Anyone Want to Join?

So I was thinking of a 1×1 roleplay where in the country of 'Albey' magic is considered a very useful and common tool in the peoples everyday lives. In Albey, most of the magic is elemental. Like Fire, Water, Earth etc. But one of the most uncommon magic types is Ice. For some reason, not alot of people are able to master it. Now, the only way to achieve this magic type is if it is passed down by family line. The truth is, a hundred years back there was a great war involving tons of Ice Users. Short story, they were all eliminated.


Now, academies all over Albey mentor teenagers to master their magic ability. Before you are put into the academy, they pair you up with someone who has similiar results as you in a test they call the 'Summoning.' They usually try to pair you up with the opposite sex, just to make these more interesting.

Well, I was also thinking about Ice Users are quite rare and people think they're dangerous. One of the reasons they got killed- because no one could trust them even though they were clearly innocent for any crime people pinned on them.


Also, before going to the academy you usually have a 'Master' and you're the apprentice. At this point you don't know what you're magic type is but they help you with studies and weapon training. So I was thinking the roleplay wouls start off where you and your master were entering the city where the academy was.

What are all the types of magic is it just fire ice water earth or could there be shifting ,and healing, ect.

Fire, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Ice, Water, Metal too
