“Can I get a strawberry margarita, please? Frozen.”
Katrina didn’t even have to finish her order before the bartender glanced to her with a knowing smile and nodded. “You got it, Kitty.” It wasn’t long before he sat a frosty, salt-rimmed glass in front of her. Returning the smile, the woman expressed her thanks as she brought the cold drink to her lips and took a sip. “Mmm,“ She relished in the sweet taste of her favorite beverage before swiveling around in her seat to get a look at the crowd. So far, it seemed like a typical night; a decent crowd, not too packed, but just enough for the girls to be able to go home later with a nice bit of cash. Those were the nights Katrina liked the best. The packed nights were what most of the girls preferred, and she could understand why; after all, those nights were typically the most lucrative, but they were also the most chaotic and irritating. Large crowds typical brought in newcomers, who liked to do things like sit at the bar all day and watch the girls pole dance without paying, or ask the strippers all types of inappropriate questions about what their real name was and why they had this job, among other things. Not to mention the fact that it made it harder for the girls to avoid harassment. It was for those reasons that Katrina preferred the in-between nights like tonight. They were just enough to get the girls working without being too overwhelmed.
Scanning the scene for a moment longer, trying to spot any regulars and watching the current girl onstage, Katrina took a few more long, slow sips of her cold drink before turning away from the crowd again facing the bar, tapping her fingers against the table. Tonight would be a good night, she could sense it. She donned white heels with a beautiful white lingerie set, consisting of fishnets, white garters, a white lace bra, and a pair of white panties that were less than conservative in the back. The lacy fabric popped against her dark brown skin and looked as bright as ever. She paired the outfit with a soft makeup look, her eyelids dusted with silver eyeshadow accompanied by black winged eyeliner and a pair of wispy false lashes. She had skipped the lipgloss tonight, opting instead for a simple clear gloss on her plump lips. It was a gorgeous, heavenly ensemble that Katrina never wore too often, simply because white outfits were a pain in the ass to wash after a long night, if they even lasted that long before getting stained with a drink or something. Still, after studying her collection of outfits with absolutely no clue what to pick and soliciting a fellow stripper for advice, it was what she’d helped pick, and therefore was what Katrina wore for the night.
By now the woman was halfway through with her drink and still hadn’t moved from her spot. There was no need to rush, she though, as she knew that on nights like this the customers weren’t going anywhere. In fact, Kat probably would have finished her drink completely if it wasn’t for the sudden commotion that ensued behind her. Looking back out to the crowd again, she could see customers beginning to turn their attention away from the strippers as something else seemed to catch their eye. Even some of the strippers themselves became distracted, she noticed. Turning her head to where they were looking, Katrina watched as a group of men entered the club, accompanied by one or two bodyguards, heading straight towards the VIP section. Her eyes followed them the entire time they made their way there, and she tried to make out the name of at least one of the men in the group, but she honestly couldn’t recognize any of them. Clearly, they were celebrities of some sort, at least one of them was, but they weren't celebrities she knew so she couldn’t really get all too excited about seeing them appear within the club. Especially as she watched a few starstruck dancers immediately hustle their way over towards VIP in hopes of a dance. Kat couldn’t blame them. Celebs always brought the big bucks.
Feeling a bit unimpressed by the sudden appearance of famous people that she couldn’t name, the stripper turned away from the crowd again with a look of indifference. She was just about to take another sip of her drink when she heard a familiar disapproving voice behind her. “Get a move on, Kitty.” Katrina didn’t even have to turn around to know that her boss and the club‘s owner, Marty, was looming behind her, probably not too happy that she was at the bar and not amongst the crowd. “Too many folks in here tonight for you to be sittin’ around at the bar.”
With a bit of a groan, Katrina rolled her eyes as she pushed herself off of the barstool, not before taking on last drink of her margarita of course. “Yeah, yeah,“ she muttered dismissively, shooting Marty an annoyed look as she left the bar and pushed herself into the crowd, which had grown in size significantly thanks to the celebrity appearance. She noticed that even the strippers who hadn’t made their way over to VIP seemed to be glance over it at from time to time, seemingly trying to catch a chance of them being able to head over there too. Pursing her lips, Katrina didn’t bother. Clearly there were a lot of girls in here who wanted to meet these guys much more than she didm so she instead decided to focus her attention on the customers already in front of her. Slowly strolling through the crowd, her eyes flickered through the patrons, hoping to find someone to offer a lap dance. Her night had officially started.
