Occupation: Goddess
- Appearance
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 120lbs.
Hair: Crimson Red, wavy in appearance and not in any particular style.
Eyes: Emerald Green
Body: Slim
Attire: A gown that is much like that of Ancient Rome or the Medieval Era, with hues of purple. Heels that match the dress in color as well. Generally wearing a ring that is silver and contains either a Black Onyx or an Amethyst. Rarely wears any kind of necklace or earrings.
True Form Description: Addarra uses a form of pure purple-blue mist as her true form. This mist is immune to attacks, manipulation and all other things. It is unknown what other advantage this form gives the Goddess. Possibly allowing her to manipulate other beings by putting them to sleep.
Favored Humanoid Form Description: A young maiden with crimson red hair and an emerald color for her eyes. Her skin is fair save for the whimsical designs on her shoulders running down the length of her arms. They are symbols of the mist, the dreams that she controls. The are also on her legs running up to her thighs. They are also on her neck and around her right eye.
Favored Animal Form Description: A black cat with a white star burst on her right eye.
- Personality
Addarra generally keeps to herself. She is quiet, timid and reserved in social settings and tends not to speak her mind to others even those she regards as friends. Preferring to wander through the Plane of Mundus than spending time in her own Realm she is generally seen in the company of Mages, Assassins, Thieves and other people generally not considered acceptable by societal standards. She will from time to time make friends with the nobility or upper classes of Kingdoms, Empires and Nations so as to have a change of pace, though she generally just keeps to the darker aspects of society out of preference. Seen as a patron of Assassins who use paralytic poisons and other poisons she is wrongly worshiped as a Goddess of Assassins and Murder but she does little to change that.
- History
Addarra like the other Gods sprang into existence all at once without the knowledge of whether they were family or not. She will refer to those Deities that are especially nice to her or are close to her as Brother or Sister respectfully out of admiration rather than familial meaning. Being reserved and rather isolationist, Addarra is not well known among the Gods, sure they know of her, but few have ever spent time with her or have seen her. Mainly the deities of Night, Chaos/The Void and Death know her well. For it is through the Void that Addarra spins her dreams and nightmares, the night brings sleep and in Death, well her de facto patronage of assassins kind of brings her close to Death. A life spent in the shadows spinning the dreams of the people of Mundus and that of the Realms of the Gods themselves, she spends little time with others. When she does it is typically not with the other Gods but with the outcasts of society itself.
With the death of Aeros the God of Magic, Addarra has only further withdrawn so as to protect herself, her realm and what power she does possess. Believing that it was certainly another Deity, Addarra is highly suspicious of the other Gods and Goddesses, including those that she has spent time with. Seeing the effects of the Cursed Magic throughout the world with Aeros' death she mourns for the loss of one of the few Deities that spent time with her on a rather regular basis and took an interest in her realm, her powers and she in his. Through her immense love and respect for Aeros, Addarra has rather taken over seeing the Mages of the world and learning from them as well as teaching them what Aeros taught her. She believes that drawing lines in the sand is not going to help anyone in the end, but that doesn't stop her from suspecting all the others.
- Magic/Spells
- Miasma -- Addarra can summon up a Miasma that puts people into a slumber only she can wake them from. None are immune to this but her and her Servants. The Gods themselves would be rendered helpless in this state of affairs, but due to the timid and shy nature of Addarra she would only use this as a last resort. In a Miasma state she can control their dreams making them pleasant or nightmares. At that very same notion she can keep the person from realizing that they are even in a dream world by playing on their memories. This all is also very taxing for her and she cannot keep many subdued for long periods of time. One or two individuals however, that can last far longer. While in this state the subjects that have been subdued do not age, their wounds heal ten fold and they are rejuvenated in some senses.
- Shrouded Mist -- Addarra can vanish into a mist form that is immune to all damage. While in this form she can move swiftly but cannot do any damage herself either. Do not mistake this form with her true form as that is a form that she can attack from. Also in this form she can turn others into mist allowing them to escape unharmed from a situation that is dire. This ability costs very little to her, and is one of her favorites to use.
- Nightmare's Breath -- Addarra can instill a nightmare in an individual that can kill. This ability can also be given to her Exarchs or to a Champion she chooses. Typically Addarra doesn't use this herself, but instead gives this ability to her Champion which has been more often than not an Assassin. The technique is rather simple as the heart stops making one suspect that it was a natural death when in reality it was a murder. Next time you hear of one dying peacefully in their sleep, think for a moment, was it so peaceful or were they tormented and tortured in their dreams before being killed?
- Miasma -- Addarra can summon up a Miasma that puts people into a slumber only she can wake them from. None are immune to this but her and her Servants. The Gods themselves would be rendered helpless in this state of affairs, but due to the timid and shy nature of Addarra she would only use this as a last resort. - Her Realm
Her Realm: Realm of Dreams
The Domain of Addarra, Goddess of Sleep and Nightmares is separated into two sections. The Dreams of Joy, Happiness and Pleasure, then those of the Nightmares. In the realm of Good known as Sul there are green fields, beautiful rolling hills, forests and beautiful shores. Here the good dreams reside. The creatures here are those that are peaceful and pleasant. The Castle that overlooks a town from a cliff is called the Hall of Sular, a white castle with wispy towers and the town is Sulion filled with people of all kinds no one race lives here. Opposite of the Realm of Sul is the Realm of Vulon or Nightmares. No light shines here save for the luminescent creatures and plants that dwell within the mist. The creatures here are those of horror, terror and from the darkest recesses of the Goddess' imagination for Nightmares. Her castle known as the Hall of Vulari is black, with towers that appear to be watching those within. The town of Vulkaris is at the base of the Hall of Vulari, the races within are those of the shunned, the demented and the twisted. This is a realm that few would willingly enter.
Servant Description: There is but one Servant race, all others that dwell within her realm are there from the Plane of Mundus (usually descendants of those who were abducted or are races that the other Gods have shunned or desire not to let live in Mundus for whatever reason... the race rejects. The servant race are known as the Dreamweavers or Deinmaar. They are like the wraiths of the myths from Mundus for they are what inspired those myths. Those that come from Sul are white, with blue eyes and do only good in the world. Those from Vulon are black or grey with red eyes, they are the nightmares, those that stalk the lands and slaughter those that face them. They guard the crypts of the Exarchs of Addarra. Murdering those that dare tread on the crypt's grounds. Both serve the Goddess no matter what and will do whatever she commands.
Exarchs (Dedicated Priest): All deceased as of late. She has yet to choose another.
Favorite Color, Treasure Item and Precious Gem: Purple. Her treasure item would be either a dagger or some fine linen. Her gem is that of an Amethyst or an Onyx.
Sul: Good Dreams
Vulon: Nighmares
