I tell people I want the money because money will let me live a certain lifestyle. But honestly? Deep down inside, it's not about that. I have a void in my chest and I want to fill it with an endless number of achievements.
I don't see what's unhealthy about this. I just heard some people say that success never made them happy. I don't believe that, but they're so persuasive...
I mean, if I ever become ultra successful and rich, I can just be a philanthropist and be good to my family and loved ones and that will close my endless void in my chest, right? What's wrong with that?
Just to be clear, my ambitions are directed towards my wealth, career growth, and athletic endeavors. I believe I'm doing well enough so far.
