Well, hello there! I decided to make an interest check with some ideas I've come up with, things I enjoy and see if anyone here would like to take me up on any of these/come up with something new together! So without further adieu, here we go. I am just going to keep reusing this one and updating as needed. please DM me if interested! You can call me Addy, Fadded, Fox, most nicknames are cool.
About Me/Style
I like to play a variety of characters; male and female. Sometimes rps require multiple characters and I enjoy playing several, or just focusing on two main characters and utilizing Npcs to make the experience more enriching. My posting style I would say is semi-literate to literate, generally between 2- more paragraphs depending on the muse and what is going on. I give as much as I get. I play a variety of pairings as well, I am LGBTQI+ friendly, and usually play m/m but I don't mind whatever you want to throw at me. Except f/f as I feel I would not do a very good job of portraying it. I also don't mind pm or thread, whatever your preference. I enjoy mature, dark, character development and drama rps. I like adding some romance as well. I don't have many triggers. IF we do come across one, I would just let you know. I usually do Fantasy but we can always talk plot and see what we can come up with together. I love plotting with my partner and also talking OOC! Let's be friends and talk about characters and fun stuff. Let's see.... I generally use art or anime pictures for face claims. You can use whatever you like.
As for my posting schedule, it varies. I work full time, care for my grandmother, and own my own business. I try to respond quickly, but it can go from several posts a day, to once a week. It really depends on what is going on and how tired I am. I respond less on Friday and Saturday. I will not ghost you. I will tell you if I need to take a longer break because of something. If I seem to stop suddenly, joke poke me! I sometimes read things when I can't reply and work on it in my head, and forget I didn't actually reply. I also have a discord and you can always reach me there. I will always answer you, even if it is not right away. I am friendly and try try to be as courteous as I can, so please be the same! We are here to create a story and fun together. I will not tolerate anyone being rude. The way a character in a story interacts or thinks does not mean I think that way. I also write only in third person.
Requirements
* Be over 18 - I am 31, so it would be awkward and inappropriate if not.
* Be mature - As mentioned, I do enjoy dark themes so be prepared for that, depending on our story!
* Plot with me! - I am interested in writing a story we both enjoy. I don't want to be the only one carrying the plot and story. That will make me lose interest fast.
* No one or two liners please - if it is JUST dialogue and we have to do that for a brief stint, that is fine, but I DO NOT want to give you a 5 paragraphs reply and you send back a sentence. I can't do much with that and it is extremely frustrating. At the bare minimum, please give me a paragraph that I can work with. I want to know what characters are thinking and doing! I will ask if the rp is dying if I see that, and if we need to jump start something in the rp or change ideas.
* No Ghosting - I understand life happens and you can't replay every day. I just ask that if you are going to take a longer leave of absence, please let me know. I will do the same. And let me know if you are not interested in something anymore and we can drop it or try something new. I don't mind! I would rather you tell me than suddenly drop yourself from the rp or vanish. It makes me feel like I did something wrong and most of the time, if I did, I have no idea what I did so can't fix it. If you tell me, I am much more inclined to rp again with you in the future, regardless if we didn't hit off with the first plot. Just courtesy.
*Be respectful - Please be respectful, as I will be with you! Obviously characters can be whatever the hell they want to be but we should be respectful to each other as writers.
*No God-modding - I will ask if I can move a character around for scenes like fighting or whatever, please do the same. For the most part, I'm fine with you needing to maim characters, but it should be cleared first and consistent with the plot and stuff.

Artificial Intelligence <craving!!
Idea 1
I absolutely love AI and would love to hear ideas on this too, but basically, I have this idea where it is in the future where AI have been a common thing in households and the advances have only just increased to the point that some AI have gained free-will and are very much human-like. With new advocates speaking up for AI, the government created a sanctioned 'AI living village' where AI can live in their own homes. AI can have jobs and they get a stipend (less money than a human would get of course) to live off of to pay for things. This is more of a test and experiment. The government want to see what happens with them really. In this I was seeing an AI that finds a child and tries to raise it and perhaps meets someone else who either wants to help, has a disregard for AI, or whatever else we decide. The world is a very dark place with many people hating AI and posing dangers for them.
