Welcome, students, to the newly formed Academy of Magic! It is my pleasure to inform you that you've been accepted to this wonderful school! (Of course, we don't know if it's wonderful yet, as we haven't even begun the first semester, but I digress...)

Alexis Lancaster


Alexis waited semi-patiently for the day to start. Soon she would finally have students in the halls of her school! Of course, she couldn't actually teach any of them, she was far too busy keeping everything else organized and such, but that didn't make her any less excited for the first day of classes! Checking her watch for perhaps the billionth time, she grinned insanely to herself before straightening out her posture and trying to look somewhat formal. It was time to let the students and staff through the doors. Walking quickly over to the large front gates of her new school, she pressed a button and they were open! Not many were here right at the first opening of the gates, of course, but that didn't dampen the black haired woman's mood either. Now that the gates were open, she felt herself relax a bit. Closing her bright yellow eyes as she smiled, she walked back down the path to the front door of the main building. "It's finally time~"


Leona McFaul


Leo stared up at the large gates in awe. Being one of the first people to arrive meant that she was also one of the only people in the vicinity. For this, the shy red haired girl was very thankful. She wasn't sure if she could handle a lot of people right now... Swallowing audibly, she walked slowly through the gates with her two black luggage cases being towed behind her, worn out green backpack slung over her shoulders. This was it... A new beginning...


Alexandru Luca


Alex let out a deep sigh as he stretched his arms high over his head. That was a long plane ride... But he'd finally made it! "Now! Vhere am I going?!" He asked loudly, to no one in particular. He knew where he wanted to get to, yes, but he had no idea how to get there! And he didn't suppose he could just go up to someone and ask how he could get to the Academy of Magic... Hmm... This was quite the, how you say, 'pickle,' wasn't it?

 

[Leon Heart]

Leon stood patiently outside with the others as they waited for the large front doors of the academy to open. He was excited to begin the first semester of his hopefully long teaching career at this institution. His expression, on the other hand, did not divulge what he was feeling inside. Calm and collected was his usual appearance and quiet hi usual tone. Standing with one hand in his pocket and the other holding a brown leather bag over his shoulder, Leon suddenly heard a large sound come from the doors. As he looked ahead, they began to open and small gathering made their way inside. He followed after, getting a good look at the few people that were there. A young man and young woman were the first that he noticed. The boy was nosier while the girl seemed to be sheepishly shy and kept to herself. The next person he noticed was a black-haired woman who was walking along a path on the other side of the entrance waiting for them. While the others continued to make their way inside, he walked over to the yellow-eyed woman to introduce himself.


"Hello, name's Leon. Are you Ms. Lancaster?"

Alexis smiled happily at the brunet in front of her. "That's me! It's nice to finally meet you in person, Leon. You're the same Leon that I hired as the Combat instructor, right? Cuz if you're not, then I feel pretty dumb right now..." She trailed off, reaching up a pale hand to run it through her long black hair nervously. "Sorry, I'm kinda nervous... New school and all..." She joked, grinning slightly at him.

Nikki rushes up to the gates of the school feeling ashamed for being late. She rushes through the gates and halts to a stop as she sees a small crowd of people. 'Maybe I wasn't so late after all' she whispers to herself. She walks casually to the back of the crowd trying to blend in but her heaving breath seperats her from every one else's calm appearances. She adjust her green bag on her back and pulls her blue rolling suitcase next to her. She scans the crowd for any cute boys but doesn't see any yet. Feeling slightly disappointed she heaves a sigh and follows the crowd.

Skyler quickly runs to the gate, stops, enters, and looks around. "Maybe I'll actually have a chance to make friends, or something I should find the dorm." She grabbed her bags and her pet (a tiny wolf she has known since she was little) then walks in wondering who her roommate was and if they would get along. She entered the room silently and began organizing her things. She hadn't heard or seen her roommate or anyone familiar she then sighed once more and sat down, holding the wolf in her arms. "I hope that everything goes good, and I don't make a fool of myself"

 

[Karras Irascarium]

Glenn takes a look at his matte silver wristwatch and notices that the academy must have opened already. He nears the door pulling two elegant grey suitcases that are attached to each other, he has a matching grey suitcase hanging from his right arm, he notices a group of people congregated at the door.


