He has a hammer and a knife. Either could be used effectively for self defense.

No one is shipping Ronni harder than Hogan, if the two have ever met. He's an old fashioned dwarf and he would hound her non-stop about settling down with a nice dwarf and making lots and lots of little baby dwarfs. He might even try introducing her to several prospective suitors in hopes she would do just that.
