Backstory;
For thousands of years, normal humans have been unaware of nodes of magic that had been left over from creation. Shapeshifters, gods and goddesses, curses and even magic itself.
There are two main type of shifters that have been idenified, only one of which is considered common. The werewolf; divided into large packs throughout the world and usually lead by an Alpha pair.
The second of which was numerous until a sudden decline in birthrate was observed in the 1600's. Rumors were that they had long since crumbled to time, unable to hide themselves in an ever increasingly aware world of humans.
Other Shapeshifters have been observed, but never come to the attention of the world, preferring to stay hidden in their own little pockets of the world

Several plots can come of this some are listed below.
-Dragon discovered by werewolf, only to discover the mysterious girl is more than she appears.
- Two dragons who had grown up together are pushed into a marriage to help prolong the draconic bloodline. The girl is supposed to be the next Dragon Queen..but her family has hidden a secret from everyone..except the man who was to become her husband. She was rendered deaf in a childhood accident in which he was heavily involes (if not the cause of). He was chosen to help her navigate the ins and outs of court without allowing anyone to realize her weakness.
