We all know that everyone wants to do some sort of fantasy rp with crazy monsters, magic, and more. In this case, yes, there is more than likely some interesting monsters and yes there is magic in this world. However, this is going to go in a different way than you expect. In this rp you have just a simple race: Humanity. No beastmen, no fairies, no elves. I mentioned magic, yes, however it's not going to come in the same way as it would normally would to us as the writers. NPCs will have that simple willy nilly stuff of different magics that are just the basics that if trained enough could be cool. Though not cool enough because lets face it, us as the writers are OP.

Here's a few details here; Map is a fresh map. Organic as could be. I will have a legend built once the main thread is up but the basics are here. This is our world that we will be playing with and we will be starting all the way on the northeast side of the map in the Noniel Empire. Every Kingdom/Dynasty/etc is different vastly in culture, people, and appearances. Again, more will be shown later once there's some interest going on. The maps will be subject to change with more clear legends and more and will be updated when edited.

Now the basics of the rp is that: Opposites Attract.

What I mean by this is that this rp is "partner-based" so you will have a partner based on a list of presets I'll have set up. No, it does not need to be romantic. It can be platonic, siblings, lovers, rivals, etc. Any type of partnership that you would enjoy the most. Partners are also allowed to mingle with others but only their TRUE counterpart would be able to activate their powers and use them. Now that you know that this rp is partner based, there's more to it. In this rp, those partners are opposites. For example, one is brave while the other is a coward, but when together they can be very powerful (This is a crucial key element here). More than just the average magic user. These partners are called: The Mogul. Apart they are just ordinary humans, but together through Physical, Mental, or Verbal, they can activate their powers to either cause chaos, or even be Heros. After all, not all Heroes wear capes.

The Story:

Many people get magic, some study it and manage to unlock the power within them. Though, in this case, the Mogul are a lot more special as there is more to it than just being born with magic or learning magic from scratch. The key element was finding their direct counterpart to their own personality, one that made them balanced and equal. Many years ago the Mogul were far more popular and abundant, but due to that there were severe crimes, catastrophic events, and more. Yes, there were some that tried to be Heroes and prevent such events from happening but it could only hold up so much with the power every pair held. Eventually all of the Kingdoms got together to agree that these people should be exterminated and any future ones that popped up would follow along with them in their extinction. Of course this did end in a war between the Mogul and the Government which also flattened towns and cities. It couldn't be helped that many were pulled into the war with no place to escape.

The Government made it very clear after everything had been rebuilt and the war had been ended: Any Mogul spotted should be reported immediately for execution to prevent a repeat of the war for a second time. It didn't matter if they were children, adults, etc. Anyone who housed them with knowing very well that they are to be reported either got jail time, or suffered the same fate that the Mogul did. No one was safe for housing them, protecting them, and more. There had even been a special facility created to keep the Mogul they capture from being within range of eachother. Doing soundproof rooms for the Verbals, solid rooms with no windows for the Mental, and seperation for the physical. If there isn't a room available for those who speak or see, they get blindfolded or gagged as extra precaution. Their records get ran then burned before executing them.

Physical = Physical touch in any form (Holding hands, embrace, etc)
Mental = Locking eyes, head nods, etc (Similar to reading minds but without the mind reading. Can be explained later)
Verbal = Safe words, triggers, etc.


To clear up the partnerships, here's a simple list of what could be a few of the potential listed pairs:
Shy + Bold
Happy + Sad
Hot headed + Cool Headed
Angry + Calm

The list goes on. The main plot at this point is overthrowing the government but it's not that simple as technology has advanced forward and there are more things that can kill you. Your starting point will be in a cell. But dont worry, you wont be in there for long.

Noniel Empire
(No-kneel) - East - Teal
Noniel is similar to that of England, in culture and all. However, Noniel was the main reason why Mogul were to be executed. They hated the Mogul even before the war. Which is why they're even named the Mogul. With that said, Mogul actually means a person with great power. Now while it is a positive name, the name is still used in a negative way and to degrade those who are more fortunate to have a special connection with one person. To give a bit more information; No one knows this, but the ruler himself is a Mogul and he had killed his counterpart to avoid being caught and executed after making the suggestion to set up extermination. The King is selfish enough to keep his power and execute innocent people for his own gain. It doesn't take a genius to realize this government is corrupt.

