“I see.”
Kazuki sighed under his breath before taking a moment to close his eyes in order to contain his anger. To be honest, he reaaally expected that this would happen, that the mystery prankster will never admit who they were and why they did the prank which is precisely why, Kazuki decided to give them all a punishment.
Opening his eyes, he watched as two more other people, specifically, Keito and Korbot, enter the scene.
“Now, since neither one of you old residents won’t admit the truth, Sweeney, Keito, Chelsea, Korbot, and probably Akuro, too, you guys won’t get any dinner for three days. I don’t care if you go and steal food behind my back, since I’m going to throw all of the food inside the fridge right now. Well, maybe donate them to the needy since it’s against Chelsea’s principles to waste food, right?” He said with a closed-eyed smile. “Oh, the ‘dinner ban’ starts today, by the way.”
Turning to the new brats, Kazuki said, his smile remaining, “Now, don’t worry about it, you five. For today and the next two days, we’re going to have dinner at the restaurants around the city. Since you guys were the victims, I’m going to give you a little bit of pardon.”
“However, both the newbies and the old residents will all clean the yard. No exceptions. Don’t ask me why and complain about it, it’s in the house rules, after all. Don’t remember this house rule? Allow me to refresh your minds again.”
‘Rule # 2: One for all, all for one.’
If one succeeds in a trial, all will celebrate and take part in their victory. However, if one commits a sin, all will be punished and will share their sins together.
“If you got all of that, I’d like you to start cleaning now.”
Kazuki said before leaving the room, walking towards the kitchen while cracking his neck side to side. To be honest, from the reactions of the delinquents earlier, he knew more or less who was the culprit by now. It was really disappointing that despite living here for over a year, those guys were reverting back to their old self where in fact, they were all harmless children. Oh well, what you reap is what you sow.
As he got the ingredients for the supposed dinner tonight, Kazuki realized that he didn’t have stiff neck anymore.
