Most Call Me Jack
It was a day like any other day in the bustling city of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The November day wasn't anything particularly special until the sky lit up in a brilliant flash. People watched in awe as colored lights fell from the sky and seemed to disappear upon hitting the ground. The phenomena was studied for a year before it was dropped as no scientist could explain the matter.
The colored lights were, of course, not a mere scientific mystery, no. They were the result of a powerful being hurling magical artifacts forward in time. The being's name? Ysar, a magical being from a time long past fearing for his own corruption and eventual return. These artifacts were amulets of great power, collecting the souls of heroes of time past in order to be brought to the future and stop Ysar should he become corrupted.
These amulets have done their job, and now that Ysar's corruption has finally overtaken him, his contingency plan activated. The Amulets that had collected heroic souls have spread over Coeur d'Alene, a city close to where Ysar plans to make his first attack. People from around the city have found these trinkets, at first having no idea what they contained.
The chosen few who the amulets were meant for eventually obtained the artifacts and learned of their power: The heroic soul inside the amulet would bond to the soul of the worthy and would allow the chosen to take the form of the hero inside the amulet. These relationships can be different, some heroes allow the chosen full control of the form of the hero, some share control with the chosen, and some hijack the body and lock the chosen out completely.
Now, as Ysar's attack looms, the chosen Amulet Warriors must band together in hopes of saving the world and purifying Ysar. Who will answer the call?

So here's an old idea, I've tried it many times before, and by many I mean three, and by before I mean between 5-7 years ago.
So the way this would go is a player would play one of the chosen and the hero inside of the amulet. These heroes would be fictional and would most likely belong to the high fantasy hierarchy of characters, y'know mages, knights, assassins, the works. All heroes would be human. Your chosen can be literally anyone within reason. Nobody under the age of 14 and no one over the age of 50.
The heroes will also just be humans with special skills and some magics, not superheroes. As for historical accuracy? Throw it out of the window, in this timeline history is a dumb downed version of what really happened, that is until magic started falling out of use in the late 1600's.
At the start of the rp the chosen would already have their amulet and have met their hero and assumed their form at least once. The chosen would begin to find each other and learn of their mission early on.
