Anyone have an opening?

I joined a while ago, but just got my act together enough to post recently. I'm also terrified of Making a Bad Impression. I played Exalted a couple years ago, loved the setting, but the group fell apart and I never got another together, plus any online attempts ended in failure.


So, I read a few of the threads recruiting and it seems like they're filling up fast. I always seem to miss the day that the "ST looking to run a ____ game" is posted, so I thought I might make a preemptive strike here and advertise myself for the next upcoming game. (Is that okay?)


Even though I'm not a total noob, it really has been a while, so I'm kinda nervous about stepping into a land of the Seasoned Veteran Exalted Players. You know I'm reading the newbie forum like a mofo with the PDF on the other monitor. I would ideally like to start with a Solar and move from there.

I LOVE running games but atm I don't feel comfortable running Exalted, since uh, it's been years since I even played as a player. Maybe someday soon, I pick things up fast. I do however, feel pretty comfortable running nWoD (particularly non-core ones, such Geist, Changeling, Promethean and of course plain/not-so-plain mortals). Hit me up if anyone needs someone for that, too.

So, since lower than this you can't fall, just post your concepts in Sarondinian's or Sherwood's game, which should be kinda maybe still open.


If not, be patient for a month or two, new games always (albeit slowly) pop up and you will end up quickly in more games than you can handle.


Oh, and if you do something wrong, you will be savagely beaten senseless.

Don't let xarvh put you off to the site. All are welcome here. That being said, I am running two different games right now. The first is a Dragon Blooded game being held in the western isles. There is a wedding about to take place between a Dynast and the crown prince to the island nation, and there are several different factions with their own political angle from this, and hijinks ensue.


The second game is not Exalted, but if you are interested in getting into a PbP game with a good story, you may want to consider my Robotech game. I currently have two players in it that know very little about the system, so I'm focusing more on the story elements rather than the game crunch. So, if you have absolutely no clue about Robotech or the Palladium system, you won't be alone. I made up the characters for the game so far, and I can do up a third in no time, if you would be interested.

I just realized I never responded to this! I'm not scared or put off or anything, I figured out it was sarcasm, definitely 100% before everyone told me. >_> The dragon-blooded game sounds like fun, in particular. Also, Chaka and I have been talking about a nWoD game which will probably turn out to be changeling. I'm okay. I secretly have a history of posting in the most noobishly wrong way to every single rp site I've ever joined, so I am always terrified at first.
