Mmkay, now to the subject at hand...


I'm wondering if anyone here plays MMOs??


I love MMOs, but after that "ooo this is new and shiny" feeling wears off I get incredibly bored because I'm always playing alone, and I have shitty lucky with in-game guilds. I either get into a guild were ppl only talk to their friends and never respond to people they don't know or who are new to the guild, OR I'll get into a guild that's dead all the time. The GM and few members in it are nice, but they're rarely on or dead-silent when they are on....so the boredom persist for me. So it would be really nice to find active ppl to play with here! ^.^





ATM my main MMOs are TERA, WoW, and BNS, but I'd be interested in maybe trying more out! But I'm a graphics freak sooooo, they have to look nice and have decent fighting abilities/animations....like TERA, WoW, BNS, AOC, Defiance, and etc. xD


I'm about to lose my WoW sub, and can't afford to re-sub, but I do plan to play my lvl 20 twinks in Battlegrounds still after my sub is out, so if anybody is into doing that with me that would be awsomesauce! =D


So if you dig MMOs, and aren't some elitist who goes batshit cray cray over one loss and has forgotten how to have FUN in MMOs, respond here and lemme know!! ^.^

Would recommend Guild Wars 2. 60$ one time fee when I got it a few years ago. It's still amazing and it just as good, if not better, then WoW.

Heya! I spent a good chunk of my life on the MMO, Runescape and I don't recommend it xD . Afterwards, I've tried out Rift and Archeage. Didn't like em too much either. If I had to pick a favorite playstyle in MMOs, it would be high DPS mages and a tad bit of melee hybrid with mage if the game allows.


I've also played Eve Online which is a very involved political, economic and warfare sci-fi MMO. Eh.. Way too much time put into this one too.

I love Tera's battle system, but the game kinda got boring for me due to lack of friends and the missions.


I kinda went back to Mabinogi and Phantasy Star Online 2 for a while. Ever heard of Black Desert Online? That game looks very promising.

I've been a WoW player forever. (Always on RP servers, of course!) I think at this point I have tested out nearly every MMO out there. =P


I have to have an RP base in an MMO which can sometimes be a bit difficult depending on the game. There are definitely some that excell over others!

Rift was the game I use to play when WoW had an extended maintenance....but I didn't like the feel of it and switched to Defiance! xD​

I've looked into Eve Online a bit and would love to try it out, but I can't afford to atm, and something tells me that 30-day trial would be a horrible tease! I might try it out though anyways....do you know if the 30-day trial has any restrictions? Or is it just like having the full game?

Yup! I wanted to get in the Korean Beta for Black Desert Online....

I've heard they have changed it pretty drastically though from what it was originally promised to be, but I'm still excited for it. Mostly because of that character creation....omg! *drools* It's so gorgeous, and a lot like using a CG program!!!!! *happy dance*

Eve Online's trial is actually pretty good. There are some restrictions but your first time around playing the game you'll pretty much never reach them. Eve Online's learning curve is steeper than a cliff but it's so worth getting into.

Ehh, the trial part sounds good but the learning curve part sounds like a bummer.


Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those people who wish MMO's were super easy for new players, I just hate that alone and confused feeling.....haha. It was blelgh enough starting out new, by myself, on WoW and Tera. The forum community on both games were a lot of help though...sooooo, I might try Eve Online's trial xD

TERA is a fun and gorgeous game, I just get bored since Idk anyone in-game and my guild isn't that helpful at all....>_<

Sounds good! I'd be up for some PvP sometime, long as you're not a hacker ( xD ). As a matter of fact, I've been playing the starter edition since forever, got several lvl 20s here and there. Hit me up sometime, we could play

Haha no, I'm not a WoW hacker or exploiter....it's not my thing. Even when this one talent exploit was super popular and well known towards the end of MoP, I refused to use it. I hate doing stuff like that. I LOVE winning, but only with lvl appropriate abilities/talents, not something I got via an exploit or hack-job. xD

Played WoW for a while, main toons were a Warlock and a Shaman. Lockstar and Shamwich. Horde 'til the day I die.


Went really heavy into the PvP element of the game, I was an Arena god on my server... until WotLK came out and made PvP suck.


Moved on to TERA for a bit. Played the golem race, tried a few of the classes before I settled for Lancer. There's just something


absolutely hilarious about slapping people with a giant, phallic rod of metal four times as tall as you are. And surprisingly, for a tank,


they were actually really good at PvP too. Eventually, though, my entire friendbase left, and so did I.


At that point I sort of left the MMO genre to pursue my one true love: MOBAs. Everyone knows how wonderful the community is,


and how every match is a crystal clear demonstration of your skill as an individual player and as a member of a fully functional team.
