Adventure of the Cursed

Welcome to my recruitment for my new story line! It is still in a bit of the grinding stage, so a lot is subjected to change. Also this is an extremely open world role play. You will find out a bit more about that when you read about the plot. I'm not going to waste your time by making you read through all about me and how I want my role player to be only to find out you are not at all interested in the plot, settings and characters first. That way if you really are interested, you can learn all about me an my expectations to see if you are a fit!

All About that Plot:

  My character is an adventure at heart with a spirit which can not be crushed. Cursed with a seemingly endless curse, she travels far and wide completing outlandish tasks trying to break it. (More about her curse on her character sheet)
  
  Your character has lived (where ever his home is) for their whole life. Things were pretty peaceful-- till tragedy struck them hard in the core. Now, devastated, they look for some way to right themselves. (More about you on your tab.)
  
  Together.. with the help of their new friendship, your character is going to travel, not around their own world, but all over different dimensions and worlds. Little did they both know, they were stumbling on something much bigger then the worlds combined. (More on the adventure of a whole on the setting tab)

  The Genre:
  
  The setting is a bit complicated... as this is about two characters crossing through dimensions and worlds. This could easily go under Futuristic as well as Fantasy. But this will mostly be fantasy themed, so I will leave it at that.
  
  How we'll do it:
  
  My character is essentially going to be an 'Alien'. She will have technology that will allow her to jump between worlds, translate different languages and other such things. If we need a tech to get over a lump in the plot which is possibly plot stopping, then we can do that. But it would defeat the purpose if we could solve all the problems with random tech!
  
  The worlds:
  
  This is anything we want. Literately. If we want a world of just animals and no human civilization, then we'll do it. Do we want a world of Zombies? Lets do it. Do we want to go see a world with knights and dragons? Yes? Lets go! Our characters will have no control over where they go. However we have all the control of where they go! So lets put them in some strange and creative places.
  
  The Bigger Plot:
  
  That's right!! We are going to save the world!! Somewhere in the mist of things we will catch wind of a devious plan and want to try and stop it. How and what is still a bit up for grabs. I may entwine it with your character back ground if you give me that.
  
  And...
  
  I do want this to be a romance some where. Because I am playing a female character it is limited to FxM or FxF. I can play the dominate female, however I am not going to be the one pulling all the weight. The whole 'shy uke' doesn't really fly for me.

  Equipment: Melody has a variety of equipment. She has a translator, teleporter and even a magical crystal to help her along her journey.
  
  
  
  
  Curse: Melody is cursed with a seemingly never ending curse. Every time she breaks a curse, she is immediately cursed with a new one. The curses are sometimes extreme, but most the time they are kind of silly. Sometimes the curse entails things like bunny ears, turning purple or a speaking quark to more extreme things like personality changes, aliments and impulses. To break the curse... she is told (by someone) how to break the curse. The answers could be as silly as climbing a mountain, or kissing a stranger to fighting a dangerous beast to solving a problem.
  
  Personality: Melody is a hyper mess. She is always trying to spin a positive out look on life. Although she always seemed to be smiling, she does hold a deeper loneliness in her heart for her life style. However her heart is on the road and she couldn't ever see her life without adventure! Melody loves trying new things, to food, dance and making friends. She is extremely charismatic and compassionate, open to other's culture and ways.
  
  World: Melody comes from a world with a lot of technology. Spaceships are most defiantly a thing for her. However her world thinks meddling in other planet's bussiness is something to be looked down on. The people on her planet are very close minded. The most they use space ships is going to collect materials from places they don't have on their own planet.

  -Alright, first off I don't believe in back stories. Not meaning I don't believe your character should have a back story... Because they better have a back story. I just think it is better played out through the story.
  
  -Please put your characters appearance on the top of your character sheet. Anime picture please. I come here to escape the real world, not live in it.
  
  -Please give a valid reason for your character to want to leave where you live. I want a hard core driving force from revenge on a world jumper for killing your family... or your sister being stolen. Something like that. The default plot will be your sister being stolen... if you can't come up with something better (or a pre-made character back story.)
  
  -There will be a lot of NPC. We may add secondary characters later perhaps.

  -I am 23 years old. I love cats, to read, watch anime and play video games. My best friend is InsaneTruth and I absolutely love this website. I've been Role Playing for 2 years now and I started out with Pathfinder. I prefer to only do small group or 1x1. Large groups is a real no-no for me. Also.. I like oneliners.
  
  
  -What I like to RP? I like Supernatural and Fantasy the most. Sometimes I like heavy Slice of Life with hints of Supernatural. I like to play Horror and Drama. So... character death, blood, dark themes. They all give me tingles of happiness to read and write. x3 Umm.... Hope that is not too scary? O.o I do fluffy and humor RPs as well. xP
  
  
  -I play boys, girls, men and women. Hell i'll play animals, nekos and mythical creatures.
  
  
  - I love romance. I don't care if it is Yaoi, Yuri or straight. I will play to Dominate character. So for all you Ukes out there, come one - come all. I do not do insta love. Seriously. I won't make googly eyes at you for a while into the RP les it was planned.
  
  
  -That being said, I don't want romance to be the main focus. I would love for an underlying plot to be there. Romance only stories kind of hit a slump once 'I love you' happens. Lets go save the world and fall in love on the way instead!
  
