Sakura was quite concerned having a maid come along with. Sure it seems she was going with Megumi, which means two other guardians will look over her but she just hope she wouldn't hold anyone back. 'But who am I to disagree with the princesses.' Sakura thought to herself and put on a smile. "The more the merrier." She said and then gave Cadence a small nod before the princess went off to grab some things from her room.


Sakura didn't mind waiting for the princess, and enjoyed doing so because she was able to take in the elegance of the castle she stands in. The high walls, huge beautiful windows that probably showed the entire kingdom! 'To live in a place like this.' Sakura thought to herself and let out a small dreamy sigh. Sakura shook away her thoughts when Cadence returned downstairs, proclaiming she was now ready to go. "Alrighty! Oh, I forgot to mention! Princess Cadence, the second-in-command of the Guardians, Roy Wright, will also be accompanying us after he finishes some other businesses." The fox girl proclaimed and hit her head a little. "My humble apologies for forgetting such information." Sakura said with a bow. Once Sakura came up from her bow, she turned toward the door and smiled. "Now, with further ado, let us go."

Blair rolled her eyes at Revan and stood up to brush off the dirt. "Alright, Alright. Back to Captain mode. You might end up with Sakura for this mission sis. we'll probably be in a somewhat large group if they stick together for this journey." Revan's little sleep made Blair look at him with a knowing look in her eyes. She pushed forward to lead her little group to directly to the room where Megumi and Cadence were located. As soon as she reached the door she opened it without knocking. Blair is fully aware of the protocol for interaction with royals and the manners that she is suppose to uphold but, she doesn't care. "Me~gu~mi. We're here to escort you and your sister to the human realm," Blair sang out loudly. She knew that Megumi wouldn't mind her behavior at all because she was use to it at this point.

Megumi ignoring total protocol for royalty interaction, didn't even knock on the door for permission to enter. Blair let herself be known to Megumi and her sister Cadence. This moment right is what Revan waited for. He hadn't seen Megumi in months, damn near almost half a year. His heart was beating out of his chest so fast he swear people could hear it. Stepping out from where Blair was standing, Revan pulled out the book he got for Megumi and handed it to her. "It's been forever. I got this for you, Megumi."

A young blonde haired lady is seen running down the hallway of a hospital. Many nurses and doctors are running about, trying to rush as many patients as they can to the emergency room. After the announcement of an airliner crashing in the Los Angeles airport, a wide spread panic occurred across the whole city. The hospital was flooded with people left and right. The lady struggled to get pass the massive crowd of people so she could reach the front desk. A desk manager immediately attended to her "Hello Miss, how may I he-" but before he could finish, she immediately started shouting "Where are the survivors of Germanwing Airliners?! I need to get there! NOW!" she exclaimed while trying her best to hide her worried expression. "Yes, we are doing our best right now to help the survivors of the crash. Please take a seat and we wi-" however he was interrupted by her fists slamming on the desk. "No! You have to let me see my son NOW! It's Important!" she cried out with tears flowing from her eyes dripping onto desk. "Miss please, we are doing the best we can and seeing him right now will not help the situation. Please take a sit and I'll be with you in a moment." he said as he rushed over to doctor who was pushing a patient with other doctors to the emergency room.


The lady took a seat next to the other worried sick families and people who had the same dire expression as she did. She continued to sit with her face in her hands hoping that her son is alright. As time passed on, families teared with grieving news that their loved ones have passed away. Children cried as they left the hospital. Husbands and Wives walked away with horror in their faces. Soon after many hours, the lady was the only person left. A doctor approached her slowly as he took his glasses with a small frown on his face. "Mrs. Clarkson I presume?" he asked in a depressed tone. The blonde lady slowly uncovered her face while also trying to wipe off the tears on her face and looked up at the doctor.

She asked the doctor in a sorrowful tone "H-How is my son?...." The doctor sighed and looked at her with the same grief in his eyes "He's alive but...you should see him for yourself" he replied as he led the lady down the hallway down to room where she stared behind the glass in horror. The young boy was in a bed with bandages wrapped around his burnt face and it appeared that all of his limbs have been dismembered. The lady clapped her mouth in horror as her eyes widened. "Your son was the only one who survived the crash however he has lost most of his nerves and is unable to feel, see or hear anything anymore...I'm sorry." he expressed in a regretful tone. "H-Horatio..." she said as Mrs. Clarkson entered the room only hearing the sound of the heart monitor beeping and sound of her son struggling to breathe.

As she approached him, all she could do is cry by his bed side. "Horatio....I'm so sorry....please forgive me....I'm...so....sorry....." she mumbled along with the stream of tears flowing from her eyes. As she continued to cry away the night alone next to her son.


It's been 3 days ever since the crash. You can Mrs. Clarkson and another man arguing about something as they walk across the hallway followed by some scientists. "Mrs. Clarkson, I do not understand why you've called me at a time like this furthermore you're demanding access to Verif Industries's highest grade of augmentations?! What is the meaning of this?!" he asked in frustration as they continued walking down the hall way. "It's a matter of life and death itself, Mr. Verif, all I'm asking is that I have access to the blueprints and files on the augmentations that the company has to offer." she exclaimed as they finally reached their destination in front of a room. "Still, I know you are one of the company's most important scientists but what you are asking is absolutely...unreasonable...." he stopped his words as he saw what was inside the room.


