Totally human, I swear!
Budding minds may become the next great dictator, but not everybody is here willingly, some kidnapped in order to fill in a quota at this high school for future villains. Whether your parents enrolled you, you came on your own, or you were kidnapped from wherever you were before this…. Well, you’re stuck here, like it or not.
Welcome to the Tudor Lestrange Institute of Villainy and Henchmanship.

Rathbone, Maggie, & Boomer Diggs

After the long drive from Alberta, Maggie parked her pickup truck on the lawn in an effort to avoid the crowd of people who might vandalize it. Perhaps that made it more conspicuous, but that didn't occur to the self-proclaimed mad roboticist.
"We're here!" Exclaimed Rathbone, very nearly snagging thon's sleeves in the door as thon rushed out of thon's seat.
"Hold on Rathbone! Don't forget about Boomer! You know Mom wouldn't allow you here without him, and I'm not gonna deal with them like that!"
Rath growled, coming to a stop and turning so quickly that thon's skirt flared a bit.

"I don't plan on leaving my stuff behind," Rathbone said indignantly, "Unload him."
Once Maggie exited the truck and lowered the truck's gate, She extracted a smart tablet from her purse. With a few swipes of the screen, Boomer, who had lay dormant and immobile in the bed of the truck now stirred. The whirring of his internal printer could be heard, and Maggie craned her neck to watch as the paper unrolled from within, bearing a message.

"It is unkind of you. This is the longest I have been immobilized for your benefit."
"Boomer, just follow Rath or I'll take a hammer to your hard drive one of these days!"
"This oak trunk on my back is heavy, but I can still carry it. I will also carry on like I did not hear that. Please stand clear."
"Fine." Margaret did just that, and Boomer leapt out of the truck bed, landing in motion and walking towards Rathbone as Margaret followed after locking the truck, sure to keep Boomer's front camera feed up on the screen of the tablet. She had to make sure he wasn't planning escape.

The three approached the school, cutting across the lawn and through the crowd.

Knott Lazarus

Knott hoped that whoever Lowell Hrolf was that they would not de-room them, steal their stuff, or do anything else to give them grief. Of course, among other things, Knott had small inventory of potions and other magical items, about seven copies of the same outfit, a large cardboard box filled with notes and old written assignments, and no foolproof way to protect any of it. In fact, their lightning sword already been pilfered in the process of moving, and they were majorly bummed that it was probably in the wrong hands, and that it would be problematic to get back even if they were able to track it down. For now, he still had keys to the new dorm, though, and they were in it now, sitting on a beanbag chair in the communal area and sipping a can of goat blood as they waited for the arrival of the new roommate.

Decibel - Interactions Open & Gunther Die Stille - Crevan Priest ( StrixDesmodus StrixDesmodus )

The trip along the Rural roads of Ohio proved to be a peaceful sight for newcomers, but in the case scenario of this current journey through these familiar streets, it was a warm and welcoming return to a place called home.

And that home, was Tudor Lestrange Institute. The person calling this place home? No other than Gunther Die Stille, the institute’s resident elderly Librarian/Student Councilor/Academic support worker with a Tinkerer’s knack. This grey skinned stick figure’s heart, and quite frankly mostly everything about him makes others wonder how the institute found him to be the right guy for whoever , which is ironic due to Tudor homing those wishing to become humanity’s next biggest threats no matter how brutal, manipulative, or even just plain dangerously stupid they are.

Not like Gunther hasn’t put any deep thought into it, mainly because he found himself loving his job. The beautiful view his abode gains from the Library’s 3rd story living quarters is enough as it is, or alongside the Library being built to his tastes, nevertheless the friends he made among his fellow staff were what mattered most. He saw them as family; like Crevan Priest, who he saw as a brother, or Nibbles Scratchwick, who reminded him of a cat he had when he was a kid. By now you’ve got the gist, but speaking of Crevan…

“I oughta give the chap a call, let ‘em know I’m returning..” Gunther idly said aloud as he made a left turn in his 1963 Volkswagen Beetle onto the final straightaway before reaching the lawn. Though in a small spout of mischief he slowed to a mere 10 mph as he took out his phone and dialed Crevan’s number.

Upon answering, that’s when he spoke.

“Howdy Crevie! Got those Dinwether Beetles like I promised! Sure hope ya kept yer end of the bargain about Decibel aye?”

If there was one thing that Finnegan loved, it was moving in day. Almost nothing made him happier than the gentle buzz of newcomers rushing around, looking for their dorms.

