An Unconventional Adventure [Inactive]

Alexandra looks to her side and sees a bird sitting on the building, "That bird, but straight through the heart"
 
Ireth nods and draws his bow, pausing for a moment to close one eye and double check his aim. Then his arrow goes flying and strikes the bird. It gives a dying squawk before falling from the rooftop. Ireth returns his bow to its place on his back.


"Lets go find that bird," he says and begins walking, turning his head over his shoulder to shout to Phoenix. "You can come to if you want lass!"
 
Alexandra follows Ireth. She wonders if he really did kill the bird with a bow in its heart.

And he had. The elf knelt to lift the dead bird by the shaft of the arrow.


"Through the lungs into the heart. What do you say about that Ms. Knight?"
 
"Ah..." she almost steps forward but thinks better of herself. She ducks back behind the corner and sighs. She can't kill a dragon, especially with competition like that. She pushes her hair out of her face and groans. There goes her opportunity.
 
Ireth turns at the sound to see Phoenix back away around the corner.


"If ya wanna come to lass we ain't gonna stop ya!"
 
Alexandra, looks at Ireth and then at the direction he's speaking at, "You can come, but you better not slow me down"

Alexandra nods at her, "As do I. Its nice to meet you Phoenix, same goes to you Ireth."

Ireth shakes Phoenix's hand and offers her a small smile. "The pleasure is mine." He releases Phoenix's hand and looks to Alexandra. "Shall we make preparations to depart then?"
 
Alexandra nods, "Yes, I was planning on leaving right now but it looks like we need more supplies. I'll send word to my men at the castle to bring supplies as two horses. Both of you meet me here at midday,"
 
Ireth grins. "I will no need a horse. For," He sweeps the crow off his shoulder and it gives a little caw in indignation before shape-shifting in a sizable stag deer. "I already have a mount."
 
Alexandra nods, "Very well then," she turns to Phoenix, "Do you wish for a horse or would you like to ride with me?"

Phoenix watches in wonder as the stag materializes. She turns to Alexandra before looking down again, blushing at the offer. "W-Well..." She quickly thinks over the several different responses she could use, not wanting to seem over enthusiastic. "W-Whatever is easiest f-for you." She twiddles her fingers behind her back.
 
Ireth nods at Alexandra and turns his attention to Phoenix as she responds to Alexandra's question. "I believe not wasting time on another horse will be quickest and easiest. Beside you look light enough to not be cumbersome little bird."
