INTRODUCTION

so i've been seriously craving a fandom rp based around tokyo ghoul, but (as was pointed out by an acquaintance) a full-on group rp wouldn't really work. as in everyone would want to be a super ss~ rated superhalfghoul rinkaku wotsit. can't blame them tbh, kaneki > kosaka!!


it could work as a 1x1 (or 1x2?) though - tg is basically slice of life in the ghoul world, but with a lot more edge. soo, uuhhhhh, anyone want to do one? i'll structure this thing like an ordinary interest check for simplicity's sake.

MECHANICS

alright, i'll admit i haven't completely thought out a powerful storyline or opening scenario, but i have some ideas.


oh. there's a spoiler for something in the :re manga below so if you haven't read that yet then rip don't read that idea


so the ideas i've got don't take place in japan (i'm not risking my status as a respectable weeaboo lmao), only involve OCs and go something like this:


1] there's a new ghoul organisation on the rise somewhere and shit happens


2] the player's character joins the ccg and shows aptitude for the quinx surgery, but the doctor completely fucks up the process and it ends up turning into a full-on ghoulification like how it was with kaneki


3] main character wants to be a ghoul investigator but got kicked out of the ccg and is now making an independent movement against ghouls and shit happens


4] main character is a ghoul who makes friends with an unassuming rookie investigator and has to keep it a secret or else rip their feels


so... if anyone likes any of these ideas and can teach me how in the hell 1x1 rps work (as i said in the notes, i've never done one before) then we can totally do it!
