Hayden
The flicker of her tail amused the man, he was getting under her skin. Dare he press her further? He might ends up with a few extra scars. Just as he was enjoying himself, her explanation ticked him. Normal? That's what she craved? Normalcy was so far off the scale of things these days. Just what was normal? His hold on her tail became firmer, his gaze now focused on her struggle to keep the bandages in their place.
"Stop running away! What are you afraid of? Who cares about belonging, just be yourself."
His voice was becoming more of a deep growl, and even if she wouldn't look at him, he would fixate his eyes on her.
"I think you are fine just like this."
Hayden wasn't much into these type of conversations. He couldn't be comforting without a harsh edge to his voice. Releasing her tail, the wolf swished his tail irritably. Leaning over he took the tip of her ear between his lips, nipping the delicate skin.
"Stop saying things that tick me off."
The fact she wouldn't stare at him directly ticked him off even more. He moved away from the girl and slipped his shirt back on. Glancing back at her he mused,
"And I almost thought I'd finally be able to witness what's underneath all of those bandages this time."
His usual smirk returned, as he silently wondered if Vera would scold him for having a little more fun today. He could be careful...couldn't he?

Iris
How can he smile so easily. Humans always greet each other that way don't they?
Giving a gentle smile of her own, Iris offered,
"You shouldn't let your sister leave her hair like that. It'll ruin its beauty."
Her words were more or less laced with a faux gentleness. Not that one would notice. Pulling out a silk handkerchief she handed it to Srion. Facing Seron again she nonchalantly tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear and added,
"Where were you two headed? Maybe I could accompany you?"
If she wanted a solid alibi, she would have to make a stronger effort.