Habia Kingdom (Ha-Bee-Ah) - East - Light Green - Neighbor to Noniel
Habia is a peaceful kingdom and usually tries to remain out of large conflict. They're fairly accepting but of course with Noniel's influence, they do have civilians who hate or even dislike the Mogul. Despite the risks, some may try to house them or hide them away and try to at least let them have some kind of life instead of running for the hills. You could say this place would be quite the safe haven, though that could change with the influence of the east and their people coming through and spreading word.

Floramante (Flora-mon-teh) - Southeast - Purple
Floramante is similar to Italy and their main capital is by the coast where they do lots of trading, cooking, and more. They are known for their unique dishes, drinks, and skills in trade. They care more about their food than what you look or sound like. While this is the case, again it doesnt stop bad word from coming through about the Mogul. Forests are lush, mountains are mountains. Basically you'd come here if you want a good meal and drink. They provide goods made from their land and natorious for their good quality.

The Broken Fields - South - Red
The Broken Fields are exactly what they are: Broken. Criminals, Vigilantes, Mafia, you name it live here. This land has trouble all over it and there was nothing that the other kingdoms could do but just block off their boarders to them. It's easy to get in but hard to get out. You only come here if one: You want to die, or two: You're looking to get a hit on someone. That's if you can get that person through the boarders with high walls and high security. Dont worry, they always find a way to beat the system.

Sheola ( She-o-lah) - Neighboring Hill canna Shallows - Yellow
Sheola is the smallest of them all, smooshed between the Highlands, Hillcana, and even Broken fields. Now while they are small, they do try their best to keep their boarder secure from the Broken Fields to prevent them from flooding into their land. Sheola is farmland that provides goods to trade with the other kingdoms. Despite other nations having their own land to farm, Sheola has good land to farm off of that is very fruitful. Though the people there are hit or miss and you can find the Mogul thrown straight into the slammer.

Hillcanna Shallows (Hill-can-na) - Southwest - Green
Hillcana is also another fortunate location to have some land in another location with some access to goods that only one other kingdom has access to. With unique herbs and more. This kingdom is known for its large land and tropical landscape, perfect for vacationing. The most of the people there are abnormally friendly there. Though they do fear the Mogul after what happened during the war. They fear that their wonderful land would be damaged once again. They do try to report any suspicious activity. So be wary in this land as a Mogul.

The Everlasting Highlands - Middle of the map - Black
The Highlands are known for the people of the mining world. Providing rocks, gems, stones, etc for themselves and distributing it among the other kingdoms in trade. These people are fun, crack some jokes, etc. They dont care who enters their cities as long as no trouble is caused. Welcomed with open arms. Any surviving Mogul usually would find peace here, as long as the wrong people didn't find them. They feel murdering people based on their abilities is horrible, but there's only so much they could do. They try to turn a blind eye as long as nothing is stirred.

Republic of Visenburg - Middle of map - Blue
Visenburg is more like Germany to give an idea. While they do have large land, they have plenty of forests and mountains to travel through. This land is known to be more of a place for camping, being more isolated from the world, etc. With 5 cities in the land, the countryside is where its most safest. The cities are patrolled with law enforcement searching for the Mogul. This place would be risky to travel through when not knowing what you're going to be up against.

Sazzora Dynasty (Saz-zora) - North West - Pink
As you can tell, this kingdom is labeled underneath a Dynasty. This kingdom is more Asian-based and has a lot of the culture in their buildings, food and more. They're more elegant-like people and while yes there is a working class, you can tell the difference between the classes of upper, middle and lower. Though they do seem to care for their people no matter what class they are. However they are a little bit more strict with who enters their land as they do find Moguls dangerous and would like to keep them away. They would not hesitate to hand the Mogul back over to the Execution Facilities if it means their people are safe from the destruction that they caused in the past. They provide elegant clothing and silk. They also have some access to part of a location that has yet to be inhabited and thus has unique items to sell.

Yamor Kingodom ( Ya-more) - North - Orange
Yamor is more on the Nordic side, falling more in tune with the Vikings. The people there are not only bold but they are also very confident in their abilities to assist with war or lending a hand with building. They have plenty of forests which allow them to mass produce supplies for building wooden structures and furniture. While there are other different kinds of Kingdoms out there with unique ideas, they still like the old fashioned way. They're very chill people and like to have big feasts and guests. The Mogul to them...Well... They really don't care at all.
