    Welcome to character creation, one of my favorite parts of an RP! Please read the World/Lore page before creating your character and don't forget to review the template tab for information your CS needs to include.

    Please try to be creative and original. No perfect Mary Sue's or completely finished characters. Leave lots of room for growth and learning! You may discover things about your own character that you didn't even know when you first created it. That's the fun in it.

    If your character is a mute, there are 2 things you will need to include in your CS that a human character will not need (in Mute Pack and Background.)

    Monarcho Mongoosen:
    Monarcho Mongoosen come from Mongoosen and inhabit high rises and their surrounding alleyways. Their social structure is a modern monarchy with a queen at the top of it all. Their style is a counter-culture style inspired by hard rock. As a general rule, Monarcho Mongoosen take on certain roles of justice. Specifically, they focus on opposing bullies. Not because they care about the little guy, but because they hate bullies. Their are multiple occupations within the Mongoosen social structure, but the Sentinels are the ones that go out and take an active role in enacting justice.

Mute Pack: Aes’Vrehnsh, more commonly called "The NightStalker Guild". It's a bounty-hunter/assassin group that values family and secrecy above all else. Generally, they dress inconspicuously, most individuals holding their own style depending on their values, but all of them dress in dark colors and have the signature marking somewhere on their clothing at all times.

Primarily, the Guild is full of predatory birds and megabats, though some can get testy, their guildleader—Garnet—keeps the peace... by being absolutely terrifying.

The Guild is bent on keeping the world semi-stable. If there's one pack that risks being wiped out, they help that pack back on their feet. They're very much a neutral party, tending to observe instead of aggress. For the most part, they don't mess with others so long as they aren't bothered or no one's in danger of extinction.

Species: Fish Owl (kinda. I messed with the colors, but honestly, AoWB can't say much because its hummingbirds are like... flatcolored.)


THE INSIDE
Strengths (to be added to):

-(Technically a neutral, but eh) Generally very open with his personality when not under an alias.
-Depending on the issue, either a very good communicator or a very bad one. Generally, though, he's a good one.
-Often very calm even under stress.
-Very, very patient.

Flaws:

-Logic takes a backseat to emotions.
-Much stress.
-Very strong morals that tend to get him almost killed on a regular basis.
-Self-preservation? What's that?


Survival Skills:
Jet is a very good cook, and not adverse to eating plantlife, though, he does need a lot of protein.
He flies. This is a great help in avoiding things.
Decently good at avoiding others.
Very good medic, especially for the surface.
Stealth is his thing.
Fairly good with working with whatever he has on hand.

Background:

Jet was born into the Guild... kinda.

He was more like... kidnapped, but we're ignoring that, considering the people the Guild kidnapped him from were about to try and fry his egg. As it turned out, Fish Owls were critically endangered. So, they kept him.

He grew up learning valuable skills and picking up cooking along the way because no one in the guild can cook. He learned medicine from reading. A lot. Something he still does.

Presently, he's laying low after a bit of a scuffle with another Pack, and will assist the humans because humans are technically endangered on the surface, he's curious, and... well... he still can't leave well-enough alone.

Others:

Main weapon: Solid metal quarterstaff. 8ft long and engraved with intricate markings. When one fades, he adds another.

THE INSIDE
Strengths:
-Neutral until swayed otherwise.
-Prioritizes survival over emotion.
-If they must, Flame will adjust some to fit others' personality.

Flaws:
-A bit of a pyroma—okay, a lot of a pyromaniac.
-If an expression can make the emotion distain into a poison, they'd be the one to do it. They don't like people.
-Horrible at explaining their thought process. (A to D to F not A B C)
-Can't stay focused on something they find boring if said boring thing may come to bite them in the ass.
-Curses. A lot.
-Very... waspish when they feel the slightest bit threatened or uncomfortable.
-Very much not a team player.
-Once you break their trust, there's no getting it back.


Survival Skills:
-Excellent climber.
-Very crafty.
-Good at mimicking nonhuman things... such as a distant mega call.
-Can make fire from scratch.
-Can fit into small spaces they should not be able to fit in.

Background:

Arias' life was fairly uneventful leading up to being chucked out onto the surface. They didn't really get too notable grades because they didn't pay too much attention, being honest. Though, the one thing people may have known them for was the creation of clawed gloves that allowed them to indulge in a bit of a secret passion; bouldering. They enjoyed climbing free of the harness and were very good at it, to the point that if they did have the harness, they'd mess up their balance.

They never really knew their parents, and they don't really care that they didn't know. They're in the burrow somewhere, but it never really got to them.



Others (TbA):

-They claim people have rhythms to how they interact, how they live. It takes a while for them to assign them, but once they do, they take great comfort in humming the assigned "tune" of the people they consider close enough to enjoy the company of.
-Kinda like if you slapped a bat and a cat into one entity.
-Very good with rope-based weapons; ropedarts, chainwhips, etc.
-The choker around their neck is only a chain at the moment.
-Very sensitive to light because... y'know, they grew up in a cave. Probably in the darker parts of the cave, too.
-Not very good with touch, either. They don't like physical contact too much, and are touch-starved to a mild degree. Physical contact feels weird to them, and their reactions are usually adverse.
-Not very good with dealing with emotions. Or Stimuli in general.

