I've been thinking. Autonoma I have as having rudimentary intelligence. Does that mean they cannot speak or communicate at all? Or what exactly does it mean...

I am not sure. That might add some interesting depth to your Autonama. It could have a different means of communication maybe. What if it could only communicate by semaphore XD. That's not an actual suggestion but just picturing it is rather funny.

I did have an idea where either autonoma have their own language, but only those bonded with an automaton can understand it (like R2D2 and C3PO) or a bonded mortal can understand their, and only their automaton's chirps and sounds

Knowing the tiny bit I know about robotics... it would make sense to me that an autonoma cannot speak unless it has some way of producing noise. It could be a vocal box of some sort, or maybe it's able to communicate through tapping and moving, like a bee?

True, it wouldn't be able to actually speak words for others to understand unless given a vocal box, which I feel is a very rare occurrence. But, with the options outlined above, I was thinking that corticies can make hums/chirps/sounds in a way of communicating that becomes words to their bonded.

Also, I don't know if anyone knows Warmachine/Hordes/Iron Kingdoms, but the Warjacks was my original inspiration, though I think they have a more diverse body set here.

Hahaha, I'm now imagining a library/archival autonoma that's basically a giant robot arm that communicates through writing and drawing and holding up prompt cards. Someone spills tea on a book and it draws a middle finger in the air.

I'd say that they still need a humanoid (elvenoid?) Body in order to work right. Something about the cortex or something.

Also would people prefer to keep OOC here, or move to Discord?