He'd already unpacked and made himself lunch- thick chunks of a bicep steak cooked in bone broth along with various vegetables with soft slices of fresh baked bread slathered with sweet salted butter. While he was cooking, he'd also made cookies. It couldn't hurt to make a few new friends on the first day. He'd unpacked and cooked in something comfy, but he wasn't going to let anyone else see him in that- it'd be entirely unprofessional.

Finnegan had changed into something he'd typically wear- his binder (of course,) a long sleeved white dress shirt under a baby yellow waistcoat embossed with floral patterns. He'd rolled up the sleeves to above his elbows as well. He also wore a pair of tan khakis and the only casual shoes he owned- a pair of yellow converse. Finnegan's hair was pushed back out of his face with a white fabric headband.

Once he was finally ready, he'd taken the liberty of introducing himself and knocking on a few doors. After all, he was a sophmore! Finnegan thought now because he was older than a portion of the students at the school, he should take responsibility and offer his help to anyone who may need it. Anyone other than a human.

With his wings pressed neatly against his back, and the Tupperware container of cookies under his arm, Finnegan knocked on the door to Knott and Lowell's dorm.

Knott Lazarus

Knott froze at the sound of the door opening, bracing themself for Lowell's entry and opening the door. To their surprise, it was an old classmate. Momentarily, Knott was glad to be a vampire, recalling that they had been in Consumer classes with him.
"Finnegan? Umm.... Hi?" Knott eyed the container he held, and wondered if something cooked out of humans parts was in it. "I don't eat humans any more."

Mr. Crevan Priest

As Crevan approached the front door of the institute, clipboard in hand, his ringtone resounded. Seeing that it was Gunther, he smiled and answered it.
"Hello, Gunther! Thanks for the Dinwether's beetles, those'll definitely come in handy. The bargain? Don't you worry, it's all going as planned. How's the trip going?"

My exhausted footsteps remain alone. Lost with nowhere to go. A little bit psychopathic, but we're keeping it together. Sort of.

Lowell Hrolf(?)

Another weirdly ominous van, and another... rough ride. You know, as harsh as a shove hello and a kick goodbye. Darn employees... They didn't even bother to help him with his stuff! They just dropped the boxes and bags of his things right next to where they, *ahem* "dropped him off." This place seemed nicer than where they were keeping him beforehand, though.

Well, it was a teensy-tiny bit scary. A towering medieval-ish building coated in the darkest of darks. Lowell looked around... People, animate objects who had no right walking around all alive like that, and plenty of different creatures were also making their way inside. They figured they should be doing the same thing.

Hrolf calmly set his bags on top of the big, heavy, cardboard box, and lifted it with ease. They held it close to their chest with the tight grip of both of their arms and began walking. It didn't weigh much, if at all. But... They were a werewolf, so it was a given that strength would be one of his... Strengths! His footsteps would rustle on the grass, it seemed as if he was going in some sort of rhythm, sort of obvious by their quiet, small humming. After all these years, some lullabies were still...

The werewolf's cheery exterior kept up as they entered the building. Continuously distracting his mind from the truth.

It should've been you. -Wow, it smells pretty great in here!- You were never sorry. -Such a nice painting... Wonder who made it?- You can still hear their cries, and you still felt they all deserve it.

He looked down at his palm. Instructions were written by himself in a blue, ballpoint pen.

Bummer! The very last part had been washed out by the fearful sweat of his hands... It was nothing too important, so they'll be all nice and dandy without that information... They hope...

Lowell steadily made his way up the stairs. Checking his left palm one more time before deciding that another look would be a clear sign of his irresponsibility and lack of organization. He set his left hand back to do his job, which was carrying his darned stuff all the way to 'ROOM 008, FLOOR 2'. Despite not being in his so-feared werewolf form, most of his senses still applied to the common day. We're talking about enhanced sniffing, strength, and sight. Nothing super extraordinary, just above average enough to be considered a special trait.

Wow! It seems like he completely forgot about... That! It certainly was nice, you know, not thinking about... You know... All the time! And the excitement of not being in...

Ok. He still couldn't forget it. All he can do right now is... Suppress until the time is right. Which was never, but he wasn't going to have
'Another one of his fits' On his first day.

Eventually, Lowell reached the second floor, taking a good huff of the air. Now, where was the puff, big bad wolf?

He figured that the room shouldn't be so far, it's only the eight numberoonie on floor 2!...

...

...He did not just think 'numberoonie.'...