Horatio lied inside the room still conscious but in a severe condition. Mr. Verif closed his mouth in shock when he saw Horatio. "Please Mr. Verif....I'm begging you....he's all I have....please save him....it's all I'm asking you...I'll do ANYTHING but please...just save him..." she begins tearing up a bit. Mr. Verif looked at Mrs. Clarkson and then back to Horatio "Listen...the kind of augmentations we would have to use to save your son would go beyond the company's expenses and even if we did have the money to cover it...we still have not perfected the technology to reach this kind of level yet..." he explained.


"Actually sir there maybe one thing that might work..." said one of the scientist which made both Mr. Verif and Mrs. Clarkson to turn around and face him "You don't mean...?" he asked "Yes, I do...." the scientist replied to him. "No, anything but that...it's only in an experimental phase plus it's too dangerous." he replied. Mrs. Clarkson looked at Mr. Verif "What is he talking about?" she asked curiously. Mr. Verif sighed while placing his head in his hand. "Ugh....alright...I didn't want to resort to this but..." he took out his smartphone while looking through some files and showed Mrs. Clarkson a metallic like skeleton body. "About 2 years ago, DARPA assigned Verif Industries with creating a new kind of prosthetic augmentation that would be able to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of soldiers on the battlefield." Mr Verif explained. "We called it the Hybrid Unit, it would be able to replace the skeleton of any human with a much more efficient magnesium based alloy endoskeleton that increases the strength, speed and durability of any soldier. Combined with synthetic muscle and skin, this was the crowning achievement of Verif Industries. "If this augmentation was so powerful then what happened to it?" she asked. "None of the test subjects survived the modification process." he explained. "We don't know why but the brain and organs seem to reject the mechanical augmentation thus causing some kind of brain stroke." Mrs. Clarkson looked at him and back to Horatio who was lying in his bed helpless. "I'll take it." she said in a firm manner.


Mr. Verif looks at her with shock in his eye "Are you sure?! After everything I've just told you, you still want to go through with this?" he asked her. Mrs. Clarkson looks at him with determination in her eyes. "I have never been more sure in my whole entire life Mr. Verif." she said "I rather have a long shot than no shot at all!" she exclaimed with a fierce tone in her voice. Mr Verif could not believe what he is hearing. "Alright...give her the contract." he said to one of the scientist.


The scientist pulled up a digital contract on her iPad and handed it to her. "Once you sign here, your son will be able to receive the augmentations however once he does he will be sent to serve the U.S military once he has reached eighteen. Do you still want to go through with this?" she asked Mrs. Clarkson. She looked at her and back to the contract and finally signed it. "Here, it's done." she said as she handed the contract back to her. The scientist looked at Mr. Verif and nodded.


A few hours later, Horatio can be seen lying on the operation table next to his new body. A group of surgeons can be seen surrounding his body. "Is everything ready?" the surgeon asks. "Yes it is" said another. "Alright, let's begin the operation and be careful." said the main surgeon who begins injecting the anesthesia into his body. Soon the surgeon begins operating on the head and cutting it wide open. The surgeons begins to work on the brain by implanting metal plates that allow transfer to the new body. Soon the brain was surgically successful integrated into the new body along with some of his other remaining functioning organs. Muscles were attached though sewing and they were applying the synthetic skin around the whole body.

The surgeons were preparing the final touches on Horatio's new body. As they continued, more adjustments were made to ensure the safety and success of this transplant. The eyes were being installed along with other software needed to run the whole body. Soon it was done and Horatio was completed.


It's been a few hours ever since the operation has taken place. Horatio lies on a bed with his new body completely different from how he looked before. Now with teal eyes and dark gray hair. Mrs. Clarkson and Mr. Verif look at Horatio in silence while both hoping for the best.


However out of the blue, Horatio slowly opens his new eyes unaware of the situation that he is in. Mrs. Clarkson and Mr. Verif both look at him in total shock. "H-Horatio?....." she said slowly. Horatio looked at her with a stoic expression. "Mom? Is that you? What happened?" he asked in confusion. Mr.s Clarkson immediately hugged Horatio tightly while crying tears of joy with a relieved smile on her face.


Present Day

Horatio got out of bed after watching the window for 5 minutes and approached to do his daily routine. Take a shower, put on his outing clothes and prepare to eat a quick breakfast consisting of orange juice and eggs in a nest. He found it quite delicious despite being so simple. He looked around and saw a note on the fridge.





"Hey Honey! Mommy's going to be home very late tonight. Don't worry! Lunch and Dinner are in the fridge next to the jello compartment! I hope you well sweetie and stay out of trouble!"

Horatio looked at the note with the same stoic expression and begins to clean up before heading back upstairs. Usually Horatio would go out the front door and take a walk but today is no ordinary day. Today is summer and that means a whole month's worth of doing almost anything and Horatio loved nothing more than parkouring through the buildings during the morning.