"I should try to find a teacher or the headmistress to properly pay my respect to them... I guess they must be the adults in that group"


Glenn get close to Professor Leon and Headmistress Alexis and waits for them to notice him.

 

[Spirits N Souls]

Skyler walks out still holding onto Her pet, talon. " I should hurry and find the headmistress. Maybe she can answer my question.. " she quickly headed down to the crowd and looked around. She bumped into Nikki. "Oh I'm sorry... I - I didn't mean too. "

 

[Leon Heart]

Leon stood looking at the academy's headmistress, noticing how nervous she was and how understandable as well.


"Nothing to worry about really. I can understand that there's a lot of pressure that comes with your job. Yes, I am that same Leon. Good to meet you and I look forward to working with you this year", he spoke confidently and cooly as his usual persona often showed. He shuffled his brown leather bag around a little in his hand, watching as a few of the other students passed by to make sure he wasn't in the way of anyone. He was about to stand to the side when he had noticed out of the corner of his eye a young man walking confidently towards them with two large gray suitcases trailing behind him. He looked at the young man and figured that he must have stopped to address the headmistress so he stood there quietly, waiting for the young man to speak.

Seeing her new colleague look somewhere off to the side, Alexis also turned her attention that way, seeing a dark haired teenager waiting to speak to them. "Oh, hello! I'm sorry I didn't notice you sooner. Um, how can I help you?" She asked, somewhat awkwardly, but with a kind smile on her rather young face.

 

[Karras Irascarium]

Glenn bowed politely at the headmistress Alexis and gave a firm gloved handshake to professor Leon, all with a warm smile on his face.


"My name is Claude, but I go by Glenn these days, sorry to interrupt. You must be Headmistress Alexis? I am glad to met you and I hope I am on time, thanks for accepting me into this Academy"


Glenn bows slightly again and takes a step back, trying to let the adults resume their conversation.

 

[Leon Heart]

Leon wasn't sure what to do when he felt the young man who introduced himself as Glenn take his hand for a firm handshake. He appreciated the straightforwardness of his address and the respect that he showed for their Headmistress and that sort of thing usually goes a long way for him these days. It wasn't often anymore that he could find reliable people, especially not in his students. The students he had taught in past years never seemed to be respectable to the lessons that he had taught them. He stood there and observed in silence Glenn speak with Alexis briefly and took his step back as a means of exiting the conversation to allow them to talk further. He rubbed his left eye with his free hand, looking at the ground as he did so to give Alexis the chance to respond to the young man's kind introduction. He did not plan on drawing out their conversation much further as of the moment. He knew that Alexis would need to continue greeting more teachers as they entered and even more students. So he planned to keep his introduction short. There would be plenty of time for him to get to know his fellow staff members as the year went on and aside from that he preferred to keep to himself until he had spent more time around others.

Skyler quickly darted away before nikki said anything feeling bad for bumping into nikki. "Which way was it?" She said lowly looking around lost. "Maybe I'll wait until next time I see her." She got abit away from the crowd nervously and began trying to find her way. "Excuse me." She lightly tapped Glenn.

Alexis


The black haired 24 year old smiles warmly at the teenager. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Glenn. Thank you for coming to the Academy of Magic. We're happy to have you here!" Seeing him take a step back, she nodded once more in parting and turned back to Leon once more. "Anyway, Leon, I was just going to say that I hope you enjoy working here at the Academy, and thank you for taking the position as Combat instructor!"


Leona


The redhead made her way through the small crowd of students, making her way towards the Headmistress and someone that appeared to be one of her teachers. She stood silently off to the side, waiting for one of them to have a free moment. She wanted to get meeting the teachers out of the way, hoping that by the time she got to her classes, they'd know her face and she wouldn't have to speak or draw attention to herself when they took attendance.