  
  -Also know I am not my characters. Do not mistake in character drama or romance for myself as a person. I know there are some people who play with their hearts and true self, I am not one of those people. Again: My characters are not me.

  Be warned, it is the WORST. I can't keep RP partners because I have the worst Reply rate of a lot of people, but I guess I'm not THE worst because I've had a few people tell me I'm not that bad.
  
  
  I am a mod so sometimes things get busy for me. Plus my outside life! I'm a college student and a Nanny! Sooo that is a thing. Plus i'll flat out just RP with my best friend InsaneTruth, and take forever to reply to anyone else's RP. Sorry to say, but that is just how I work.

  If we do, do one liners... please don't give me three worded one liners. 'She kissed him'. 'He nodded.' And please, know how to use a bit of punctuation. Spelling I don't mind. Grammar I don't mind. As long as I am not straining myself to read. I'm not perfect.

  As for your reply time and other things. Pfft, take your time. I'm in no hurry and I don't plan on going anywhere. I'm not going to be awful at replying then expect you to not to be. -waves hands-

  Please be able to play multiple characters and contribute to the RP. I don't like only playing on character or the only one with story moving actions. Don't be afraid to collaborate with me!

  I believe people have a style they love, it's what they find most relaxing and fun. I just happen to love one liners. It is just something I find relaxing. However if you like the plot but don't prefer one liners, that is fine.
  
  
  If you think, "One liners kill the RP, I hate them!" Please refer to InsaneTruth and I's 2400 paged RP of one liners. What kills an RP is a partner who does not fit your style, not the writing style itself.

  Honey gasped when they finally approached the burning building, Cleo still clinging to his side. The people inside were clearly crazy. So what a normal person would think on hearing and seeing the scene. Honey knew better, he could see the creatures called nightmares fly around the burning building. There was so many...
  
  
  "Other Spirit Guardians are in the area. Don't fret Avery, people will be helping!" Sunny said positively.
  
  
  Honey hopped it was someone he knew. Most often all of the magic users were spread around the city. He didn't see another very often. Though now he needed to concentrate on the immediate situation. He needed to slip away from his sisters. When he turned to them, they were already having a conversation among each other about the situation. Cleo was not as into the conversation, just watching the flames a bit fearful.
  
  
  "Ah... I REALLY need to use the bathroom." Honey said, clearing his throat a bit to get his sister's attention.
  
  
  "We can go then." Leslie offered. She didn't really want Cleo to watched what could possibly turn into someone dying. That was not somthing a 10 year old should witness. Special after her rather traumatic experience 2 months ago. The whole family was a bit shocked and protective of Cleo after she tried to commit suicide. Honey had luckily stopped her before it was too late.
  
  
  "No! It's ok. I mean I super badly have to go.... so I'mma going to run over to that public restroom I saw a few blocked that way! I'll have my phone on me, so i'll be right back!" Honey promised, detaching Cleo from his arm and running away from the burning building and down the street.
  
  
  Honey ran as fast as he could till he was out of sight from his sisters, ducking into a near by alleyway. Sunny trailed behind him as he ran, speaking into his ear, "We need to hurry, those people are in really big trouble."
  
  
  -Transformation scene start-
  
  
  "I know Sunny!" Honey said as he got out of the public eye. With that he touched the jeweled hair clip in his hair, his fingers lightly brushing the smooth surface. "Time... to transform!" He said out loud. The gem started to glow with magic and suddenly the dreaded looking alleyway seemed to fade away and everything turned to tones of yellow and orange. Sunny also started to emit a song as Honey started his transformation.
  
  
  Honey laughed as he felt the music and magic pulse through him, his clothes suddenly bust off him as if being torn off from some force, his naked body censored from a yellow light. Smiling, Honey tapped his feet together before two cream orange and white knee high socks appeared with a small poof, along with a pair of cute flats. Next Honey twirled a bit and patted the side of his hips, making a pair of cute fluffy shorts appear, the color of a cute cream yellow. Next he leaned down slightly and almost sensually dragged his hands up the sides of his body, slowly introducing a cream orange shirt. It started to appear, following his hands up his sides. His hands continued up to his head, where a hood appeared. Finally his hands continued to travel over, making a set of bunny ears that actually worked.
  
  
  Turning, Honey then tapped his bum lightly, making a white bunny tail appear. Again he twirled around and stuck his right hand out and what looked like to be a baton appeared there. Suddenly several different collared orbs flew around Honey before all gathering to stack up ontop of eachother on the baton in his hand, together they all formed a long staff.
  
  
  Twirling the staff in his hand, Honey turned again before striking a pose while holding the staff, newly transformed.
  
  
  -Transformation scene complete-
  
  
  After transforming the spirit world was what Honey was greeted with.With a determined look, Honey jumped out of the alleyway. Instead of going back down after jumping like gravity intended, Honey flew into the air, launching past the buildings that shielded human eyes from his transformation.
  
  
  "We need to hurry!" Sunny repeated once again. It was slightly annoying, but Sunny was right.

This is a super interesting plot! The whole "unlimited settings" thing here is a great idea. I'd have to say that this has certainly piqued my interest.
