It was a rather large party that was taking place at Alices and her mothers home. The mansion gates were opened welcoming family members and close family friends with warm hugs and stories. Though it was told to be a party it seemed more like an outside ball from everyones attire. Women wearing elegant dresses and men wearing suits, a bit much really, especially if you're only outside. The theme of the party was light colors so that what people came in. Alice mom was busy with greeting guestvand making sure everything was going as planned, meanwhile she had dismissed Alice away, knowing she was going to do so anyway and she wasnt going exactly be a good sport and help with a party. "I have never been this late in my life..." A small creature mumble to itself as it dashed under tables. It was a rabbit with a fluffy white coat and a rather fancy black vest. Its red eyes stayed forward as it darted from under a table and into the entrance of a lovely garden. It passed the white rose bushes and violets until it was up a hill where a very large tree stood and right bellow its roots was an even large hole which the white rabbit easily jumped down. Soon in landed in a large room and he quickly jumped to a small door, opening it with a key he had in his pocket and closing it behind him.

( @Daeya No need for a character sheet, just a photo will do and sorry if its a bit short, had to think of a way to start. ^^ )

Alice was shunned away- as usual. Being a child with such an unkempt imagination, of course she had to be excluded from the extravagant affairs her family hosted. The girl walked away from the growing throng of people- making her way to the back of the outdoor dining setting. Alice sat in one of the chairs, straightening her powder blue gown with a pout. Before she could take a chance to turn back and look at all of the fun she was missing, a tinny voice along with the rustling of grass could be heard a mere meter away.

She shook her blond curls, obviously thinking that the white rabbit darting away from the party was part of her imagination. Rabbits cannot talk, they cannot be 'late' for anything. They were rabbits. But yet again, she saw the smooth white figure darting through the hedges. Of course, she had to follow.

And now, there she was. Standing in a parallel universe for all she knew.First she was grown, then she was shrunk, and now she was holding a key that would undoubtedly change her future. The young girl fit it through the hole, twisting it and stepping outside.

"H-hello?"

When the girl had opened the door there was a rather large path leading to a broken and twisted gates that seemed to lead into a deep and dense forest with heavy fog and larger then life mushrooms growing here and there. It was quite a strange place and it seemed as if it was separated from where Alice was standing. It was sunny and there were bright, vibrant colored flowers on her left and right. It seemed as if the fog wouldnt dare touch the sunlight.

"What on earth is that?"

A womans voice questioned Alice but there was no one to be seen. Just then a rose had bloomed revealing a womans face. The rest of the flowers would unravel revealing other faces "What a strange looking flower!" A lily giggled cheerfully. "I dont this its a flower....I dont what it is but its really short. Just might be a weed.." a violet scoffed as she flipped some of Alice blonde hair. "Well dont touch her, rude." The rose hissed before looking down at Alice. "Umm excuse me young thing but what exactly are you and how did you get here?" she finally asked.

Alice walked a waze down the brightly colored path; her face aglow with wonder and curiosity. This was an imaginative girl's land, filled with bizarre looking flora and fauna and interesting sounds- each new object a treat for her senses. She inhaled the sharp air- only to be startled by a voice, a response to her previous question. She turned around from her awe, to reveal a set of talking.. Flowers? Alice gaped, stepping away from the species, only to trip over a log and fall straight on her bum, skirt of her dress splayed out like a tree dressing around her.

She stared, too dumbstruck to answer the flora's question. Instead, Alice's pale arm reached out to touch the petals of one- the blossom that had dared to touch her out of curiosity. Horrified by the fact that is was indeed tangible, Alice scooted back a couple meters again.

"I-I'm Alice. F-from England? I found this crazy rabbit in my garden; followed it to the hole next to the Oak, and jumped down. With all due respect, um, ma'am, may I ask whom you are?"

The violet quickly moved her petal away from Alice when she had to tried to touch her with the same intensions she had early. "What in the world is an Alice?" The violet sounded distressed as if this was frustrating her. "I never heard of an Alice flower and where is an England? Sounds like a funny place to go to." The lily rattled. "Well obviously this creature- Alice isnt a flower now be polite" the rose sighed before looking back down at the small girl. "Well deary I am Rosey. Over there is Lilly." she pointed to the Lilly flower who waved one of her stems "And violet." she then pointed to the violet who just starred at her unimpressed.

"So you followed that silly old rabbit down here? He is always bringing new creatures in and out of that door!"

The violet looked towards where Alice had came but the door was now gone, revealing nothing but forest behind. "Oh well thats just great, now how are we gonna get rid of her." the violet would scoff which got her a scowl from the rose, obviously she was the leader of the garden of talking flowers.

"If you don't mind me asking but how old are you Alice? This isnt the type of place for young.."

The young girl stood there, her face in a mask of confusion and interest- understanding and diataste; an intire melting pot of emotions.

"A-Alice. It's a name, given to me by my parents. And England? It's a splendid country with tons of darling people, except they reject imaginative girls like I."

She smiled at the flowers talking, knitting her brows together to create an odd expression. While they evaluated her, mumbling and snapping at eachother about flowers and rude qualities, she looked down at herself. In the process of coming down, it seemed for the blue lace of her dress was smudged with a fine layer of dirt. She pouted, running her dainty hands over the silt, flaking it off of her fingers.

