Lore and such for the world Akarea is situated in! Given the open nature of the roleplay, and that I am allowing other players to write their own lore for the story, provided it doesn't overwrite what is already made (without prior discussion)

Dunedain, the name chosen by the Gods upon it's creation, is a great continent of fantastical creatures and magic. It is not uncommon for even the lowliest of human serfs to possess some degree of magical talent. Inhabited by all sorts of races alongside the humans. Elves, dwarves and beastmen are common place in much of Dunedain's more temperate cities. Those creatures of Greenskin descent are rare in civilized locales, seen as they are as being brutish, evil and cruel. And thats not to mention all sorts of other, rarer species, and the wholly evil monsters across the land.
The northern reaches of Dunedain are primarily inhabited by the sterotypical blonde-haired barbarian Humans. The western mountain ranges are the ancestral home of the Dwarves, while the Elves of the west tend to be sea-faring folk, and have colonized a few of the islands there.
The one place however, that the good folk of the lands have not ventured to, is the southern reaches of the continent yet. Far too many monsters and horrors lurking around those parts, and not to mention to largely unknown jungles of the lands. Until a rather rich entrepreneur had chosen now to invest in settlement efforts. With his coin, he was able to fund an expedition to the south, and start up the furthest south settlement, Akarea. Hopefully this one wouldn't be overrun by monsters and other misfortunes. Like the last ones.
