Name :Aegon Lannister (Formerly Taywin Lannister)
Titles : Lord, Captain
Gender : Male
Age : 33
Height : 6'0
Sexuality : Straight
Marital Status : Unmarried
Family : Formerly of the Lannisport Lannisters
Motto: Hear Me Roar!
Biography :
"Arrogant, pretentious, and hates his family" -Ser Lyle Hightower
Born in 212 AC to the Lannisport Lannisters, Taywin enjoyed the finer points of being a child of a Lannister. He had toys, servants, and the finest clothing money could buy. It seemed he was a naturally gifted rider, with the master-at-arms moving his training to specialize in Horse Warfare.
He grew up listening to the stories of old. Night after night, day after day of hearing 'We will rise to power again!' made him grow tired of his family.
On his Thirtieth birthday he reached a breaking point when rumors reached him that his family was going to rebel against the Iron Throne. Not wanting any of it, he rode into the night with his retinue and formed the Crimson Band. He left a letter to his family declaring his intent and signed it as such: Aegon Lannister.
Other :
Aegon was always a gifted cavalryman and decent with a Lance. While his swordsmanship is considered slightly above average he knows his place is on the back of his horse. While he doesn't consider himself apart of his family, his attitude certainly shows him as being one of them. Between the piercing green eyes, the blonde hair, and the way he presents himself, one would have no idea he's forsaken the family name.
Appearance:
:
The Crimson Band
Soldiers: 500 (200 Light Cavalry, 300 Heavy Cavalry)
Specialty: Calvary. A fair number in heavier armors but lighter-armed cavalry is also commonplace.
Origin: Westerlands, Most of the members of the band are former Lannister banner-men who rode with Aegon before the formation of the band.
Details: Called the Crimson Band due to the crimson bands they wear on their forearm to break the lines of their dark blue armor. They are extremely disciplined with only 5-10 men coming out of the screening process each recruiting week. Each man follows a strict code-of-conduct set down by Aegon, so they can be compared to a professional army in behaviour. The stringent discipline is well worth the pay though..
Current contract: -None-
Contract Cost: 200 Dragons a Month
Camp: Semi-permanent encampment along the trident.
