Adelaide's aura can amplify the static electricity within her body to make touching her give anyone a shock. If she walks into a puddle of water it will electrify the entire puddle of course. It is also amplified if a person touches her with metal. The ideal use of this ability is defense. She can change to offensive by making it gather in her palms so that she can shoot it out like lightning bolts. Depending on how much energy she puts into the electricity is how powerful it is. It never can reach enough to actually kill someone unless she relentlessly shoots that one person with it, it is only strong enough to at most incapacitate someone for up to five hours. She can kill someone if it came down to it, she prefers not to kill people though. Setbacks/drawbacks of said power -
The downfall to this ability is that it takes a huge reserve of her energy to amplify the effects of her static discharge, so if she's not careful and someone holds onto her for too long while she's in defensive mode, it will also deplete her, as she can not stop the ability unless the person lets go. Think of it as an on and off switch. If she has it switched off before the person touches her, they're okay. But, she can turn it on/off at any time. But, as long as someone has a hold of her, there is no off switch.

Personality -
Adelaide is very sweet, one of the sweetest people that you could ever meet. Unless, a person has done something against her or her family, if that is the case then don't even bother to approach her because she can become the coldest person that you'd ever see if an enemy approaches her. She can be very shy as well, especially in a room full of people that she doesn't know. Adelaide is nice. Adelaide is book smart, she studies more often than hanging out with her friends.
Adelaide can also be very mean as well, she doesn't like to be mean. But, if it comes down to it, she will be mean. She will be cruel.
She also is constantly using her phone to socialize rather than attempting to socialize face to face unless you're family or a teacher.Likes - Adelaide likes to read and likes studying. She prefers using social media. She likes watching videos or listening to music in her free time, sometimes while studying for background noise. She also likes a clean and neat living space.

She dislikes snobby people who treat her like crap, she hates the idea that people think she is ruthless and mean due to her ability. She hates mess.Bio -
Adelaide grew up in a middle class family. She is an only child. She was adored by all of her family, but, more so by her now deceased great grandmother since Adelaide was the only child conceived by her parents to actually survive due to issues with conceiving. Her great grandmother died when Adelaide was 7 years old. Her great grandmother right before she died made Adelaide promise that she would start studying for Guardian Academy when she turned 11 years old, even though Adelaide's family had connections to get her into the school.
The connection? Her great grandmother as well as paternal grandmother. Her great grandmother taught at Guardian Academy and starting making the connections to make sure that her first and ONLY great grandchild would be able to attend the academy. Her paternal grandmother continued the work of the great grandmother's, once the great grandmother retired, to ensure Adelaide a spot seeing as well, it was her only grandchild.
When Adelaide turned 11, she started to fulfill her great grandmother's wish even though her parents told her that it was unnecessary due to their connection to the school to get her enrolled, it was a guaranteed spot in the Academy. She stayed in to study more often than she went out with her friends, she wanted to show the people at Guardian Academy that she earned her spot there academically rather than just relying on her connections. She has never told anybody about her connections to the academy out of fear for being bullied. She started training with her ability as soon as she could. She has a love hate relationship with it.
While she's been at Academy, she hasn't had much of a social life due to being out caste by others due to what she can do. Not that it bothers her much any, she'd prefer to stay in and read anyways. Every time Adelaide goes to make a friend, usually something goes wrong - mostly on her end of things. She's shocked so many people that it's not even funny, all the young ones who go there are intimated by her due to the stories that they have heard from the older ones. Nobody really tries to socialize with Adelaide outside of social media. People have stopped getting to know her. Adelaide also misses her parents and being home.
Adelaide has grown to love academics as she has been at the academy, she is still furthering her ability, that being one of the least favorite things to do while at academy due to her Aura, but, trains regardless. She would rather be studying for this or that test even though her Aura could be very useful in the Military. She is in her final year at Guardian Academy and is still unsure if she wants to go the Military route.
Now that Adelaide is in her final year, though.. she regrets not having more of a social life, she only has a few close friends.Habits -