"Looks like a clear day today." he said to himself as he opened the window and climbed out onto the roof. He begins to smell the fresh morning air with a curious thought. He then begins to jump from roof top to roof top after spotting the same girl again that lives near him. He noticed that she's been looking at his house for some time and assumes it's just a coincidence, unaware of her true intentions. He continues jumping from house to house while performing back flips and front flips before jumping to a nearby metal pole and sliding down to the ground as he continues to run to the park by jumping over the fence and looking at the fountain. It was pretty early so there wasn't anyone around here.





"Everything seems normal so far" he thought to himself as he picks a small flower from the ground and smells it.

Megumi's face lit up at the idea of Ciri tagging along. The girl worked so hard with little breaks that she truly deserved one. Plus it'd give her a reason to learn more about the fellow bunny. On top of all this Cadence seemed just as eager to allow her to tag along, making the experience that much better. "Yes, please come with Ciri. You'll make everything so much better!" She said happily, her hands clapping together. This expedition was getting better by the second. Her red eyes looked to her wonderful sister as she exclaimed that she needed to grab something of hers. "Have a safe trip to your room." Not long after Cadence left the sing song voice of Blair filled the room as she made her way inside. Obviously the way that she introduced herself was very unprofessional and silly, Megumi loved it. People needed to act more like Blair. Formalities were ok, but they weren't always necessary. However what really surprised her was when are an walked in behind her. They boy, or rather man now, hasn't seen her in the longest time. The two used to stick together always, but due to his job he got seperated. Before she could run to hug him the guard was already in front of him. From behind his back he pulled out a book and handed it to her, which she eagerly took. The ever spring of love. "Oh Revan you're so sweet, thinking about me while you've been away!" She said happily, giving him a kiss on the cheek before pulling him into a hug. "You even got my favorite genre of book, romance! You really do know me... I've missed you a lot."

Revan was not expecting the reaction he got from Megumi. She then embraced him in a hug which he responded by squeezing her, as if she was about to fade away forever. It felt an eternity.. before he felt something soft on his chest, glancing down he saw CLEAVAGE. Tearing his eyes away before Megumi could notice, he blew into her one of her bunny ears, which he knew from experience annoyed her, but he liked to tease her. Somehow still embracing her, said,"That's for all of the time missed spending with you." Finally and regretfully, Revan let go of Megumi and said to her,"Your probably not finished packing yet huh. I know you Megumi, always last minute", smiling, Revan enjoyed this moment for all it was worth.

The reply from Vera earned another sigh. Thinking back to his previous actions this morning, a guilty laugh escaped his lips.

Well. Too late to not cause a commotion.

Hayden wasn't too concerned. He never was. Doing as he pleased was sort of the norm, and sometimes it earned him a harsh reprimand from the leader. Slipping the cellular device into his equally black jeans, the wolf didn't bother replying. She wanted him to be patient. He wouldn't complain. He could refrain from setting things on fire for her. Getting on her bad side never ended well. A range of voices could be heard from deeper within the ally, and his ears flicked to catch the waves. Black rings and dots ran along his ears, artful tattoos made to his liking. It appeared a robbery was taking place, that or rape? None of which he cared to involve himself with. Especially given his form. Until, a familiar scent reached his nose. Ignoring the bodies littered upon the ground, his eyes met with his artist. Just what did lay underneath all of the bandages? One might never know. Her voice remained casual, yet he assumed there was a bit of an accusing hint to her chords. None of which offended him, as it was entirely on spot.

"Nice to see you too."




He replied sarcastically. No reason to confirm her statement, as she already seemed quite confident in her words. Stepping nonchalantly over a body, he approached the girl, being sure to keep at least three feet between them. His figure towered over her, and his blood orange eyes scanned her own.

Equipped with a long black robe with sapphire blue trimming, the girl quietly passed by the royal castle. Infiltrating the royal castle wasn't entirely the easiest thing to do, and she was happy the task was not required of her today. Holding her breath she transformed herself into human form as she slipped into the portal.

Once inside the human realm she took a slow glance around herself. Nobody she knew seemed to be around. Not knowing if that was a good or bad thing, she took refuge in a nearby park. Unaware of the Augmented nearby as well, she flipped her phone open and began typing to an old friend of hers. Well, if you could call assassins friends. Using her alias...

Cadence FaunaWhen Megumi made no move to gather anything for the trip, she knew that her sister had no intentions of bringing anything at all. She was a bit offended when Megumi mentioned that she wasn't stupid as if Cadence would have thought that in any manner. It caused her to flinch slightly, more out of surprise than actual offense. Was it something she said? No matter how hard she tried, it seemed as though Megumi was going to be offended somehow by her actions.


Sakura's convenient exposition filled in the gaps she had in accordance with Megumi. So they were splitting up? She hadn't exactly pictured that they would, but the guardians seemed to have a schedule of their own anyway. Cadence had nothing against Sakura, but why was she the sole guardian for her, yet Megumi had two? Cadence never felt the need for their protection, but it seemed off that they would so something so peculiar. Upon second evaluation, it made sense to her. There was a good chance that she was simply not as well received as her sister. As many times as she had come to that conclusion, it never ceased to surprise her. She only wished she knew what made her so unlikable.