Their small case of anxiety slowly rose as they noticed that the presumed 'Room 008' was in the middle of an interference. Lowell had no idea how to approach this situation, since it was meant to just be them and maybe his roomie. But now it was his roomie and an angel! Well, it wouldn't make much of a difference, only takes the wits to interrupt an ongoing conversation. Which he had, so time for the pretty boy to report in!

Hrolf hoped that the big box and bags he was carrying would divert enough attention for that angel guy to get out of the way. No, not in a mean way! He just needs to get through. He figured that speaking was his best option other than simply standing there, awkwardly.

"Yo! You must be Knott, right?" He took a blind guess at the angel standing in front of the door. He extended a friendly arm... 'Wrong hand. Woops' He thought as he awkwardly shifted hands from his left to right one. Wouldn't like to get ink all over someone's hand.

He continued to effortlessly carry the stuff with one arm.

"I'm Lowell Hrolf! Uh- Nice to meet you!~" They smiled softly, still waiting on that handshake.

Don't leave them hanging!

"Hello, Gunther! Thanks for the Dinwether's beetles, those'll definitely come in handy. The bargain? Don't you worry, it's all going as planned. How's the trip going?"
Gunther Die Stille - StrixDesmodus StrixDesmodus (Crevan Priest)

"Gladdie to hear sport! Got off the Airport 'n hour ago. Currently rolling on up into the Lawn." By now his car had reached the front lawn, softly moving along its grassy surface before halting next to Diggs Pickup Truck. "Say, help me sneak Decibel to the back garden? I'll give ya first dibs on one of the new recipes I learned from Moldavia~" Gunther offered in a sing-song like voice, as if him speaking in general didn't give away his excitement.

"Hi Knott!" His voice was as angelic as the rest of him. Smooth and sweet with each word sounding like it was coated in honey.

Finnegan gave a wide grin, shaking his head. "It's not Human, silly! They're snickerdoodles! They're really yummy, and I made too many for just myself so-" he fished the container from under his arm and pried the lid off- "want some?"

They smelled like cinnamon, sugar, and something else. Something sweet, and rich, but- it wasn't identifiable. Knowing Finnegan it was probably ambrosia. He always used it if he wasn't cooking for himself- he'd probably sob if someone said they didn't enjoy something he'd made for them, so the ambrosia was a safety net. It was almost always enjoyable to whoever was consuming it, though to Humans in large quantities the raw stuff can be extremely deadly.

Finnegan flinched upon Lowell speaking, feathers fluffing up like he was a startled parrot. He sqeaked, head snapping in Lowell's direction.

"Oh!" he smiled again, "Hi!- But, um, no, I'm not Knott. I'm Finnegan! I live down the hall." He fumbled with the lid of the Tupperware before tucking it back under his arm and shaking Lowell's hand. "That's Knott." He pointed at Knott in the doorway.

He let go of Lowell's hand. "You seem sweet, but you should really be careful shaking hands with a literal villain," his smile softened as a slightly cocked his head to the side. "I know I'm pretty, but you've seriously gotta be careful here! It'd suck to have to hear you've been eaten or something because you shook hands with the wrong kid-"

Finnegan pouted shortly before his smile returned, "This isn't a threat by the way, I don't wanna hurt you. But-ah, someone here might, so, uh, stay safe, ok?"

Crevan Priest

"Sure thing," He replied, "Will we need the invisibility cloak, or just a distraction for Bergman?" Mr. Priest was hoping that he'd have a chance to use the cloak. While this mission wasn't quite "sticking it to the man," as he wouldn't dream of doing anything guaranteed to anger the principal, it was a fun little risk that hearkened back to the days when he was a legitimate rebel instead of being paid to be a bad example. It was a sweet deal, but he was half aware of how cheap it seemed.

Knott Lazarus

It didn't take much convincing once Knott saw and smelled the cookies.
"Ah, ok. I'll have one then." At the sound of Lowell introducing himself, Knott leaned to the side of the doorway to see and be seen, "Yeah, I'm Knott. And he's right. Shaking hands will make you stick out. It's a sure sign you don't know or believe what kind of place this is."
Knott then stepped aside to make way for Finnegan and Lowell. "Come on in, I guess. The room on the far left is mine. You'll probably want more sunshine than I do."

Aw, shit! Am I being too nice? I thought handshakes were an 'everything' thing. Can people just... EAT ME?! I take everything back.

Lowell Hrolf (!)

