Assiah


Assiah is the material world in which humans live. Demons can pass into this world by possessing anything that exists within it. It is the ultimate goal of Satan, the ruler of Gehenna, to make Assiah his own. Specially-trained humans in the world of Assiah can exorcise Demons back to Gehenna through various methods. Any kind of contact between the two worlds is normally impossible, save for demons who live in Assiah by possessing objects.


Gehenna


Gehenna is the world in which demons live. Satan is the god of demons and the ruler of Gehenna. Currently, not much is known about Gehenna, as it has not yet been seen. It has been stated that there is no material present in Gehenna. It is said that the only direct way to the demon world is through the Gehenna Gate which only Satan can open.


Mash?


Mash?, or temptaint, refers to wounds or illnesses that are inflicted by a demon. Once a person sustains a Mash?, they become able to see demons for the rest of their life. As such, it is a rite that all prospective Exorcists must go through, if they had not done so incidentally prior to becoming an Exorcist.

MAIN LOCATIONS


True Cross Academy


The True Cross Academy is a place where students are trained to become Exorcists. It is controlled by the True Cross Order, and Mephisto Pheles is the Chairman. True Cross Academy lies within True Cross Campus Town in Tokyo. It works as a normal school, but also contains a “cram school” for Exorcists. The cram school offers a range of different courses, and is only accessible with a magical key.


The Forest


The Forest seems to lie behind the gigantic True Cross Academy. It is used by the Exorcist Cram School first years during their summer vacation. The forest contains lots of Demons which are active at night, making it a perfect location for mission training. The Demons inside this forest are mostly low-class Demons that can be easily defeated by Exwire but there are some high-class Demons that also live in this forest.