Ciri's offer to tag along was most likely meant for Megumi, as she was so clearly infatuated. It really had nothing to do with Cadence whatsoever, but she couldn't help but feel another pang. Sweeping it to the back of her mind, she smiled and stood up, hands claspeed to her front. "I think that's a wonderful idea. It could be like a day off for you!" she suggested, excited about the idea. Poor Ciri had been working hard that morning, and she'd already been terrorized by Mimi. It was only natural for her to finally get a day to herself, perhaps granted an excuse to do what she wanted to do the most.


"Sakura, if you wouldn't mind, I need to grab a few things from my room before I depart. I'll be right back," she said warmly, ducking out to head off to her room. Along the way, she continued to swell on the possibilities that might not even exist. In her mind, she almost knew that they weren't at all real, but she always seemed to rationalize them in some fashion. Once she entered the room, she slung the prepared backpack over her shoulder, pulling both arms through to secure her things.


Just before she left, she stopped and suddenly noticed her planter hanging outside of her window. After a moment's pause, she made her way over to it, looking down at the desolate detritus that covered the soil. Bringing in light from the outside, she sprinkled some rainbow over it all, bringing forth new life within its confines. Before long, the entire planter was covered in green, some vines growing over the side, and some stems coming forth. After a few moments longer, flowers bloomed in various shapes and colors, reminding Cadence of the beauty that exists in the world.


The ordeal brought a smile upon her face, though she herself was on the verge of tears. Without a thought, she blinked them back as she always did, then departed her room to rejoin the others. Once she arrived, she entered with a peppy presence and a smile strewn across her face. "Alright, I'm ready!" she announced, happy to go on their little surveillance mission. A day in a world where she was practically a nobody was just what she needed as a sort of 'day off.' Of course, she would be taking notes, but she considered it to be more of a leisure activity than anything.

Ciri smiled and nodded at Cadence, "Thank you very much." She replied. She'd wait until she got the okay from Megumi, but other than that she was excited to go. Who knows, maybe Megumi would fall in love with her or something. Or Ciri would at-least work up the courage to tell her how she felt. Either one would be good in her opinion, the former moreso than the latter. Cadence then left the room to go pack, Ciri would offer to help..but she had just gave her the day off after all. Though every instinct in her body told her to go help, she stayed there; primarily to make sure Megumi was fine with her going. When Megumi said she'd make the entire trip better she blushed slightly and smiled at her. "In that case I'll go for sure then. I'm glad you want me to come, I'll try not to get in the way." She replied cheerfully. So far, so good.


Blair soon enterred the room as cheerful as always, illciting a small giggle from Ciri. That girl was really nice to be around so far as a friendly person went. Even if she was the captain of the Guards she still wasn't super serious, which Ciri liked. Revan soon appeared, giving Megumi a book. Her features saddened visibly at the more friendly than usual reaction Megumi gave him. Well..there went any chances she had, if any at all. She sighed inwardly, maybe she was thinking the wrong thing. Maybe she had just actually missed him a whole lot and they were just friends. One good thing did come of this; her learning Megumis' favorite genre of book. Or rather, confirming it. When Cadence came back Ciri figured she should go pack a few things herself. "I'm going to go pack too. I won't take long. If you must go ahead to the portal and I'll meet you all there." She told them, doing her best to put on a false cheerful attitude. Walking out of the room she shot Revan a subtle glare and Megumi a hopeful look.


She wasn't just going to let some guy come in and steal Megumi away from her. Even if they weren't dating or she'd never had the courage to tell her how she felt, or rather that was the precise reason. Until she knew for certain she had no chance with Megumi she wasn't giving up. Nevertheless she soon reached her room and started packing a small suitcase for herself. Sure she could just draw clothes, but effort.

The twins made there way though the town stopping to get ice cream not to far from the park. Srion's idea of being out is just relaxing so looking at her ice cream she turned and looked up at her brother. "can we just sit and relax in the park for a bit?" She then looked over at it and pointed to a shady tree. "come on like when we were kids" After saying this she looked up at her brother who seamed to be thinking about it then sighed. "fine, fine then lets hit up the shopping center then to the diner I seen" He smiled down at her then started to walk into the park. Srion let out a small relieved sigh then walked behind him jogging a bit to get beside him. "what is your deal today you seam so...cheery" she asked taking a small lick of her cone. Soren shrugged. "dont know...maybe something will happen today" he smiled at her as they sat under the tree.

Risa looked down at her phone as she heard the familiar 'ding' of Hana responding, tapping the notification before her attention was brought back up to Hayden, staring at him coldly, "A new one, huh?~…." she mumbled, sighing, she knew he wasn't one to simply 'inquire' about things, "Sure…. whatever~…. just tell me where and what~…." she continued, "Oh, and make it a quicky~ I have more important things to do than entertain some lone wolf." she added, her glare just as cold as always, her tone dominant and leaving no room for argument as her hands began to blacken as though being inked with what appeared to be arrows. There were few people that would stand against Hayden from his personality alone, human or Kemonomini she'd seen them both back away at the mere presence of the rather 'wild' man…. But she wasn't one of them.

She looked back down at her phone and quickly began typing a reply after reading the message.

