Well hello there! Thanks for checking out my 'Ad'!
First off I wanted to introduce myself. I did so in the introduction thread. But I wanted to put this here as well, so that you knew what you were getting into with a writer such as myself.
My name is Gracie. Im a Mom of two kids. I work part time. Im married. LOL. So this 'hobby' of mine is a distraction. A passtime. As much as I want to be here every day, that doesn't always happen. But I do manage to come here quite often. So worry not.
I LOVE to write. As in my posts are generally at LEAST 5 paragraphs long. Im looking for writers with the same intention. I get that not every post warrants a long winded response. But I like to TELL the story. Not just have the dialogue. I tend to like to set the scene up. Incorporate feelings and ideas. Observe and react. THAT is all part of the fun for me. Getting inside these characters minds. Being them so to speak.
I love nothing more than to plot ideas out together over DMs. I like bringing characters together and having them get to know one another. With that, I really like a long play romance, should our characters feel that chemistry.
I generally play female. And really like to play out the chemistry between our two characters. So my usual go to, is MxF. That said, Im not opposed to trying other situations. But I have to be subscribed to the plot, you know?
And finally, with what I mentioned above, I like to take my time to craft my response. So my replies don't come instantly. Likewise I don't expect yours to. On a good day, if Im free I might get a response back to you the same day. But usually it takes me a couple days to put it together and get it right. Especially if the RP is established. I certainly don't mind if you do the same.
OK.. you've made it this far. So I'll give you an idea I have floating around here. But this isn't my only one. Just a jumping off point. If we hit it off as RP partners, the possibilities are endless!
My character, a woman about 23 or so. She lives alone in a larger city. As a paramedic, she works nights, and had found herself in many 'tough' situations. Contrary to her looks - a petite and quiet blonde - she handles things quite capably, and can hold her own.
Perhaps she has even helped out your character at some point. This could be our jumping off point.
My end game is to drag your male character on a trip home that he hadn't bargained on. Perhaps he's not a fan of Christmas, or has reservations about families, and 'down home-ness'. But whatever it is, he's kind of sucked in to going with her, and experiencing this rather quirky brand of Christmas cheer.
This sounds rather lame at the moment. The point is, we figure out the details together. LOL
