[Lost Martian]

So I decided to make a new 1x1 interest check thread, this one only for fandom based ideas, though I might make one for original ideas some point soon. As far as what I’m looking for, I’m looking for someone to play opposite of me in any potential type of pairing, as I’m open to play any gender pairing. I don’t care if you’re male, female, cis, trans, or non-binary as long as you want to tell a good story. While the initial focus of my ideas is on romance, I would like to introduce some action and adventure into these ideas to keep them exciting. For all pairings listed below, I’m willing to play either of them, so you get your pick of who you want to play as. Also I can do doubling up if the plot requires it. I do prefer doing the roleplay by forum thread, but we can maintain an OOC conversation by either thread or PM. Anyways some fandom ideas I have are listed below.

    1) Leia Organa/Han Solo: It’s been a year since the destruction of the second Death Star and the defeat of the Empire. With the newly risen New Republic taking power, rebel heroes Han Solo and Leia Organa finally have the ability to take some time to relax. Deciding to go on a vacation on a New Republic world, Leia thinks it is just a chance to relax, but Han secretly plans to propose to her there. But how will their love survive against the rise of the Imperial Remnant and their new war with the New Republic?
    
    2) Anakin Skywalker/Padme Amidala: The Clone Wars having been raging for the past two years, engulfing the galaxy in violence. Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker has emerged as a hero of the Republic, crusading against the Confederacy and their Sith leaders. But what no one knows is his relationship with Padme Amidala, a key member of the Republic Senate. Secretly married, the pair meets sporadically throughout the war. One such opportunity has just come up as Anakin returns from a particularly brutal battle, Padme ready to comfort him. But can this marriage remain secret amongst the upheaval going on around it?

    1) Scott Summers/Jean Grey: In a world that hates and fears Mutants, Charles Xavier has come gathered many Mutant youths together at his school. The institute serves as a place for Mutants to learn about their powers and live amongst Humans. Eventually the first class of students would graduate, Scott Summers and Jean Grey amongst them. This first class would then become Xavier’s personal strike force, the X-Men. Sent on missions to help keep the peace between the Humans and Mutants, relationships will form between the various teammates. This includes Scott and Jean, Scott having a crush on her ever since they were students together.
    
    2) Calvin Rankin/Clarice Ferguson: Ripped from their home realities by the Time Broker, a group of six superheroes would be sent on missions to fix various realities as the Exiles. Amongst this starting team is Calvin Rankin, aka Mimic, and Clarice Ferguson, aka Blink. After only a few missions together, an undeniable attraction formed between the two. Now on a more calm mission, it seems a relationship is bound to form between the two.
    
    3) Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes: Forming an inseparable duo, neighbors Steve and Bucky would try to enter the war together, only for the sickly Steve to be denied. But he would gets his chance when he was turned into Captain America, the hero of the war. He would reunite with Bucky in Europe, forming the Howling Commandos. As they both fought the Nazis and Hydra, their friendship would begin to develop into something more. Surprisingly they would both survive the war, Captain America becoming more of an icon than an actual soldier. However both him and Bucky would be drawn into the formation of SHIELD, a new intelligence agency. But as the world rapidly changes, can Steve and Bucky’s relationship stand against the prejudices of the time?

    1) Clark Kent/Diana: The world is still reeling from the reveal that superpowers are real, as the Justice League appeared and defeating the invading alien Darkseid. Among these first heroes are Clark Kent, aka Superman, and Diana, aka Wonder Woman, two insanely powerful individuals. Both loners due to their nature, Clark and Diana would grow closer as the Justice League worked to prevent several more crises. However they would truly grow close with the party for the opening of the Hall of Justice, the League’s new headquarters. Perhaps this celebration will finally bring them together?
    
    2) Tim Drake/Connor Kent: Considered the next generation of superheroes, the Titans are rapidly growing in popularity, most young heroes joining the team. Recently, Tim Drake, aka the most recent Robin, has been voted the new leader of the Titans. Around that same time, Connor Kent, the clone of Superman known as Superboy, would be admitted onto the team, a connection forming between the two instantly. Will something become of this as the Titans continue to fight for justice?
    
    3) Harleen Quinzel/Pamela Isley: Both residents of Gotham, the most dangerous city in the world, mental illness causing them to become supervillains. Dr. Quinzel would become obsessed with the Joker, becoming his sidekick Harley Quinn, while Dr. Isley would gain plant powers and take the name Poison Ivy. The two would fight Batman for years, only for Batman and the Joker to disappear after one final confrontation. This power vacuum in Gotham would cause many new crime bosses to take power and fight for control of the city. Out of necessity, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy would team up as associates, only for an attraction to form. But can Harley truly ever get over the Joker? And will Poison Ivy finally open up to someone?