Lowell retracted his left arm back into lifting the boxes anxiously. I mean, he knew that this was an evil school/place/thing. But weren't handshakes customary for everyone? Even villains do handshakes, and most of the time they don't kill you right after them. Or before them. Hrolf closed his once big grin, but still kept up that cheery/confident attitude. Or facade. If they truly acted how they were feeling they wouldn't even be here in the first place, instead being chased in an attempt to escape from the gates.

They quietly chuckled at Finnegan's statement, not because it was funny, well, sort of. Beginning a death warning with 'I know I'm pretty' broke all of the seriousness that came from such things, so Lowell thought that keeping a lightheaded perspective with these things was the best option. It definitely wasn't a 'yeah sure' chuckle, but more of a 'this is very scary but slightly comedic so to relieve stress I'm going to... Make noise!' chuckle.

Lowell did give a soft nod at the instructions, so, what did we learn? No handshakes. Awww man!...

Hrolf leaned a little bit to look at the now-announced Knott. Yay, roomie! Wait- no. This is a gritty, dark, dangerous place... No 'Yay's' allowed. So... Roomie... With that Batman type-a voice. Yeah...

He gathered his thoughts on what to do next in a millisecond. It went something along the lines of: 'Smile, talk, walk in, get your things in your room, and ???'

And he smiled, "Sorry 'bout that. Usually," He cleared his throat, "Very formal and dedicated villains" He put on a fancier tone as he entered the apartment, whispering a natural, rather uncontrollable "--Thanks, man.--," "Accept most handshakes." He shrugged.

*Pamf*

Lowell placed his stuff down on the floor, right next to the wall. "I'll get that later." He mumbled under his breath, stretching a bit before going back into the scene.

They inspected the cookies for a bit, yeah, they looked tasty as hell, but... What if they were poisoned? I mean, this so-called 'Finnegan' said he wouldn't want to hurt them, but could they really trust him?... No! So that's why he's going to reach out for a cookie.

Not bothering to ask, but making his intent clear prior by a hesitant hand.

Why are you looking at him like that? If it was poisoned, so what? He deserved to die anyways- -He had nothing to live for- Hey, that doesn't sound right... Um...

Everything in his head got awkward as he took a big bite out of the snack. His eyebrows would rise as the taste hit his buds, a tiny gleam in his eyes. Hey, if the first thing of the morning was a cookie, then there was no doubt he could survive in here. If the aforementioned cookie wasn't poisoned.

"Mm-" He swallowed whatever cookie was left in his mouth. "-This isn't too shabby! 'Cha made these yourself?" He looked at Finn, taking another bite of the very nice cookie.

Gunther & Decibel Die Stille - Crevan Priest (Possibly the Diggs as well..? ) StrixDesmodus StrixDesmodus

"Invisibility cloak ye say..?" The mention of that got him hooked the instant that sentence ended. “Definitely sounds like something fun! Meet me out at the lawn. I’m parked next to this pickup truck.”

He then hung up, turning around to face his robotic child, who had been sitting idle and dormant in tbe backseat with their knees up to their torso.

“Sorry if it’s cramped back there bud. The RV conversion should come soon for the trade.”

Decibel, who had been idly staring out the window of the car looked towards Gunther and nodded with a soft mechanical humm, before waiting to exit the car.

“Alrightie now.. just to pull ye out..! Hnng..!”

With the door fully open, both Gunther and Decibel were making effort to get thw latter out of the vehicle, since getting them in was a task itself.

A few more seconds and the two found themselves flung back from how hard they pulled and pushed, as if it were a moment in a cartoon.

Decibel found themselves flung over the other side of the Diggs truck, landing with a very audible *CLANK*

Gunther was in the same case, though for him it was more of a thud.

“Nailed it!”

Knott Lazarus

They took a cookie themself, and bit into it, attempting to savor it, but swallowing ravenously, cursing and pondering the instinct to swallow tasty foods quickly. This was all too amplified when Knott was turned into a vampire, and it often made them feel beastly in addition to cheated out of an extra second of flavor.

"Those are the ones to watch your back around, the ones that want you to trust them. Even the expendables could try to get you to do something reckless, if not outright lead you into a trap."

Mr. Crevan Priest

"Ok. I'll be right out." With that, Crevan unzipped his jacket and slid out a silken cloak, embroidered on the hood with a pair of open eyes, on the cape portion with the image of a misshapen animal of indeterminate species and an inscription in the Modern Demonian language: "If the hood is over my head, I shall not be seen." In Modern Demonian, it rhymed, but it's very difficult to spell with the Latin Alphabet.