Idea two is AIs are being used in the police force and one of the AI has started to learn more and more about being human and tries to break free of the mold set for him, and the fact that newer models are coming out and he may soon be replaced.
In both ideas, you can be anything you want; advocate, AI hater, friend, another AI etc. Most likely we'd be doubling up or something as we explore the worlds. We also don't have to do the AI finding a kid. We can do whatever we want for the plot, that was just a starter/initial idea.
Opposite Sides

Vampires are known to exist and they are hunted by a special Order. What the order doesn't realize however, is that not all vampires are the same. Most vampires don't actually drink blood, human or otherwise. They get their nutrition from fruit, like the common fruit bat. The Blood drinkers are called 'the Crazed' by these vampires and they've created their own guard to hunt and protect humans and vampires from the crazed, for these blood-drinkers don't see a difference between the two and will hunt and drain a fruit vampire just as they would a human. So we have hunters attacking all vampires, especially these élite vampire guards, not realizing they have a common enemy. I was thinking of playing a vampire guard as a main character but we of course can have a plethora of characters and dynamics going on here, however you want to play it/depending on what kind of character strikes your fancy.
Idea 3
This idea could be a group rp.
He was a king; a king who made a desperate play to save the kingdom he loved. Everyone knows you shouldn't contract with a demon. They gave you a power at a terrible cost and you'll never ever be the same. But what choice did he have? If he didn't, everyone that depended on him would die. So, he did the forbidden. With the demon of passion residing in his body, the great king demolished his foe and saved his people. A hero. But that is not where the story ends. The demon's hunger turned him into something vile. He must eat the flesh of man to sate the demon's hunger and if he does not, the demon takes over his mind and does and wrecks havoc, devouring anything and everything in its path till it is full. The young king tried to resist and only found the mangled bodies of his most trusted friends and soldiers lying at his feet. To protect his people, he named an heir and fled, never to be seen again by those he loved. Now the fallen king and demon travel the world. The man continues to try and live by a code of honor, keeping his demon in check and yet being forced to feed on flesh or allow a demon to take over his mind and ravage the world instead.
There is a lot of world development for this one and we can approach at many different angles
In the Deep <always craving] << love sirens! Idea 4
1. Kinda want to play with a merman who'd just laid eggs (seahorse anatomy) and maybe is injured or something, humans could have captured him and the eggs. Maybe he is in a marine biology station area partnered with a zoo? Lots of different things to explore here and open to ideas!
2. Sirens. On another planet. Let's mix this up. I'd love to discuss lore, character ideas, this is very open. Main thought for this is sirens are living on a planet made almost entirely of water. There are several different types of merpeople here. I would love to play a siren, but the joy of having a big open world is that this has the potential for side characters as well as doubling if you want to do that and also play a siren. Also was thinking the main other character(s) comes from off the planet either to harvest something on this aquatic one, or try to settle here, or heck, maybe they get stranded here. Or, maybe they try to take one of the sirens off the planet for research purposes. Lots of different plots possible here and would love to develop the story with you.
NOTE: IF you are okay with it, there is also a chance for mpreg because I did see the sirens functioning like seahorses where the boys are the ones who carry the eggs, but if you are not okay with that, that's fine. We don't have to include that. Just a thought.
Frozen Felvi Idea 5
I am imagining a race of people with their own magic and religion which we can develop and explore. Another group of people were trying to annihilate them for a reason we can work out together, could be for land and resources or something else. Regardless, one of the priests, in desperation to save his people, evacuates everyone from their last sacred city and unleashes a spell that is intended to destroy the advancing army, knowing full well it will kill him in the process. His apprentice modifies a spell to counter it. So the advancing army gets hit with the spell, many die, as intended. However, a massive stone wall is erected along with fog to block the city from sight and the spell also freezes everything in time. The apprentice effectively saved his mentor's life by freezing the mentor and everything around him. Now years have passed and people still talk about the sacred City and the mentor and apprentice are regarded as deities themselves. No one knows if the city actually existed or if it is just myth. The concurring people of course say it never happened and no one can seem to find the place.
But what if a descendant from the apprentices line does happen to find the city and unfreezes it and the man left behind? Figured could be fun to play around with! The priest could be male or female, I don't mind playing either gender here, and yes I do prefer the priest/priestess role.