Unlike her younger sister Allie is a bit more quiet. She isn't the loudest, but if she really tries she can yell. Sometimes she can be assumed of being shy when really she just has a quiet voice. Allie is pretty confident in her self and her abilities. Sadly, when an important moment to her is about to happen she will think about it over and over again until she most likely decides against it. Rarely, she can let her jealousy control her and will go after Blair in rage and anyone who stands in her way.

The farthest memory Alyssa can recall is watching her parents train her younger sister, Blair. Allie always wanted to make her parents proud, but it seemed like they would always shrug her off because they were to busy training and awing in Blair's incredibleness. Allie knew that Blair was really good in almost everything she did and she wasn't going to deny that, but still she just wanted some attention from her parents to know that she was doing well. That never happened so most of her training she got was from her older sisters and sometimes even Blair! After a couple of years Blair became head guard around the same time Allie just became a new guard. She was happy that Blair her younger sister got to be captain, but she couldn't help but be a bit jealous of Blair's life.

Alyssa let out a breath of relief to be released from under Blair and be back on her own two feet. She then continued to follow Blair and Revan after hearing about that she was probably going with Sakura to gaurd Cadence. She might've not been with her sister but Sakura wasn't all that bad, for one she was the same kind of Kemonomimi as she was. And it's pretty fun to be around her, so it wasn't the worst, at least it wasn't with Revan. Don't get her wrong she was completely fine with Revan, but something about him always set her off.


After a couple of more minutes of thinking Blair had oppened the castle doors and introduced herself in the Faunas' presence. And some odd thing with Revan and Megumi happened about giving a romance book = a kiss on the cheek? Then Ciri left to go pack, basically leaving Allie to try and talk to someone. Allie cleared her throat and bowed to princess Megumi and then began to talk, "I'm here to help Sakura guard princess Cadence in the human world, but from what I can tell I'm too late for that." She said while realizing both of them were nowhere nearby and they probably already left seeing as they probably didn't know she was coming. Allie then continued bowing there waiting for more instructions until making any other movements.

Cadence Fauna

Well if nothing else, at least Sakura wasn't going to be the worst. She took a deep breath as Sakura beckoned her to follow to mentally prepare her for the journey ahead. Sure it wasn't that big a deal, but she hardly ever went to the human world, much less without Megumi. Before she left, she gave her sister a firm hug on the way out. "I'll miss you," she whispered briefly into her ear. She slipped Megumi a cell phone before breaking off to catch up with Sakura.


"Alright, well it looks like it'll just be us two. It looks like they're catching up," she observed as she tagged along Sakura. She was at least somewhat excited to go on a sort of adventure, or at least what she considered to be one. Sure it might not be all that glamorous, but at least it was something different.Cadence knew very well that she needed something different in her life.

Sakura stopped in her tracks for a minute, surprised to see Blair and Revan enter the castle. 'I thought they were going to the portal.' She thought to herself. Sakura shrugged off the thought, happy to see that they would all be going into the portal not to far behind one another. She looked over at Allie who has proclaimed that she will be joining her and Cadence. "Alright then Allie, welcome aboard! We're leaving out right now just to get a head start of things." Sakura replied to the purple feline girl with a smile. She turned to the princess with a chuckle, "Looks like it's now the three of us." Then with a wave goodbye to Blair and her group, she continued her way to the portal with Cadence and Allie.


"So are you guys excited to go to the human world?" Sakura asked trying to make conversation since the walk to the portal was a pretty lengthy one from the castle. She was never a fan of silent walks, even by herself she needed to hum a little tune or something. @Kazehana @CellistCat606

Noah heard the statement that entrance was granted and opened the door, all but shoving the helpless human through the door as soon as it was open. He was followed by others of the rebel faction, making sure the human didn't attempt escape. His cold, violet eyes quickly found their leader, "Mornin', Boss." he greeted, almost warmly, "Delivered as requested. Only slightly scuffed." he laughed, brgining the human forward. It was early, but Noah had always been an early riser, so he seemed bright-eyed and bushy tailed as normal.


His eyes glanced around at the others that had followed behind him, and a soft growl rumbled in his chest. "Get back to your jobs! I'm sure the Boss doesn't need all of us crowding her office!" he said in a deep timbre, almost an order. The group seemed to diminish quickly, and Noah turned his attention back to the lioness. "Need me to stick around, or is there something else you'd rather I do?" he asked, glancing at the human for only a moment. He had the itch, as he sometimes referred to it. The want to take action. Yet he knew they were under fire at the moment, and needed to lay low for a bit. So he settled with, as always, waiting to see what the leader of the group decided they do.

Ren's snippy attitude was typical of the girl. So much feistiness in a mere 15 year old. If there was any girl that grazed his ego, it wouldn't be her. Whatever. She was just a kid anyways. The wolf was ignorant to her little victory as she gazed down at the bright screen in her hands. There were two reasons the man bothered receiving tats. One was for the style, nothing could compare to the velvet art that marked him permanently. The second was probably the most important. That was, after having to remain in the human world longer than most (due to being part of the rebellion) Kemonomini, he was sick of being in a world he despised. Sick of forcing his ears and tail into submission, forced to feign being one of humanity. For Ren to use her Aura, she had to be in Kemonomimi form, which was something he longed for every now and then. Not her, but not having to hide who he was in front of someone. Running into one of his kind was rare in the human realm, and who would want to be wandering around in plain view as a Kemonomimi? Most were not that stupid. So, it was moments like this that meant the most to him.

