Habromania
Hello Hello! Nice to meet you, I'm Habro, WM, or whatever you'd like to call me (she/her), and ready to start a story with you! In this post is some expectations of both myself and you, as well as a plot. If you want to see any of my other plots you can find them in my master plot list: Multiple Settings - ❇ Habro's World ❀ Open Partner Search ❀ New Plots 11/26 ❇
To start off, here's a little bit about me!
❇ I've been writing for the last eight years, on again off again, but always improving. I write OC's, third person, and 3+ paragraphs exclusively! ❇
❇ I will write within fandom worlds on occasion but that's not my preference, however, I will take inspiration from them. I used to watch and read anime/manga so I draw on some of those inspirations still, I also am big on reading -- generally ya/new adult -- so if you want to fan out over any shared book favs, will do, and if you have any seggestions, please suggest away! ❇
❇ I can write multiple characters in various PoV's though I prefer to have a single main character to play. I play both female and male characters, and pairings can range depending on the story and the characters themselves, so something we would discuss while plotting. ❀ LGBTQ+ Friendly!!! ❀ While side characters are not required (especially in our beginning plotting phase) they do add value and I tend to add them as we get into our story! ❇
❇ I am a literate writer who writes to the scene -- dialogue heavy scenes will require less writing -- however my baseline is at least three paragraphs, and I can promise you I will not write more than two pages consecutively, I find that it becomes taxing when I am expected to write page after page in one response and it loses my interest fast, thus quality over quantity comes into play. ❇
❇ When I am not a full time student, I am a full time worker in a very emotionally taxing industry, so while writing is my escape, sometimes it might feel like a chore. My responses at this moment have been about every 2 weeks, with OOC in between, however after this month I should have more time to write and will usually be able to give 1 or more responses each week. When I know I am busy or when I think I've been quiet for too long, I will reach out to let you know the circumstances. I hope for, but don't require, the same from my partner. ❇

What I am looking for!
❇ A good story with world building! I've written worlds that require a map to understand, with political courts you could make flashcards for. That's not solely what I am looking for, but that is what you can eventually expect from me to contribute to, I enjoy digging into our world as much as I love the story. ❇
❇ 18+ no exceptions ❇
❇ I have a special place in my heart for fantasy, and I will admit those stories usually take priority for me. However, I have an open mind -- an idea is an idea and I will entertain anything you bring to the table. ❇
❇ Communication! I want you to be able to suggest your ideas freely, I want you to feel comfortably to take my ideas to twist and critique, for both of us to be able to build on a basis and come to an understanding on the direction our story could take. If you think we need to change some of the history to better fit the present, share how you want to do it! If anything makes you uncomfortable, tell me and we can work through it so we both feel safe with the story. This should be fun and a safe space to be in. ❇
❇ OOC is key! Please be willing to chat OOC on world building, plot building, and just getting to know eachother. What books do you read? Do you make playlists based on your stories? What's the latest show you're watching? These are inspiration and will help us get to know eachother and write better! ❇
❇ The most important piece, which ties into communication: come with ideas! If any of my plots (or if just me myself and I interest you, which I would be flattered by) please message me (don't just comment on this thread) and have a few ideas (more than one!) for us to brainstorm and pick between! If I'm not interested in them, I'll tell you, but I will usually give it a good go. And if you do like my plots, this rule still applies, come with ideas on how to make the plot better and how to make it more comfortable for you to write and have fun with. I've already given you the basis, it's your turn to give it some depth! ❇

Now what you have -- probably -- come here for, the plot! I have had this idea in mind for a while, but never got to write it out, and recently Part 2 has been stuck in my head. I'd love to hear your thoughts and interpreations for this story. I'm looking for fantasy, suspense, world building, and something fun! So without further ado...
Part One
C1 moved in with their family more or less against their will. It meant a new school, a new routine, and worst of all: they now lived in the middle of nowhere. Perhaps it wouldn’t have been so bad if C1 had been a child without any attachments or pride. But, alas.
One day C1 was in the back yard with their dog, playing fetch, when the ball went into the forest. The trees always seemed to be watching, and the dog never seemed to be willing to go anywhere past the tree line. That day, C1 wasn’t having any of it, and hiked through the trees to find the damned ball. There was a crack behind them, though, and when they turned they realized they were no longer in sight of the house. How could that have happened? They had only gone a few feet into the woods? Pulling their phone out, they find that they don’t have cell service, and for some reason their battery was draining at a rapid rate.
Another stick snapped, and C1 ran.
Alternatively, C1 is a college student and their family moved but now they’ve come home due to circumstances (medical, drop out, job-wise, etc), or C1 is on their own and had to move for a job relocation.
Part 2
C2 had never been able to cross over. They could see the house right beyond the trees, just out of reach, but whenever they went to get closer it was almost as if a barrier was in their way. They had never seen anything go through this barrier, either from or towards the house. Until that day. C1 had appeared out of nowhere, and C2 had just been playing their mind game, trying to figure this puzzle out. It wasn’t any type of magic they had ever seen and yet… this human, this C1 had been able to crack it. Unable to help their curiosity, they moved towards C1 only for the newcomer to bold.
Eventually through some events C2 had gotten C1 back, and was able to explain everything. They explained how no one had ever been able to cross that barrier, and that they had been waiting for C1 for years now.
Events occur, An adventure from here on happens – there are dangers everywhere and this is a dying world. And C1 just wants to go home, but can’t. So C2 shows them their world, what little there is. Eventually C2 helps C1 get back home, only to find that C2 still can’t cross the barrier.
Some time passes – note that time moves differently in the two worlds – and with no word from C2, C1 is worried, especially after news of others from their world being able to escape. Suddenly, nothing is too much and C2 throws themselves at the barrier both mentally and physically to get to the other side. And then… they are in the backyard of a house they’ve stared at their whole life. They crossed the barrier.
There isn’t much time, though. C2 has news, they just have to find C1.
They're not fully thought out, but that's what you're for! Again, this is a story line that's been plaguing my mind for years and I just haven't been able to further the story on my own. The fun part about this story, too, is that we don't have to start from the beginning. If we want our characters to learn to get to know each other we can write part one up through part two, or we can briefly introduce them and then skip right into part two, or just start with a relationship already formed and begin with part 2. Endless possibilities, truly. If either of these parts catches your attention, please shoot me a message with some of your ideas on how to further the plot! I can't wait to get to know you and this story better!
