An Unconventional Adventure [Inactive]

Phoenix, seeing that Alexandra and Ireth are busy, feels it's a safe call to start the fire herself. She quickly blows a flame into the twigs and watches the fire grow. Best to reserve supplies anyway, she thinks.

Ireth returns to the fire to see it already crackling to life. "Ha! Had you told me a moment ago you could do that little bird you'd have saved me from huntin' thought my bag." He lightly clasps Phoenix's shoulder. "Great work little bird."

Alexandra misses the whole thing, but instead she's napping. But she naps in a weird way, she always has her hand by her sword just in case someone was to attack her.

Ireth grins wide. "Tis not a problem little bird." He begins, letting go of her shoulder. "Now, would you like to help me cook us some dinner?"

Ireth grins at Phoenix's enthusiasm. "Well," he begins as he undid the buckle of his own bags, not the satchel Alexandra had provided of plain leather, but the three small ones he wore slung around. "I was thinking a stew," he began pulling various cooking instruments from one of the satchels including a small copper pot and wooden bowls. He stopped pulling objects from the pot when he came upon a plank of wood. "So we'll have to cut vegetables."

He opened another of the bags and drew out a variety of vegetables tied in bundles of twine. "Can I trust ya to not cut off one o' your fingers?" He asked, placing a few little bunches of vegetables on the wooden cutting board and holding it out for Phoenix.

Alexandra feels something next to her, she grabs her sword and sits up. Turns out its a rabbit, she sighs and rubs her temples. She's probably nerves about he whole dragon thing.

Phoenix takes the board and vegetables happily. She begins chopping carefully when she sees Alexandra waking. She notices her sudden tension. "Y-You okay?"

Ireth watches Phoenix chop vegetables for a moment before turning to his own work in making the rest of the stew. He glances up at Alexandra for a moment when she wakes before turning back to his work.

Alexandra nods, "Yeah, I'm fine. Its just a habit I gained over the years." She stands up and walks closer to them. "Anything I can do?"

"We've got the cooking under control." Ireth began, looking up from the pot again. "If you wouldn't mind, maybe a story of your adventures or how you came to be a knight while we wait for the stew to cook."

"Sure," she sits down and thinks. "Okay, this was the time where my men and I went on a quest to rescue a duke. Since I was still climbing the ranks they still didn't fully respect me. And one day on our journey a band of bandits attacked us. While we were fighting I got separated from the group. When I finally came back I found all of them naked, gagged and tied up together with a sign on their foreheads saying 'We got robbed by the Bandit Queen'. I never laughed so hard in my entire laugh and you should have seen how red their faces were, it was priceless! I eventually untied them, but I had to go to town to get them clothes, but for treating me so badly before I got them all the shortest shorts and trousers I could find. They were so angry at me. When we finally saved the duke you should have seen how mortified he looked when he saw my men. And when he asked what happened none of them dared to tell him. Knowing that they had enough humiliation I didn't tell him. But when we came back to the castle the king asked me what happened and he laughed just as hard as I did"

Phoenix laughs lightly. As she nears finishing chopping, her hand slips, creating a small cut on her forefinger. "Ah!" A crimson drop runs down her finger and hand.

Ireth chuckles at Alexandra's story but his laughter is cut short by Phoenix's yelp of pain. He is at her side in an instant and moves the cutting board and knife away before taking Phoenix's cut hand in his own to examine it.

"It is not to deep thankfully." Ireth begins, realeasing Phoenix's hand to get bandages from one of his bags. "We shall just have to keep the wound clean."

Alexandra chuckles, but quickly snaps back when she hears Phoenix's yelp. She's runs to her side as quickly as she can. She looks at Ireth, "I'll go get some water" she gets up and grabs her pouch of water.

"Good," she stays next to her, not really minding being next to her. "Do you have any stories Ireth?" She asked.