Lifting the edge of his shirt up and over his head. Scars painted his body almost as much as the tribal tattoos did, reminders of much crueler fights one would assume, though half of them were nothing more than results of his sexual fantasies. Take that as you will.

Slipping her phone back into her pocket she sighed impatiently. She always made sure to follow rules from Vera. If they were supposed to lay low right now she would. Well, perhaps her attire was a bit more mystical than most humans would wear. Well, perhaps she could pass the cloak off as part of some cosplay? Scanning the area her eyes almost popped out of her head at the sight of an Augmented. Rage began to boil up inside of her, and she sat upright. Had she seen one up close before? Had she seen one at all? Weren't they simply a failed project? Running. Her body was moving without her content. Her eyes never left the image of the man, that is, until she crashed into two people.

"Ow..."

Her head spun a little as she gathered her ground again. Looking up, the Augmented disappeared from sight, and in his wake were two humans. Though the male looked a little familiar. A bit of rummaging in her subconscious she finally recalled his face. He worked at the same animal shelter she seemed to find herself at every now and then in the human realm.

"Uh....S...Sorbet...Soren!"




She seemed pleased with her feat of victory, regardless of the first mistake. Her eyes shifted to the female that remained by his side.

Girlfriend? But they look so alike. But they are so close...




"Sister?"




Was her best calculated guess in the end. Interacting with humans had not been in her agenda for the day, but it was happening.

Vera was thankful to see them enter, pausing in her pacing to see the rather frightened human thrown onto the ground before Noah ordered them away. Glancing at what appeared to be a young teenaged female in front of her, the lioness' tail swayed a bit more gently with her ears perked up a tad more. Changing her focus to her second in command for a moment, she replied in their tounge so the human wouldn't be able to understand. ["No, please stay. Sometimes their reactions are quite...priceless."] After she had finished speaking, the rebellion leader crouched down so she sat on her haunches similar to a cat. "Now..." She began softly, seeing as the thing was already pissing it's pants. "Why did you come near here? Everyone in the surrounding area knows that this is private property."


She gazed up at Vera with wide, tear stained eyes, more began to from as she tried to find her voice. "I-I-I took...a-a d...are fr-from a friend..." This was the most common answer the younger ones gave. "Why would you that...?" The lioness was being uncharacteristicly soft, which could've been see as odd in any other situation. "Th-they said that I-I wa...s empty...and that t-hey would..." She was cut off by more tears that erupted from her already red and puffy eyes. Frowning lightly, the inhuman the thought for a moment before asking "Was this person really your friend?" Amid the crying she shook her head. With a sigh the woman stood and walked over to her desk she grabbed two things. A box of tissues (it's been long enough she knew how to prepare) and a slip of paper. Quickly scribbling down something on the paper, she returned and gave both to the girl which she eagerly accepted. "Don't read that piece of paper until you get outside, alright?" She nodded whilst clear her face and eyes of all bodily fluids. Helping her up she was about to speak to Noah before the human ask. "Um...miss? C-can I touch your ears?" Casting her deputy an annoyed look she then continued. ["Take her to get her memory wiped of all the thing she has seen here except for the note."]

The man nodded, an almost wolfish grin on his lips, [They're always priceless. Especially when you change in front of them.] He responded in their special language. He shoved his thumbs into his pockets, and stepped to the side, finding a good place to lean against the wall and watch the goings on between Vera and the human. It was almost amusing how the woman was in tears from fear, yet for some reason took the tissues and note from Vera. Many times, they merely cringed away, or screamed, until after the leader sat there for several minutes waiting for them to realize that nothing was going to happen. He had to put a hand over his mouth to keep from laughing as the human asked about touching Vera's ears. It was common, especially when it was a female human that stumbled to close to them.


He shifted from his position, nodding, "As always." was his simple response to her order, knowing the human didn't understand what he had been told, yet clearly understood that it was something to do with her from his response. He walked back over to her, bending slightly to slide a hand under her arm and pulled her to her feet. Of course, he was much gentler this time around. "Come along, lass. I've something interesting to show you." he said lightly, giving the human girl a rather intimidating grin. He released his human form, feeling the usual pull of draining energy, I'll need to find something to eat once I'm done dealing with this girl. he thought silently to himself as a small sigh escaped him. His ears and long fluffy tail now visible, he rolled his shoulders and escorted the human from the room.


Once he was certain her memory was wiped clean of her trip into the warehouse, he had her deposited several blocks from their location, the note still firm in her grasp. Then he was back at the warehouse, and scrounging for a meal. After a time, he made several sandwiches, and carried the plate back up to Vera's office. He knocked on the door once more, and opened it up, "Hungry?" he asked with a laugh. He held the plate up like a server, his other hand already holding a sandwich for himself.

