Rin was always taken aback by the view from atop of the castle, he leaned back and lay on the floor with his arms crossed behind his head, acting as a pillow.

Before heading down he sang himself a little song.

My tears are drying, my tears are drying

Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you

My tears are drying, my tears are drying

Your beauty and kindness

Made tears clear my blindness

While I'm worth my room on this earth

I will be with you

While the Chief, puts Sunshine On Leith

I'll thank him for his work

And your birth and my birth.

(OOC since the walls are basically the same do they have the same names or are they different?

Haruka watched Caius, observing his every movement as if she saw him for the first time. "You've been wanting to talk...to me?" she echoed, wondering what he ate that morning to make him want to talk to her. "Are you sure it's me you're talking about?"

I'm usually the last person anyone wants to talk to
.

"Or maybe it's because you're injured too severely," Haruka guessed. "I'll take you to get checked more thoroughly, but the medic might be too busy right now..." She paused, realizing that Caius had asked a question. "Ah, I've been training recently--I don't want to go out of the walls yet, or be near real titans until I can kill them efficiently."

@Stew

(Just a quick OOC post,

I realise already that my character is far to OP, i will continue this for a little longer untill there is an opportunity for something to happen, I.e a slip up, I'm planning on the character getting distracted or even just make a mistake.

He will most of the time be on foot but he will now use a mount called Rival for Survey Corps missions,

I'm sorry if my previous posts annoyed anyone, I will try my best to improve in the future.)
