So uhm... I had this Idea for a Doctor Who themed RP. But.. I'm not sure how to work it out. Any Ideas? Thank you!

Oh so am I DX Maybe we could do something with the current Doctor and then you could set up a sign up. Some one can be a companion (OC or a canon character) And then other people could make up a villain and what not. I don't know ;_;
 
Interesting...I don't know much about Dr Who stuff (I've only seen season 1 and a bit of 2, plus the Angel episodes. Coz who doesn't think the Angels are awesome?), but I wouldn't mind RPing as maybe a villian or a side-character-that-I-don't-mind-getting-killed-off. I might even be able to dream up some kind of bizzare plot. But anyway, if this goes ahead, let me know.

Haha, I'm lazy too. I just wish I could find one that doesn't have a lot of sign ups and it's already started :P
 
I often have a Dr. Who themed roleplay rattling within the farthest outreaches of my cerebral cortex.


When the Dr. Who universe started, it is an introductions/beginnings themed roleplay, learning about the Doctor, the Master, and all other Timelords. Why hasn't anyone? I at least haven't seen one, to go in depth with thousands of timelords running all about, being all majestic and whatnot.

Either before, or during, seeing as how after, there were only seldom few left. To see the world in its prospering time, would be an amazing creative roleplay.

I like the idea of before the time war better than during it because it means we can see more of the doctors lighter side or maybe starting before the war and going into the time war to see the changes in his feelings and the general mood of the time lords as a whole
 
Yeah, I agree with you jasmino. If it was during the time war, I think we would see the Doctor's darker side, rather than his lighter side, which is something that we don't see.
 
It would be nice to do a full roleplay with three time elements.


Before- Each and every timelord is peaceful, and happy, collaborating with each other.


During- During the time war, time lords are destroyed, left and right, save for the doctor, master, and a save few.


After- Those who remain thereafter are seldom, and stay within a small circle. The doctor escapes upon his prized Tardis due to sheer fright, and the rest of the timelords, are stray on the massive rock they are. Master finds a way to get out, the others are left to rebuild...
 
So you're saying that some timelords survived after the time war? I believe their sun exploded causing their extinction but we could say a few also escaped, but maybe not using time travel. Obviously unbeknownst to the doctor which would add a fourth present part where the doctor finds the timelords who escaped or visa versa.
 
Oh, that does sound interesting with the three elements. And it would be a longer plot, which I like ^_^  
But, I thought that they were stuck in a time lock. So that they couldn't go anywhere and do any damage.
 
If we did want to do this it'd be pretty long but well worth it. Maybe the last part they could've kind of re-established a form of civilisation and have a new planet with 100 or so timelords living on it (we would obviously only be a few). Or they could just be a small group of 5 or 6 who travel from place to place instead of settling and they eventually bump into each other on thier individual travels.
 
People can always find their way out, especially time lords, you know? Maybe their that sneaky, that they find a way to break it.

that's true but the doctor escaped so it is possible that a few more could have also escaped