Rathbone Diggs, Boomer Diggs, Margaret Diggs

"What was that!?" Exclaimed Margaret, he eyes widening as she heard the crash behind her. Turning around, Rathbone turning too, they both gasped at the sight of a sizeable, scratched dent above the rear wheel and who were no doubt the culprits, a robot and a stick figure.
"NOOO!" whined Maggie, Knowing she'd be in trouble anyway. She could repair it herself, but unless she could do it in secret, she'd never hear the end of it from either of her moms.

"Well that sucks," Rath stated.
"Almost like a hammer to the hard drive." Printed Boomer, "Almost."
"Not now, Rath. Ugh, you've got to be kidding me!
"I'm gonna go to the dorms, Mags. Bye."
"Not now you're not! Hey Boomer, charge after them. That'll lean 'em."
Boomer did no such thing, and in fact began to run in circles behind Rath and Maggie, angry that his message was ignored, but Maggie stomped over to Gunther and Decibel, not caring what Boomer did or didn't do right now.

"Don't apologize," he said, ruffling his wings together in slight frustration, "it's not like you did anything wrong, it's just- it's just really easy to get hurt here, especially if you don't believe in what this place actually is."

Finn nodded, smiling again. "And yeah, I did! I'm a great cook, Knott can confirm." He snickered quietly, "Knott, d'ya want another cookie?" He held the container back out after orying the lid off once more. "Heck, you can even have the rest if you like. I've gotta go hunt down my roommate, I'm sure he's running around like a headless chicken."

"Anyway, I'll leave these with you-" he handed the rest of the cookies to Lowell. "If you need anything, you know where to find me." He turned on his heel to leave.

Hezikiah Fukuro

Interactions: open

Attire: dark blue hoodie with black jeans and black combat boots. His dreads are pulled into a loose ponytail.

Location: Tudor Dorms

With a flash of lightning and a deafening crack of thunder, Hezikiah appeared in the courtyard with lightning still swirling around him. His eyes widened as he looked upon the school, ignoring the kids with frowns on their faces from the deafening clap of Thunder, a grin spreading across his warm brown skin. “Alright remember what master said, you’re here to learn and become stronger” he pulled his hair up into a ponytail before grabbing his luggage. With one final gaze at the magnificent school, he headed in to find his dormitory and get settled in.

After about thirty minutes of wondering like a lost puppy, he managed to find the dorm and walked in “wow this is…different” he said aloud while walking into the space. It was set up like a like an apartment with living room being the first space you walk into. He walked further into the dorm and decided to choose the room furthest from everything. Hez looked around the decent sized room and sighed with content “this might be the best idea Raj-sama has ever come up with” he smiled and flopped down on the bed. He got up and began unpacking, trying to make the room a little more homey with some souvenirs from his room back in Japan.

After getting the room set up to his liking, Hez decided he would familiarize himself with the campus and headed out of the room

Sharon Angler& Thorntalon

After having lugged her stuff to her room earlier this morning, she had a shipment of frozen mice to pick up, and thus she and Thorntalon weren't in the dorm when their new roommate entered. Still, luggage left in the living room evidenced that someone was indeed there, at least before he left.

"Hello?" She called out to no answer."Well, Thorn, it looks like we just missed 'im. Gotta get these mice into the freezer though. You don't want them do spoil do ya?" With that, Sharon approached the freezer, opening it and placing the package of frozen mice inside of it.
"How about we go to the back garden before it rains," Thorntalon suggesteted, "I want fresh mice if I can get them."

Sharon started to the back garden, Thorntalon on her shoulder.

Knott Lazarus

"He is a very good cook," Agreed Knott, "And of course we want those cookies. Who could resist?"
Knott took one more cookie before approaching the desk in the corner of the living room area and leaning against it, taking a sip of the blood before biting into the new cookie, this time chewing it more slowly.
"It took some learning for me too," Knott then said, "I didn't know much when I came here."

Finbar Cody

Finbar felt groggy, but nevertheless woke up, baffled to be slumped over on the floor of a strange hallway with his horse, Ember, nowhere in sight. The last thing he remembered was taking her for a ride into town, and now he wondered if he'd fallen off or dropped his head and his riding helmet had failed him. Was this what it's like to be in a coma? Was he dead? The helmet was still on his head, oddly enough, and near him was his own luggage.
"Cripes in a coffin!" He interjected, figuring he couldn't be dead. After all, everyone knows "you can't take it with you." and yet here was at least the very suitcases he took to visit his grandparents across the island.
Getting up and tucking his head under his arm, he unzipped one of the bags, and surely enough his clothing was in there.