Risa's attention was brought once again onto the man as his shirt was lifted and he described the basics of what he desired, she gave a small nod before he made his next comment, hearing his snicker as he turned his head to look at her, tongue caressing his fangs. Risa's eyes turned silver, her hoodie having two triangles appear beneath its fabric and her tail sticking straight up, fluffed up as one would imagine in a comic of some sort, she hissed at him and edged forward a little like some angry cat of sorts before she tried her head away and the features casually re-hid themselves though still in kemonomini form, her tail simply wrapping around her waist like a cheetah-fabric belt, ears pushed down against head and almost unnoticeable under the thick fabric of the hoodie, her eyes still remaining as silver as the reflection of the moon in a pond.

She slouched back a little, "I-…. Haven't. And let me remind you I'm not on 'your side' I'm not on anyones side, not the kingdom, not the ravenclaws, not the guardians…. Your all idiots and wasting your time, at least in the human world-" she cut off her sentence, eye twitching slightly in an annoyed manner, "It doesn't matter okay, if I don't keep my appearance up people will get suspicious, what better way than tagging around some clueless moron who doesn't suspect a thing, a perfect alibi if you ask me." she added, glaring once again at him, "And may I suggest it's not the 'best' idea to aggravate the person who's about to stick thousands of tiny needles into you at high speeds?~ I can make this next tattoo as painful for you as however the heck you want it to be…." she muttered, her face tattoo's flickering around, Ren never seemed to fit in with ether species, Kemonomini…. Or human. She stuck out wherever she was and it wasn't just the bright blue hoodie and face tattoo's that made her do so. When you pictured a 'trouble child' she fit the description pretty darn well, she was quick to loose her temper, vicious and moody. Mix that together with a powerful aura and you had a ticking time-bomb on your hands, it was evident from seeing her in her true form that as tough as she acted, she wasn't the one really in control of her aura, not by far~…. an unusual trait for any of their kind, especially one as young as her.

Alyssa looked up to see that Sakura was there with Cadence behind her. The slits in her eyes got thinner from the sunlight somehow surrounding Sakura's head as if she was some kind of super hero. Allie then got up from the ground and waved bye to everyone with a warm smile. The slits in her eyes went back to normal after getting her eyes out of the sunlight. Allie looked at both of her swords she heald in her hands to make sure they were still there, yup, they are still there, she thought to herself in the silence with a smile. Allie then heard Sakura ask if we were excited to go to the human world, "I guess, I'm just wondering where I should hide my weapons so they aren't too far from reach, but not too noticable. How about you two?"

The twins normally could dodge people as they ran by, it was just a normal thing for them, but this time... "Srion have you been out of the apartment...." they both felt the hit in the crash as the girl ran into them. both were pushed flat on there bottoms but, with them holding ice cream Srion's came up and dropped on her head wile Soren's was tossed to the side. "Hey!" they both said this at the same time. Seeing the person as a familiar face Soren smiled then stood up and held out his hand to Iris. "hey! there its funny normally I only see you in the shelter" he smiled at her then looked over to Srion who was pouting over her ice cream in her hair. "yep! and wouldn't you believe she is my twin" He smiled down at her then tipped his head. "what is with the cloak?"

Hayden

An amused grin spread across his face at Risa's violent display. Yes, it was that very hiss that sent chills up his spine; of excitement and allure. The moment her ears popped into view his mood lightened further. However, her words more or less drew a line between them. As he was sure she was mostly speaking the truth, her reason for hanging around a human seemed suspicious. Just how close was she to this human? If one thing was certain, she held them at a more respectable distance than he. Narrowing his eyes slightly at her jab about the needles, he remained silent. True, it was hard to find any amount of pain excruciating enough to displease the man. But there was pleasure and there was death. Two very different topics and sensations there. There was a reason other Kemonomimi generally avoided Risa.

Letting her delve into her creative nature, he remained soundless until the last imprint. He didn't have to look at it to know it was beautiful. Everything Risa created was. Or was she deceiving him on some behalf of her full potential? Matter it not. Hayden received a new tat, he got to relish in his true form a little longer, he was pleased. But, not pleased enough. Turning to face the cheetah Kemonomimi again, he took in the sight of how she masked herself. Reaching up he pulled her bright hood back, allowing her ears to prop back up.

"Why do you enjoy hiding yourself so much?"

His question was genuine, did the female feel so alienated from her own kind that she actually felt more accepted in the human realm? He unwrapped her tail from her waist and began to caress it gently, nonchalantly, his eyes following the patterns of black upon it.​

So they were siblings after all, twins at that. Wasn't that rare in the human world? Twins? Iris thought she may have ran across it in a novel once. Focusing on the sweet treat, she almost missed Soren's question.

"Huh? Oh...er....cosplay?"

Her eyes shifted a little uncomfortably between the two. Hm. Should she be apologizing? To her they had obviously been onstructing her view from someone, something important. It was entirely their fault. Wasn't it?

"Erm. I can....I should buy you more ice cream...for your loss."

She cursed herself mentally for the kind words that had to be dragged out of her mouth. Soren was her alibi more or less, if someone were to direct suspicion to her, all he had to say was "Her? She has always been working at the animal shelter. A Kemonomimi? That's absurd!" Er, something like that. Therefor she had to become a model human, and that meant pleasing his sister as well.

