I've had this idea for a larger group RP. Here's the jist...
When: 1885
Where: Rapid City, South Dakota, United States. About 50 miles east of Deadwood.
Why: Gold had been found in the Black Hills and folks are moving to a town that's an alternative to the wild Deadwood. While still a bit unsafe it's much more stable than the boom town to the west.
Who: Looking for various people. Families, single folks open to romance. Store clerks, bar keeps, hookers, whatever.
The "mayor" of Rapid City and Marshall, Beauregard Matin would like to invite all to come to the newest frontier town and build a life for themselves on the frontier. Gold has been found in these hills and we need good, honest men to harvest it while also needing some business persons. We don't discriminate, we just want to make sure the right ilk show up here.