"This is bizarre."
At first he hadn't paid attention to the people around him, but soon saw a winged person approaching. Perhaps they know what's going on. I just hope I'm not in any kind of a problem.
"Excuse me, but I'm afraid I'm lost." began Finbar, "What is this place?"

The fabled, trademarked Bird Boy Cookies (TM). Why do they taste like everything sweet? It's weird. Leaves a feeling in your mouth.

Lowell Hrolf-ish

They took one final bite of the sweet cookie, savoring the last bits of it. It had been a good while since they'd tasted something nice. So this was a great breath of fresh air. Their foot quietly tapped on the floor, not exactly impatient, but excited to get to his new room. They dusted off their hands as they listened to the two guy's warnings. Maybe or maybe not holding back a yawn.

Lowell took a bit of a closer look at this Knott person. Easily noticing... Tell-tale vampire bite marks?! Well, he shouldn't be surprised, really. When an angel pulls up with some cinnamon-tasting cookies nothing much can surprise him going forward. He raised an eyebrow at hearing the word 'expendables' what are those?... He sorta-kinda heard about them the days before going here. Supposedly the worst rank of them all in the school. Eh, what's the worse thing that can happen, really?

He closed-ly waved goodbye to Finnegan, the bunch of cookies in hand. He grabbed one from his left hand and took a bite. Looking back at the vampire.

"Well, yeah. New faces, new place. Hard to let go of old ethics and morals." He shrugged, taking yet another big munch of the cookie.

"When did you come to this place?" His head would tilt to the right. Finishing his second cookie as he kept the other 4 left in his hand. Knott was right about the bird boy, he was a very good cook. Well, or baker. He has yet to taste anything else from him other than these cookies.

"It's a school," he started, "the Tudor Lestrange Institute. "If you weren't enrolled-.. they do sometimes kidnap kids to fill the student quota," he shrugged. "Anyway, I'm Finnegan!"

"I was just looking for my roommate, I think his name is Finbar? Something like that. That can wait though, do you want me to take you to the office fo find your dorm n' stuff?" His wings ruffled quietly as he took a step forward. "Want some help with that?"

Getting back up with a shake of his head, Gunther looked to the dent accidentally caused by the landing of him and his Brass child’s landing.

“Ooh.. That’s one unfortunate fender bender if I've ever seen one..” He noted with his hand cupping his chin.

Looking back to Decibel, who now had gotten up and stood next to Gunther, an idea popped in his head.

“Say sonny, how’s it sound to put one of yer upgrades to the test?”

“. . . “ Decibel blankly stared for a few moments, before a ping was heard.

“Fixer Upper Engaged.” A low robotic voice rang out from seemingly nowhere, as their right arm started shifting into a numerous array of repairing equipment to get the job done.

As Decibel converged upon the Dent to fix it, Gunther then noticed Maggie stomping her way towards the two, with an erratic robot dog not too far behind her.

"Hehe.. I 'sume yer the owner? No Worries! My sonny here has a knack for mechanics so he'll fix it up good as new in no time!"

Gunther gestured for her to observe, as Decibel had removed the wheel and began buffing out the dented fender to the point it looked as though nothing happened to it except the scratches, all while holding the truck with one hand.

"Scratch repairs will take place shortly, please stand by." Decibel notioned before waiting room music started playing from seemingly the source of sound they managed to speak from.

Finbar Cody

"What kind of school kidnaps people?" He blurted, now even more baffled. Being kidnapped would explain why he was here instead of any place he recognized, but what kind of kidnapper would send him to a school? He'd heard of some unfortunate teens being forcibly sent to reformatory schools, but that wasn't something he figured his mother would do. His father might, but Fin was certain that he had no authority to do that, especially with that rat bastard being in Ireland now instead of Canada.
"Wait a minute.... How do you know my name?"

Knott Lazarus

"It'll be two years from now the day after tomorrow." Answered Knott, "I was a different person then, and I hope to be different again by the time I'm out of here."
They sighed, shaking their head as though to remove the memory of what they were like in their first few months in the institute, then realized that Lowell would be plowing through the cookies at the rate he was going.
"I'd be careful with those cookies. I'm certain they have ambrosia in them, and that can be a bit of a.... hazard to some people."

Rathbone Diggs, Boomer Diggs, Margaret Diggs

Maggie's jaw dropped by the time she and Rathbone reached her truck. The robot was messing with it! Wait, no.... maybe fixing it. She'd be relieved had she not been a villain herself, familiar with the ways of the kind of people who hung around places like this.

