Jack was exhausted, it was really late and he had to pull a night shift at the bar where he worked as a bartender. Although he was tired he was happy because he didn't live that far away from where he worked. He then sighed and continued to walk on and just for the heck of it he went through an alley that he knew would come out behind his apartment building. He just felt like he wanted a change of scenery as he walked closer to the apartment.

Neo struggled to breathe, her claws scraping the sides of the wall she was clinging to. She meowed, trying to get someone's attention. She felt the world spinning beneath her paws as she wobbled in the alley. Seeing someone ahead of her, she mewed again before she lost consciousness.

Jack heard a meow from the alley way to his left and went in to it to see what had caused the sound. He then saw a bright colored cat laying on the pavement. He bent down and picked it up and checked to see if it was still alive. He sighed when he felt a faint heart beat. Upon closer inspection he saw how frail the cat looked. He then sighed and carried it to his apartment where he tried to warm the cat up and petted it as he laid a saucer of tuna and milk in front of the cat. He then wasn't sure if the cat would wake up, but he pulled up a chair and sat down in it incase it did wake up, but eventually fatigue had gotten to him and soon enough he fell asleep in the chair.

Neo woke up later, in an apartment. She looked around wearily, she ate some of the tuna and drank the milk, changing back to her original form as a human, not noticing the other person in the room. She didn't have anything on, seeing as cat's don't wear clothes. She curled up, taking her tail and holding it to her chest, falling asleep.

Jack woke up later that morning and his vision was a bit groggy so he couldn't make out Neo right away, but then when she finally came back into focus he jumped in his chair making it fall backwards creating a loud thud. So as he laid there rubbing the back of his head he was hoping that the naked girl with a tail and ears was just a dream.

Neo rubbed her eyes, stretching. She flicked her tail, yawning. She curled up again, twitching her ears. She heard the thud and her ears perked up. She raised her head slowly, seeing a man on the other side. She hissed, covering her body with her large tail.

Jack sat up and was happy when the girl used her tail to cover herself up. He then over the chair over and said," Whoa calm down. I'm a friend and I am not going to hurt you." Jack then went to his fridge and poured a glass of milk and set it down in the middle of the floor and went to the other side of the room.

Neo slowly slid across the floor and grabbed the milk drinking the entire thing and setting it down again, scooting back to the corner of the room. She looked up at him. "Have something I could wear, like a t-shirt?" She asked.

Jack nodded and took the glass and sat it in the sink and went to his room and grabbed and old t shirt. He then covered his eyes as he handed it to her and sat down on his couch. He had a lot of questions going through his mind right now.

Neo quickly pulled the shirt over her head and sighed, her ears and tails adjusting to the new sensation. "That's better." She mumbled, looking at the guy in front of her.

Jack nodded and looked around the room before finally looking at Neo and saying," I'm Jack, Jack Williams and can I ask who might you be."

 

[IceQueen]

Neo looked up, her eyes hostile, and a bit afraid. "Neo." She said, looking at him. Her tail twitched, her ears flicking at the same time.

Jack saw that she was a bit on edge so he knew to just keep calm a and not try to spook her. He then said," Well it's nice to meet you Neo, and you can sit in one of the chairs if you want no need to stay on the floor."

Neo slowly got to all fours and crawled towards one of the chairs, sitting down.

Jack smiled softly and couldn't help, but chuckled a bit. He then said," Ok then so why were you out in the Alley when I found you. Were you looking for some food or something?"

 

[IceQueen]

Neo shook her head. "I don't really remember. Something about no food." She said, shivering a bit.

Jack nodded and noticed she seemed to be shivering a bit. He then got up and went to a cupboard and pulled out a spare blanket and said," Here you were shivering. It's not fur, but it is a close second." He then chuckled and walked over and held the blanket out to her.

Neo took the blanket, wrapping it around herself. It was warmer with the blanket, but she couldn't wear one forever. "Thanks." She said.

Jack nodded and said," No problem." Jack then sat back down and said," I am guessing you have don't got a place to stay huh. Well you are more than welcome to stay here." He then smiled, he was just trying to convince her that she was safe here.

Neo nodded a bit. "Ok." She said quietly.

Jack nodded and said," no problem." Jack then smiled at her before laying down on the couch and turned on the tv. He then looked over at her and asked," So what are you exactly?"

 

[IceQueen]

Neo looked at him. 'I am a neko. Half cat, half human."

Jack looked at her and said," A neko huh. I thought that those were just fantasy, but here you are." He then chuckled and said," Oh yeah I forgot to mention that at six this afternoon I need to leave for work. I am a bartender."

Neo nodded. "Ok." She said, kind of happy. It would give her a chance to explore.
