Alerts not working

I have noticed since the big change that alerts on my game aren't going out, and as a consequence the game is slowing down dramatically. I've had players say things to the effect of 'sorry! I didn't get an alert for new posts!' I have also had players comment that their other games aren't alerting either.


The point: Is this fixable? If it is, how do we fix it?

There is nothing wrong with the alert system.


If you get an alert and then never visit the thread it came from, it doesn't keep sending alerts.


Make sure you are also watching the forum and or thread(s).

I find that if you don't go to a thread that the Alert system has flagged and you stop getting alerts, go to the forum the thread is in and unwatch it. Then rewatch it again and your problem should be solved.