"I hope that that's what he's really doing," She replied coolly, inspecting Decibel's work-in-progress.

"Don't start a fight," Urged Rath, while Boomer stopped circling about fifteen feet away.
"Well, dang. He's doing a good job!" And Maggie's face lost its scowl, now bearing an astonished expression."Rath, maybe you'd better hang around this robot. You could learn a thing or two. And so could Boomer, if he's capable of learning anything"
"Yeah, whatever."

Crevan Priest

Soon enough, he was on the front lawn, passing by many students and parents and greeting them. Nobody so far questioned the cloak he held.
Nearly reaching the parking lot, he scanned for Gunther's vehicle.

"It could happen, though it depends on which classes and dorms he'll be in.." Gunther replied to both Rath & Maggie's comments as Decibel continued on, now sampling the Truck's paint color for accurate repairs.

"Ah, where my manners 'ave gone? I'm Gunther Die Stille, Tudor Lestrange's Librarian and Academic Support. That fellow repairing your vehicle is my Son, Decibel." He stood tall, holding his hand out for a shake.

"Greetings, Organic Lifeforms and soul trapped within a mechanical vessel. Repairs stand at 95%, with final protection coat being applied." Decibel made note of their progress, showing that the scratch was now completely gone and being polished over to match the rest of the vehicle.

I’m kinda running out of things to put here... Scary werewolf noise, blah, blah.

Lowell Hrolf-ish

Lowell raised another small eyebrow at the vampire’s regretful comments, he nodded in small understanding. Obviously, he knew what regretting past actions felt like. Hrolf felt a sting in his spine, shuddering lightly.

Their eyes slightly widened at hearing the cookie comment. I mean, whatever ambrosia was, theeir body was probably cool with it, seeing how the 4 (or 5?) cookies they had eaten did nothing.

He nodded once more, just after taking another little bite of a cookie.

“So,” He clapped his hands a little. “Excuse me for my ‘newbie-ness’ right now. I promise you I just got thrown back into... Err... People.”

He chuckled, grasping his right arm.

His smile faltered slightly. In an attempt to keep himself composed, Finnegan took in a deep breath and clenched his fists before releasing them. "A school that desperately needs to meet a student quota."

His wings gently ruffled together before folding themselves neatly against his back. "You're Finbar? We're roomies then! That's how I know your name. You should have gotten something that says what doem you're in as well as who you're rooming with-" he clasped his hands together, leaning forward slightly to peek at Finbar's things. "Did they really not give you anything when they dropped you off?"

Rathbone Diggs, Boomer Diggs, Margaret Diggs

"Yeah, I guess it does depend...." Rathbone said. While robotics wasn't completely off the table, as Boomer's presence assured, Rathbone didn't want to be shoehorned into anything if thon could help it.
"Well, Rath, don't burn bridges It's great to meet you, Mr. Die Stille. I'm Maggie Diggs."

"And I'm her sibling, Rathbone. That's Boomer, over there."
Boomer, meanwhile, had slowly gotten closer to the group, enough so that if Gunther or Decibel looked closely enough, they could see what he had printed on the ticker-tape paper.
"Thank you for acknowledging that I have a soul. That detail is usually forgotten, when not debated."
Boomer could count himself lucky for now that neither Rathbone nor Maggie bothered to read the paper, though Maggie did raise an eyebrow at the mention of Boomer's soul.

Crevan Priest

Finally spotting Gunther and co, he approached, the cloak of invisibility folded somewhat messily over his arm.
"Hey, I've got the cloak," He said, grinning, "Are you ready?"

Finbar Cody

Finbar noted Finnegan's sudden disquietedness, though was unsure of how to react, and relieved when that small expression of annoyance faded. He remained wary.
"Well, I guess they gave me this." He gestured with his free hand to the uncannily familiar luggage, just a few bags strewn on the ground beside him. "It's mine, or at least it looks like it's mine. Don't know how the blazes it got here with me." It was hit and miss whether the contractors absconded with more than just their main target, but per orders were at least usually obligated to bring the student's basic belongings with them. Finbar, of course, didn't know that, but back in Newfoundland, his room was conspicuously empty of all that was now in the bags he had gestured to.
"So they're desperate enough to just steal people? Aint there laws against that? Not that I don't want to be your, um, roomie or anything, but I'm not entirely sure I belong here. 'Specially since I don't think I have that paper."

