She dashed through the trees, her long legs carrying her swiftly along the rugged terrain. Her white leather boots stomped against the grass, leaving footprints that swiftly faded as the wind carried on through. Her hair was green, and her violet orbs scanned the perimeter for not only a threat, but her target. Her target, the beast the lovely woman had been sent to slay, was a mighty bear who was believed to have some sort of magical ability. However, what that ability was had been left out of her description.
A head popped out of her dirty green backpack, that of a small darkly colored dragon with a single eye. His eye flashed from bright yellow to red as he looked for heat signatures in the form of a bear and when he found one, he cooed nonsense to his master. As if the woman understood she drew her sword in a swift motion and leaned to aim her positioning west. Her feet became more silent, steps no longer accompanied by the sound of their thudding against the earth. As a skilled huntress, she was good at this. Onyx, her dragon, tucked his head back in and she leapt up into a tree. She easily identified the target, waiting for the perfect moment before she dropped down, rose her blade and pierced through it,s skull, killing the beast instantly. She wiggled it around to be sure and gave it a few more good stabs, getting blood all over herself as she did so. But she didn't appear to care much at all. She pulled out her weapon and seethed it. 'It's done, Onyx. You may come out.' She murmured, and her pet crawled out of the bag to easily lick her clean. It only took hima few seconds, then perching himself neatly on her shoulder, rubbing heir cheeks together which made the female giggle lightly, a small half-smile forming on her lips.
"Job well done, partner. Let's go get something to eat." She grabbed the severed head of the beast and carried it along with her, making her way into the own to receive her pay and lunch.