Alice responded to the flower, Rosey as she had introduced herself. She extended a hand, as if in a hand shake, but quickly retracted it back into her lap for the fear of having to explain what a handshake was.

"I will be sixteen years old in M- soon. Very soon. You can call me an adolescent, if you don't understand how long a year is."

"Of course we understand how long a year is. We arent stupid."

Violet would scoff as she crossed her her petals together stubbornly. "A country? Why they have those there too? Amazing!" Lily would giggle in a bubbly manner "You will be sixteen? My you're quite young to be travelling around such a place on your own like this Alice." Rosey would say in a worried tone of voice. Just behind them there was a neigh of a horse along with the ground slightly shaking. "Oh great the queens soldiers. They probably saw the door fly away." Violet would mutter in distaste.

"What do we do with Alice? She cant close like us..."

Lilly would say as she looked among the group. "Why should we save her its not our problem!" Violet complained before she closed herself up, giving the appearance that she has yet to bloom. "Alright Alice, i'm going to have to send you off. Just follow the stone path into the forest and be careful. Try to find the Caterpillar, he'll answer your questions and decide on what you should do. Now hurry!"

And with that Rosey and the other flowers were pushing her off into the deep mushroom forest.

Alice nodded back towards the rose- as well fearful of the approaching horses as the other flowers. The girl turned her back on them, casting a thankful nod back towards the maternal Rose, then receded back into the forest. Her shoes made a satisfying click against the stone as she walked forward, and she wondered if she should take them off if they would attract attention to herself. The girls shrugged the thought off, instead continuing onward.

( so sorry for the lack of length- I was not sure what to do next cx )

There was some type of sweeping noise that was a head of Alice. It was a broom standing on its own. Each brush it made against the concrete path it disappeared into this air leaving nothing but dirt and grass. It was literally sweeping the path away. When it had came in front of Alice it simply went around her, continuing to sweep away. There were a lot of strange sounds in the forest. Unknown creatures howling and chirping strangely. Just then the rumbling sound had began again the dark neigh of horses were coming closer and closer.

Just then Alice was snatched away from the path and hidden behind a large black tree, an index finger was placed on her lips indicating for her to stay quite as the fleet of horses with armoured card men rode by, one of them carrying Violet who looked like she had been brutally ripped from where she was planted. When the men were all away and the rumbling was distant the boy let go of Alice and starred down at her. He was very pale in comparison and was a bit taller then Alice with longish light tan hair. You would think he was human if it wasnt for the bright red eyes and metal battle axe he had in his other hand.

"You shouldnt walk around with such noisy company." he said pointing down to her footwear.

(Its fine. ^^ )

Alice continued to walk onward- feeling lighter on her feet but the noise resonating throughout the silent forest nevertheless. The silence was broken, however, in the next few seconds as an upright broom with an invisable master sweeping up the stone road in front of her. She gaped, her eyes nearly bulging out of her sockets. Before she could say anything or investigate further, the girl was snatched into the arms of a stranger.

"Pardon me!"

She exclaimed, looking up at the figure with wide eyes.

The male let go of Alice at her exclaim. "Sorry...didnt think you would want to be trampled by horses.." he said stepping away from the blonde girl, looking at her quite curiously as he circled around her. "You arent from Underland are you? You must be the girl that came through the door with the rabbit.." he said with a small smile creeping on his lips. "I assume you're trying to find the caterpillar Absolem since you were following the path." His red eyes shifted to where the path once was. "There's a shortcut." he reached a hand out, his fingertips glowing a light green. Infront of them a path made of vines and small flowers grew through the mushroom forest.

"Follow that path and you should run into a lot of colored smoke. That is where you should find Absolem."

Alice bore her eyes at him, an action that her mother had always shunned and deemed dis-ladylike. The girl sighed heavily, trying to rid her mind of the extra dose of adrenaline that had coursed through her veins due to being snatched from utter silence by a complete stranger. This stranger, it seemed, that had probably saved her life, was now asking her to bestow her trust in him; following the path that he had indicated. Alice shook her head, her blonde curls making a rustling noise across the surface of her frock.

"With all respect, sir, but may I ask, how can I know what you are saying is legitimate? I have experienced enough already, and am absolutely one hundred percent sure that I am not up for more shenanigans. I would just like to leave this.. This.. Underland and go back to England where Mother and the rest of my family resides. I will not trust you at first sight, sir. Good day."

The girl stated, turning away from the black tree and back onto the previously erased path- setting her direction forward and continuing to walk along the dirt.

The male continued to smile at Alice even though she had just ranted him off. "Legitimate is such a strange word.." he said to himself as he watched her walk off onto where the path once was. "Bye Alice!" he called kindly, strange how he knew her name even though she never told her.

The rest of the walk was mostly silent and dark, nothing else to disturb her and her walk. After some ways the fog in the air turned more into smoke, different colored smoke at that. The source was coming behind a few trees, a blue caterpillar sitting on a mushroom smoking through a hooka pipe as if it were a casual evening and right next to that mushroom was a path made from vines and small flowers.
