Alright, we should kick things off with some plotting!


Where should we go?


What should we do?


Where should the obligatory orc ambush take place?


Is someone in the group secretly evil?


Do the group members really KNOW one another, or are they just acquaintances?


What strange and unnatural creatures will we roast over a campfire during our perilous travels?


... and Orikanyo, I'mma need a character if you hope to join the fray.

I'm about to put up my first post - just getting to The Starting Point mainly.


The group might know each other, but probably as acquaintances. Although I would suggest that relationships be based on a few factors:
• If someone's trained or in possession of skills similar to another character, they'd probably know each other at least a little. (For example, Warren, Juniper and Lyle are all magic-users. They might recognise/know each other as they are of classes under the same umbrella.)


• The character's visibility in town - if they are outside a lot, or in public a lot, people might recognise them. (For example, Melody is a barmaid, so she might be known and know others. Alexandra is a dancer so might appear in public for shows and might be talked about. However, Lull is a servant in one house, so he probably isn't widely recognised.)


• The character's appearance - some characters might look extreme and unforgettable in some way, so others might recognise them. (Lull, for example, hides his face with a skull mask, which is unusual. Grov's overall appearance is unusual so he might be recognised. Warren's spikes and fur will be pretty unforgettable too. Tesla is less extreme more odd, and he might get recognised just because he doesn't look like a 'he'.)
• The character's personality - would they want to be seen? Are they outgoing or introverted? (For example, Lyle is mute and seems to hide himself often, so he might not be recognisable under the hood.)

Hmm, very good points. We also have to consider characters' pasts, as some characters aren't from town, but rather arrived recently. I feel like one of the characters who is well known should be the one who knows everyone, and kind of brought the group together. That/those people would then fall into the go-betweens and peace keepers.

I'm also open to taking bets on whether or not a con man can outrun a hermaphrodite with a broom, if that helps.


Odds depend on how good a con-man he is, as well as the size and relative weight of the broom.

I'd certainly vote for Tesla rather than Lull. He's in much better shape and he's younger.


Thought I'd recommend Tesla always run and not hide because Lull would be able to find him.