    1) Jason Lee Scott/Trini Kwan: When the Earth was under attack by the space with Rita Repulsa, five teenagers with attitude rose up to fight her. Using alien technology, they became the Power Rangers, armored superheroes. Jason Lee Scott would become the Red Ranger, the team leader. While not knowing his teammates before becoming Power Rangers, Jason and the others would grow close very fast. In particular he would take a liking to Trini Kwan, the Yellow Ranger. But who has time for a social life when you’re always fighting monsters and saving the world? With even worse threats than Rita on the horizon, can the Power Rangers survive? Can they even briefly be just normal teens?
    
    2) Tommy Oliver/Kimberly Hart: In an alternate time line where Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger, remained evil, the Power Rangers would be defeated by the combined might of Rita Repulsa and Tommy, now known as Lord Drakkon. But before Rita could celebrate, she was killed by Drakkon. Setting himself up as ruler of the Earth, Lord Drakkon would create a sort of fascist utopia. However a group known as the Coinless would rise, fighting against Drakkon’s rule. One leader of the Coinless, Kimberly Hart, the former Pink Ranger, would attempt to assassinate Drakkon. However she would be captured, but would be given the choice to rule alongside Drakkon. Surprisingly she would accept, attempting to fix the ruling system from the inside. Now known as the Ranger Slayer, Kimberly is always around Drakkon, a romantic tension forming between them. But given the fact that they are both using each other, could a even remotely healthy relationship form?

    1) Optimus Prime/Megatron: In this version of the Great Civil War of Cybertron, the war would only last a year before a peace treaty was signed. Autobot leader Optimus Prime and Decepticon leader Megatron would make peace, ushering a new golden age for Cybertron, with the Cybertronian Alliance. However not everyone would accept this, a group known as the New Decepticon Army rising to become a terrorist group. Still Optimus and Megatron held on, even opening up Cyberton’s borders to other alien species. While not always getting along, both Optimus and Megatron would grow close, not understanding romantic relationships. Even though they don’t see it, they are definitely in love.
    
    2) Silverbolt/Blackarrachnia: Originally hailing from far in the future, the crews of the Axalon and Darksyde would travel through a time portal, ending up on prehistoric Earth. On the primitive planet, the Maximals and Predacons would begin the Beast Wars, a conflict for the resources of the planet and a means to return home. For a Maximal soldier named Silverbolt, and a Predacon spy named Blackarrachnia, they would view the conflict as pointless. Instead they felt themselves drawn to each other, a connection forming despite the Beast Wars.

    1) Jedi Padawan/Jedi Padawan: By the end days of the Clone Wars, the remaining roster of the Jedi Order was rapidly diminishing. With the need for more Jedi commanders throughout the war zone, younger and younger Jedi were being sent into the field. For two Jedi Padawans who were friends at the temple, they would be sent to the Outer Rim for their first time in conflict. However, just as they arrived, Darth Sidious would initiate Order 66, a call for the Clone Army to kill off all Jedi. The two Padawans would just barely escape their Clones, going into hiding in the Outer Rim. Though they are mostly focused on just surviving, they can’t deny that something is forming between them.
    
    2) Alderaan Survivor/Pirate Captain: An Alderaanian noble would be doing some business off world when the Empire destroys their home planet. Now running from the Empire, the Alderaanian would run into a pirate captain. Taking refuge on the captain’s ship, they would both try to ignore the war going on around them, instead focusing on profits. But it seems like this situation is just not about business as the survivor and captain grow closer.
    
    3) Former Imperial Officer/New Republic Officer: Following the death of the Emperor, the galaxy changed a lot. Instead of the powerful Empire fighting the rebel alliance, now the Imperials were the rebels fighting the powerful New Republic. Hoping to finally end the Galactic Civil War, New Republic has chosen to try and wipe out all remaining Imperial bases. One such battle would lead to both an Imperial officer and New Republic officer being stranded on a hostile planet. Forced to work together, they are doing their best to ignore their attraction to one another.

    1) Spider-Person/Spider-Person: Across the vastness of the Multiverse, there exists a ridiculously high number of Spider-People. These dimensional variations frequently team up to defeat threats to all of existence. During this most recent crisis, several new Spider-People would be plucked from their home realities, including two Spider-People who quickly become friends. Perhaps it will become more as they rise up against this newest threat to the Multiverse?
    