Risa remained silent as she worked, not a peep nor even a ruffle of fabric was heard as she worked on Hayden's body as if was her own canvas, not a human body at all, despite her threats she would not sacrifice art for the sake of giving the man a taste of his own medicine. Once she was done she stood back, admiring it for a moment before seeming as though she was done with it entirely, over it and moved on, she didn't like the crude, disrespectful pyromaniac, but the art on his body was her own, and for that his presence was worth at least a little to her.

She could tell he hadn't bought her on the whole 'alibi' story completely, but nor did he catch onto her true intentions ether, it was a mutual suspicion, one of no danger to her and as such she didn't care much for the matter at the present time. As he reached forward and threw off her hood though her eyes widened briefly before they re-fixated into another cold glare- though this one more distressed, she shivered as his hands touched her tail, it was soft and silky and rather well-kept despite her seeming distaste towards the body-part, it flickered around in his hands but the girl was too distracted by covering the lower section of her face with her fore-arms, the bandages having loosened in the rather rough pull off of her hood, her eyes looking away from the man and instead fixating on the ground with a determined stare, "Because at least when I hide them…. I can pretend to be someone normal for a while…. Rather than someone who doesn't belong in ether world…." she muttered in barely a whisper, muffled and practically inaudible through her sleeves covering her mouth.​

Soren looked at Iris then laughed a bit. "never thought you would be into that and no its alright we shouldnt be eating it anyway" he said this then looked at Srion. "what do you mean! are you calling me fat?" Srion made a fist as she looked up at her brother angerly. she had gotten most of the ice cream out of her hair but it was still melting her hair together in places. Srion laughed as he put his hands up. "calm down, calm down" he laughed at her a bit firing her up more. Soren turned back to Iris and smiled. "anyway this is Srion" he smiled making her smack his arm for him ignoring her (which he ignored).

After Blair's fabulous entrance, she watched the little interaction between Revan and Megumi with interest. 'Wow. Even Revan has a better chance at a relationship than me. Damn. Oh damn I hope they won't be like this the whole trip,' she thought to herself. Blair leaned up against the door frame and happily waved at Allie on their way out while saving a slight shy wave for Sakura. She was quite embarrassed in front of her but knew that she honestly stood a chance. A depressed sigh escaped as her thoughts took that negative turn. Blair refocused on Megumi and Revan and made a gagging sound, "Alright love birds, let's get a move on. There will be plenty of time for this once we get to the human realm." She scratched behind her ear, it had been bothering her for awhile now but she had just ignored. 'Looks like I'll be spending most of my time with the little Ciri bunny.'

Amara sighing at her brother, before putting the pillow down and walking out of their room. The two sharing the room due to the lack of space in the apartment. The younger sibling started to braid his hair again, it was annoying when his classmates teased him for having it, but it was better than going to the barber shop. "Anyone who goes to a place where strangers put sharp scissors by their heads is asking for it..." He mumbled as he finished his braid, reaching down to his waist like this.


Nevan making his way out of the small bathroom, the only room in the apartment that actually had a door, everything else being connected including the bedroom, taking only a few skips to get to the kitchen where his sister was already preparing breakfast, making pancakes for today and of course... she pressed the word 'Midget' and other words teasing him about his height into the two pancakes with blueberries. "When I thought I finally won. I forfeit." He said, referring to the slight teasing they started the day off with, sighing while raising his hand up, waving it around like he was holding a white flag asking for mercy from her teasing for the rest of the day. Amara gave a nod as she accepted his forfeit. Nevan finishing up his insulting pancakes before going out. "I'll walk today alright?" the question more of a statement as he didn't give her a chance to respond.


He stared up at the sky as he walked out of the apartment complex, watching the floating fluffballs of clouds, no doubt thinking about the horoscope he had today. The light of the words on his 'old age' smartphone, 'Finding a new way to organize your stuff will be easy today. You've got all the creativity you need to see things in a new way, and you've got the time you need to figure out a better way to put things together. If things at your job or at school have been confusing you lately, you can figure out how to make them make sense again. You're coming out of the clouds, finally -- and while it might have taken longer than you wished, it is happening.' The horoscope replaying in his mind before it focused on clouds and began to think of the seventeenth great cloud war between the irregular clouds and the shaped clouds of animals. His imagination drifting him off somewhere...again.


This dazed state continued for a bit before he crashed into a wall of a small shop, falling backward in surprise and pain, "O-ow ow ow..." He hissed out as he pressed his hand to his head, looking at the building he crashed into. "Coffee is something people drink in the morning, I think it tastes sweet most of the time and has lots of sugar. I wonder why my sister never gave it to me." His eyes sparkling with joy and possibly a placebo sugar high. He walked through the front door, hearing the usually 'ding dong' of the bell signaling a new customer. Nevan looked up from the counter, his head just above it, seeing the employee behind it, probably daydreaming by the looks of it. He wasn't one to stop someone from daydreaming and it was unheard for him to stop someone daydreaming. The childish mind still thinking to treat others the way he wanted to be treated.