*Mute Pack: harloteck his pack resembles oversized bipedal komodo dragons in physical appearance, they usually wear scraps of metal and carry strange weapons made of whatever scrounged materials they can find preferring the comfort of tangled leftover human cities to any other location. Their acute sense of smell has turned to a somewhat culinary route despite the sacristy of food. any they do find will usually end up as a fairly passable meal at least to them

THE INSIDE
Strengths:
fairly kind individual
rare for him to react in an outwardly aggressive manner preferring a more diplomatic approach
generaly willing to listen to what other have to say unless its a matter of culinary conversation
Flaws:
often slow to react and overthinks things
due to having lizard ears, his earing is poor
his calm demeanor goes out the window when food is involved usually becoming excitable and possibly violent

Survival Skills: can essentially turn anything edible into a stomachable meal the taste, however.. may not be the best but he certainly won't kill you. Along with this harloteck is adept at finding said edible things aside from this he’s an amateur scrap tinkerer putting together old bits of metal that generally don’t do anything or sometimes work as cooking equipment.

*Background: the reason harloteck left his back doesn't exactly have anything grand or unusual about it. he just decided to go out for a walk one day as was acceptable and wouldn't be returning for a while common for such mutes as searching for stuff took them far away from their homes.. harloteck had decided to help the humans because he liked the look of the metal things they had... basically, that's it.

Strengths:
Crafty - Lake is quite crafty, often finding ways to sneak her way out of situations. She has a knack for talking and tricking people into doing things.
Brave - Lake is incredibly brave, having grown up on the surface world she knows what to look out for. She can sometimes be too brave however.
Quickwitted - Lake is a decent strategist when she can stop herself to think things through. Unfortunately she doesn't stop much.


Flaws:
- Arrogant, can often too quick to put herself into situations and easily gets provoked into situations.
- Disloyal, Lake often turns tail as soon as a better opportunity shows itself, she isn't good at making and staying with friends.
- Terrible Stamina, Lake gets tired more easily than others, this is due to her spending less time playing with other kids during her childhood.

Survival Skills:
Eidetic Memory - Lake remembers almost everything she sees quite well and can recall details with striking accuracy. Sometimes however her memory fails her which causes her to get quite upset when she manages to somehow forget a detail.

Good Fighter - Lake is quite good when it comes to fighting, often getting into scuffles with other kids who wouldn't leave her alone.

Inventor - Lake likes to try inventing things, sometimes they work, sometimes they fail. She once made a gun that shot flares that only worked for 3 shots before exploding.

*Background:
For as long as Lake could remember, she's been surviving on the surface world. She's had alot of rough run ins with mutes, sometimes positive and sometimes negative. She's never had too many friends, often preferring to survive only on her own. She grew up wandering the surface world, and learned to have an appreciation for invention when she had got caught by Mod-Frogs and had to build an explosive to free herself. She later found an old book about a male detective named sherlock holmes which made her want to be like that. She since didn't quite identify as female, and dislikes being referred as so.

Description: Holds a mask looking like a head of a kitsune, as well as a sword and necklace with a small feather, small rabbit's foot and a small shark tooth. The Feather represents life and air, giving him the ability to shapshift into anything he wants. The rabbit's foot is a sybmol of luck and the shark tooth is the symbol of strength, giving him strength. He wears a gray sweater and black fleece pants.

Species: Human/Kitsune hybrid



THE INSIDE
Strengths: Positivity, The shark tooth (because strength- imma go now) and knowing his dead family is by his side. Always and forever.

Flaws: He vents about his past and dead family, he feel's he's not enough, and when the sword, mask and necklace are removed from him, his courage, bravery and soul goes with them.

Survival Skills: He's good at tracking, he has very good eyesight for that and he also has a good ability to camouflage/blend in with his surroundings.

Background: He started off A young boy, born in Tokyo, Japan. He and his family went to a museum one day, and Lars parted away from the group. He found the kitsune mask, and his brother came up to him, he stared at it too. Soon his whole family was admiring it. An alarm went off, and 3,4,5 men come running up the stairs with rifles and pistols in hand. His father slid him under a big piece of art, as he watched his family get bullets through their skulls. The museum closed, and he took the mask and sword with him. He ran. Far, far away. He realized he was being foolish. After checking inside the mask and finding a necklace, he finds all 3 items and powers up.

Others: He be sensitive and has ADHD- it's not severe though.

    Fluttering Finders

    A loosely organized band of crows, the Finders are often distinguished by their patchwork traveling clothes and their oversized backpacks. They can often be seen, traveling either alone or in large murders, picking through ruins and dilapidated structures throughout Polis, hoping to find something to add to their vast collections. The Finders have an odd sense of value; they are keen on shiny items such as coins or unique knickknacks, but seem to have little understanding of economics. Though quite protective over their sentimental goods, the feathered creatures have no qualms about sharing loot too plentiful for one to carry alone, and many necessities are shared in common atop one of the group's many Roosts.

    It is not uncommon for a Finder to be hired by a poor soul who has lost some personal item, though care must be taken to ensure the crow doesn't become too infatuated with the trinket they were asked to retrieve. They don't take kindly to being cheated, and while one Finder is usually crafty enough to pose a threat, a murder of them is a fearsome sight indeed.
