When I read a fanfic of Ace Combat 6 around 2013, but I didn’t play games on console so it was until Assault Horizon that I played the series for myself on PC but found it “meh” at first lol

the IC will start in the middle of a battle, right? like, the battle is going to happen almost immediately

Yes, tho i'm still unsure if we should start it mid flight or in base

i think base is better. it gives an opportunity to build more chemistry between characters before suddenly they are sent into battle. doesn't need to be much, like waking up and then having their breakfast ruined by the sudden sortie

oh, base is definitely better. more character interactions before being plunged into combat.

since the IC will start with a battle, i decided to have rook and jackal's events play out in IC!

rook: her squad scrambled to the same battle, but all shot down by the main BRA elite squad / the superweapon (yeah, feel free to make them the victims of antagonist entrance scene). bailed out of her plane in time, but going to suffer a hard landing which results in her injury

jackal: his decision to turn will only happen once BRA is starting to get pushed back (i know what an ass). will treat him like a secondary character until he turns and joins the gang