Stephanie Rain

Stephanie had not bothered to check the rooming assignments yet, as she was certain she'd be de-roomed again. Instead, she was busy looking for stuff to steal from new and returning students. So far, she'd got what she could from the first floor- A few tee shirts here and there, a few pocketknives, a peculiar looking orb, and a possibly enchanted harmonica, all stowed in a satchel of unicorn leather she'd managed to steal last year, which she had hidden in a supply room.
Onward to the second floor, she steeled herself with the internal assurance that nobody knew where the bag was but herself, and morphed into a mouse. She had hoped that nobody noticed, and indeed nobody did as she dashed through a random doorway, only to hear a familiar voice. She sighed in frustration. She couldn't recall their name, but figured they were bad news. They'd dissected her once, she was sure.

Knott Lazarus
Knott shrugged, then took the last bite of the cookie in their hand.
"My condolences. It's definitely a harder place here than, well, most other places."
Knott then turned his head to look to the doorway, certain they'd heard a brief yet conspicuous sighing sound, with no discernable source as close as the sound seemed.
"Who's there?" They inquired firmly, taking a few steps closer to their personal quarters. They weren't carrying any of their magical items on their person, as they didn't want their potential power to be conspicuous, but considered using one now that there was an invisible intruder.

I’m kinda running out of things to put here... Scary werewolf noise, blah, blah, grr, grr.

Lowell Hrolf

“Yeah, I uh... I found out.” He smiled, his brows lowering in plain nervousness. Was he going to die here? Probably.

Lowell’s strange, nearly-faked smile turned into an unsatisfied frown. His mind still lingered on his so-called family, and there wasn’t much to help it. But his eyes would widen in curiosity as Knott’s little “Who’s there” exited his lips. Lunching forward, ready for action, in a way.

He took a sniff of the air... “Jeez... Smells like rat.” Hrolf’s nose wrinkled and pulled back in a bit of disgust. Rat never smelled good. Especially with augmented sense of smell.

Do we uh...” He paused in his speech, wondering if this would be in any way offensive. ”...Have a rat problem?... In the dorm?”

Pincushion
Waking up outside on the Institute's lawn, Pin groaned as the blobs above them slowly focused into students before a foot was prodded into their skull. 'How unfortunate,' They thought with dwindling patience as the gaggle of upperclassman continued to torment Pin. Lunging forward they grapple one of the students, a young cyclops, to the floor before grotesquely punching a hand through his retina. The resulting screams drew a soft smile to their face as Pin stood up to stretch, dislodging their arm from his eye with a sickening pop. 'Neutralized. Now to enter.' Calmly they wiped a blooded forearm off on grey slacks while advancing to the school unfazed in the slightest by the frenzied panic of other students following the altercation. Determined, Pincushion continued inside the to find their rooming assignment, tracking scarlet dots of blood to mar the pristine white tiles.
'Red's a nice color for this place.'

Previous day ~
"#04 you've been assigned to next semester, excel in your studies and you will be rewarded. Now please proceed to testing," An intercom above Pin's cell dictated to the captive individual. Placed in isolation following successful genetic experiments they were offered a chance to regain limited autonomy if enrolled at the Tudor Institute. At the very least they'd get better clothes than a prison jumpsuit and shock collar, both unfortunately in stark white which did little to flatter 04's figure. Hoping to investigate further into what circumstances brought them to this facility Pin accepted with every intent to exact revenge on the scientists involved following release. Their cell opened to a armed escort wielding a blowtorch (to combat their regenerative abilities), faceless as every being remained in the hellhole thanks to instilled glamours utilized to protect their identities. Once tied on a steel medical bench the quick jab of a needle sent the room spinning as white lab coats swarmed over 04's unconscious body.

Current ~
Snapping from the unpleasant memories Pincushion realizes they've reached a room brandishing a plaque detailing, 'Vex Von Brandt/ Pincushion.'
'Well at least they gave me a proper name'
Grasping the doorknob with a crimson hand they push it open to find...nobody. Shrugging Pin quickly takes stock of two twin beds separated by a shared nightstand, choosing the right. After placing dibs with their jacket a brief search reveals clothing provided by the Institute along with a deck of playing cards. "Interesting," Pin murmurs with a gravelly rasp prior to cleaning up the remains of the lawn's scuffle. Peeling off the bloodied dress shirt & tie they toss them in the trash before throwing open a closet to find fully prepped uniforms along with a simple card printed with a red sewing pin. Intrigued they find that each uniform has a similar monicker on the tag, 'Curious.'
