Raisa ana'Marianna
Raisa smiled lightly, catching the small expression that showed the book was rather confusing. Then again, she didn't quite fully understand all the science mumbo-jumbo the authors put in those books either. "I must be getting back to the front desk. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to ask." She turned and started making her way back toward the main area of the library. Her gaze moving around the different tables and aisles of books, as she had trained herself. She noticed that there were several new faces, and silently hoped no one had needed her for anything important while she had been busy. Things seemed to be picking up in the library, and she needed to stay on top of her job.
Her eyes graze over a red headed girl sitting at one of the tables, fervently going over old newspapers. She partly wondered if she should inform her of the automated system they had for it, but figured she should have already known. Which left Raisa with the thought that she must just enjoy the physical pages. Which she could understand. There was nothing like the smell of ink and paper. A dark haired boy stood near her, they seemed to be talking. They probably came in together? She absently thought as she kept walking. She paused beside an empty table, lifting a book that had been carelessly left out, and sighed as she closed it and folded it into her arms.
She turned to return the book to the shelf where it belonged, passing closer to the table where a blonde girl sat reading a book on animals. She was careful not to disturb the girl, and returned the book she carried to its shelf before resuming her walk to the front desk. She took in a slow breath, and something caught her nose. Is someone smoking? she asked herself silently, her brows knitting together as she looked around. It was surprising the guy didn't seem to be hiding himself like the normal riff-raff that came inside to smoke. She usually found them in one of the bathrooms.
She approached the man, quickly reaching out to remove the cigarette from his fingers. "I'm sorry, sir. There is no smoking in the library. This is a smoke free building, and you must be at least fifty feet from each doorway if you want to smoke. I must inform you that if I catch you smoking inside again, I will have to ask you to leave the facility." she said in her best authoritative voice. She didn't like cigarettes, and she didn't like their smell. They were disgusting. She turned abruptly and rushed for the door, dropping the offending object on the cement so that she could press it out with her shoe before lifting the item and tossing it into a trash can.