    2) Krakoan/Krakoan: After many years of hatred and violence, the Mutants of the Earth had enough. Forming their own nation known as Krakoa, almost every single Mutant in the world left for the island nation. Quickly becoming a world superpower due to their advanced technology and massive amounts of powered individuals, Krakoa is flourishing. For two young Mutants, this is the first place that they ever felt like they belonged, especially with each other. Like many other Mutants on Krakoa, new love blossomed between them. Together they wish to join the X-Men, the heroes of Krakoa, especially with the rise of Orchis, a pro-human organization actively working against Mutantkind.

    1) International Bat-Person/International Bat-Person: For many years Batman has been considered one of the world’s greatest superheroes, that was until his fall from grace. After a particularly violent period, Batman would be outed as Bruce Wayne to the public. He would then disappear for a year, returning in a big news conference in Gotham. There he would announce Batman Inc, a team of like minded individuals to Batman, each one based in a different country, though they could come together as needed. The roster of this new team would include two junior heroes, who Bruce would bring to Gotham for training before deploying them in the field. Now training with each other constantly, feelings are beginning to form between the two.
    
    2) Green Lantern/Green Lantern: For centuries, the Green Lantern Corps has protected the universe, based out of the planet Oa at the center of the universe. They would defeat many threats over the years, though recently one from their ancient past has returned. A failed addition to the Corps, the Manhunters were machines meant to keep the peace. Instead they attacked Oa, killing many Green Lanterns. While the Manhunters were eventually pushed back, but the Corps had lost many members. In the wake of this, many new people would be sworn into the Corps, taken to Oa to be trained the remaining veteran Lanterns. For two of these recruits, they would immediately have trouble with the Corps’ rule about relationships between Lanterns, as something immediately formed between them.

    1) Time Force Officer/Rogue Time Force Officer: In the year 3000, Time Force protects the planet Earth as well it’s entire time line. Made up of various Power Ranger teams, Time Force sends them off to protect specific eras of history. Two Time Force Officers would be on the same team, a relationship forming between the two. However that would be destroyed when one of them seemingly died. Eventually the surviving one would leave their Ranger Team and become an investigator for Time Force. On one investigation into the past, they would find their lover alive, now seemingly trying to destabilize the time line. Forced into becoming enemies, the two former Power Rangers try to push back their feelings as they fight for their respective goals.
    
    2) Corinth Soldier/Cyborg: Following the Power Rangers defeat of the AI Venjix, there was an effort for humanity to spread out from the domed city of Corinth. In a decades time new settlements are formed across the wasteland, humanity slowly recovering. In one such settlement is a soldier who dreams of becoming a Power Ranger. Their dream would be upended when they came across a cyborg that had Venjix tech in them. Trying to help them assimilate into human life, the soldier then would hear about a new threat destroying other settlements. Both the soldier and the cyborg would then join a team that departs for Corinth, trying to find some help in fighting this new menace.

    1) Autobot/Decepticon: In this shattered glass universe, the Great Civil War of Cybertron rages between the tyrannical Autobots and the freedom fighting Decepticons. Destroying most of Cybertron, the war has left the species heading for extinction. The Autobots have now begun building massive prisoner work camps, their labor used to build a fleet of ships needed to leave Cybertron and go conquer other planets. Both captured Decepticons and believed traitor Autobots are put in the camps. For a recent Autobot and Decepticon thrown into a work camp, it seems like their lives are at an end. But their emerging friendship causes them to continue living, with plans to escape the work camp.
    
    2) Autobot/Autobot: Due to a slight shifting in magma, Mount St. Helen does not erupt in 1984, making it so the Autobots and Decepticons embedded in the volcano did not reactivate. Instead their ship would be discovered in the mid 2000s, allowing for rapid technological advances. By the year 2025, Humans now populate most of the Earth, it’s oceans, and moon. This new united Earth receives a distress signal from a small Autobot ship being pursued by space pirates, helping fight off the pirates. The two Autobots aboard, who were secretly lovers, were granted amnesty on Earth. However, they don’t know about the other Cybertronians in stasis on Earth that humanity has been replicating their technology.

I do have more ideas than these, but that’s all I felt like writing down right now. Perhaps in the future I’ll add some new ideas, or even all new fandoms. If you see a fandom here that you feel like doing a different pairing or plot for, let me know as we can work something out.
