Okay, so I'll use this opportunity to open up the RP's OOC chat page as a Q&A section!


Ask any questions that you'd like, no matter how many there are, and I'll answer them all!


You should be able to find all the information you need to make a character and join this RP in the "Mechanics" page, but if something eludes you then please don't hesitate to ask me about it here!

Whenever I saw this I did a double take. I sadly only have AC5 (how convenient because it let me understand what you were doing with blaze's character) but I love the game and, if there would stop being so many interesting rps like this one, would play it more often. I'll make my character in the morning and look forwards to role playing with you!

Sadly not much as a pilot, but I really want some awesome one-liners before the big KABOOM. Because I'm pretty sure all my characters get barbecued at some point, voluntary or not.

Do like the way that you made the pics in the Character Sign-Up. I was planning to post my CS soon, I can pretty much tell you that I am supporting your role-play, in the near future. By the way, which first AC game did you play? I just played only in a handheld game, Skies of Deception, which is the only game that takes place in Strangereal.

I played Ace Combat 4 first, and when I found I loved it I continued to buy the games. 4, 5, and Zero all take place in Strangereal, but 5 is my all time favorite. I keep my PS2 in working order just so I can keep playing that game because of how much I love the characters, story, planes, and overall flow of gameplay. For a game made in 2005, it's a work of art.
 
True, I do like Ace Combat Zero a-lot, it does connect with more background story with fifth installment. Unfortunately, I don't own a PS2 and I was willing to play that game, but damn, I just want to get them so bad.

There are emulators for the ps2, but they're all so finicky and take so many steps to install and use properly that they're mostly not worth it. However, Playstation has said that they plan to eventually make PS4 (or future PS consoles) backwards compatible with ALL previous Playstation systems. So hopefully within the next few years we'll see all the old PS1 and PS2 and PS3 games come to the PS4. That'd be nice.
 
Alright, I get your point. I try to get the emulator, but I don't really know if my laptop can handle it. Like really, I don't own a PC, but that's my reason to think over that if my laptop could get the emulator working.

Don't worry about it too much. If you're going to join the RP then please focus on this first. Again, most of the emulators are more trouble than they're worth anyway.

Not really.


You're free to detail what base your character starts in, even if it's one you make up. All of Osea's Air Force graduates are called to the same place to receive their recognition for becoming fully fledged pilots, hence why we'll all become familiar with each other early on even if and when we're called to different bases throughout the RP's storyline. Of that, I've made certain. But eventually our characters will all become part of the same squadron.


If you want to streamline that process, then starting in the same base as Kasumi will do nicely.

Hey Buddy...still alive? And if you think I won't find a way to work that line into the real RP...you're sorely mistaken.

This is an entirely new RP based in the Strangereal world where many AC games, including 5, took place. However, the other AC games are non-canon to this RP so none of the characters you are familiar with exist in this RP world.

Your character sheet fulfills all required content volume and is sound, so I have no objections accepting the character into the RP.


However, as a courtesy to me as the GM, I'd like you to explain to me a few things in a private message which I will be sending you shortly.

Sadly there isn't, at least not for the start of the RP. Osea would not provide their pilots with Yuktobanian aircraft.
