Alls Fair in Love and War [Jake321 & SummerWolf]

SummerWolf

Forever Dreaming
Dakota yawned, and sat up. Her eyes shifted from the wall to her alarm clock, only to prove that she had gotten up early, as usual. She sighed, shut her alarm off, and got up from the bed. She pulled out clothes, and changed, then disappeared into the bathroom to brush out her hair, and put it up, and whatever else she needed to do. After she finished, she grabbed her bag, put on her shoes, and left the room.

The rest of her family was asleep, again as usual, so she made herself some toast and left the house. A glance at her cellphone showed she was doing okay on time, and she was in no hurry to get to the school. She took a longer route, and smiled to those she passed. When she arrived at the school, she changed out her shoes as required, and headed to her classroom. The door was open, though no-one was inside, and she entered, then settled at her desk and pulled out a book to read until everyone else arrived.

Brandon woke up to the sound of his alarm clock and as usual he got his shirt shorts on. And brushed his teeth and then he made his way down stairs. Then he greatest his parents

"Hi mom Hi dad"

"Hi Brandon" his parents said.

And he made his way to school but he took the long route and when he got there he was late as usual and as everyone looked at him he took his seat right next to his best friend Dakota.

Dakota glanced at Brandon around her book, then continued reading. "Took you long enough." She commented, wondering how long it would take him to learn to take the short way to school. Not that it made a difference, the teacher himself was late was well, and was only just arriving.

"Alright class. Take your seats. I'll begin attendance now." The teacher said, and started calling the names of students. When he called Dakota's name, she simply waved a hand in her air at him. By now, he was used to this, and moved on to the next person. Dakota continued to read, blocking out the unending here's and hai's of her classmates.