 

[Nem]

Serus walked through the open gates of the institution, his multitude of bags weighing him down, even though he didn't show it. One bag for clothing, one for personal belongings, three for musical instruments, and one for his computer. He could easily be mistaken for an extremely extinguished butler or student, but instead, he was the teacher of what he believed to be the most important class - summoning. Tucked inside of his vest he had five obelisk shaped objects he used for drawing different amounts of blood. He reached his left hand into his shirt, picking at a scab on his right shoulder. As it began to bleed, a cardinal formed out of the air, swooping in and landing on his shoulder. "Right then!" Serus said in a distinguished voice. He pushed open the front doors of the institution, walking in. "Serus Saainhart, pleased to meet your acquaintances." He said, closing the door behind him with his foot as he stepped towards the group.

 

[Karras Irascarium]

Glenn made a small turn when he felt someone tap his back, he saw a girl with what looked like a wolf in hand, he was curious at the pet but didn't touch it.


"Might I help you?" Glenn said in a kind tone, looking confused at the pet.

 

[Leon Heart]

After Glenn had stepped back and Alexis had acknowledged his retreat from the conversation, he turned to his headmistress who had expressed her thanks for him accepting the combat instructor's position.


"It's my pleasure", he spoke, smiling cooly as he gave a small, charming smile. Just as he was about to speak, he had noticed a young woman approaching them. From her appearance, he guessed that she was a student who had spotted the two of them and was looking for guidance. He respectfully remained silent and hinted to the headmistress that they had company. As he did so, he turned immediately to the loud sound of another's voice, introducing their name is a rather resplendent manner. He quirked his eye brow only slightly, tilting his head in a way that caused his bangs to slightly sway. He observed the man and guessed that he must have been another one of the instructors. It would likely be a lively semester with someone such as him around. He could only wonder which class he would be teaching but decided to forget about it for now. There would be plenty of time for him to find out.

Alexis blinked rapidly at Serus' entrance, but shook herself out of it quickly. "Hello Mr. Saainhart. I'm Alexis Lancaster, the Headmistress here. I'd like to thank you for taking the position of Summoning instructor, and I hope that your time teaching here is pleasant." The tall black haired woman smiled at him in a way that she hoped appeared both warm and welcoming as well as professional.

Austin





Austin walks smoothly along a path, not in a hurry to get anywhere. He finally shows up at his destination. He rolls his eyes and walks through the gates of the school. Austin comes across a group of people all looking confused and lost. A few cute girls lay hidden in the group but Austin was starving and didn't care much right now. He slips through the crowd bumping into people here and there. He makes his way to the doors and heads towards the boys dorms to find a room.


Nikki





Nikki just stands at the back of the crowd feeling lost and confused as people bump into her and mutter apologies. 'I wish we could just go find our rooms now.' She mutters to herself. She looks around again to spot any famaliar faces but none. Nikki drops her bags to the ground and plops down next to them. She takes out a sketch pad. And starts to draw a picture of her pet owl that she left at home.

 

[Leon Heart]

When the headmistress had turned to address the man who was in fact an instructor, Leon turned his attention to the young, red-headed woman who was waiting patiently. He wasn't sure how to address her and simply put on a small smile.


"Hello, can I help you?" He spoke in a soft tone so as to seem approachable while Alexis greeted Serus.

Skyler lightly smiled. "I'm Skyler and this is Talon. I was wondering if you knew the way around? I'm abit lost." She had stepped back abit nervously.

 

[Nem]

"Salutations, Mad'amé Lancaster, it is a pleasure to meet you." He said with a slight bow. "Thank you for the warm welcome. Is there anywhere, eh, where I can set these bags down?" He asked politely, gesturing to the multitude of bags covering him. His arms were starting to itch in certain places, and the strap of one of the bags was uncomfortably pressing a few of the obelisks against his skin. If he wasn't careful, he might bring the building down with a summon...

"Jeez these halls are quiet" Austin says to himself as his footsteps echo around him in the empty school.


"I better find a good room before everyone else comes I'm here." He says. His bag on his back starts to move. "Alright" he says as he stops and removes his back pack. He unzips it with a flick of his wrist and out pops a fox. "Alright Red come on out." He says to his pet fox. Red comes out of the bag and sits on the floor next to Austin. Austin puts his bag back on and they both trot down the hallway.

Alexis


Bright yellow eyes widened and she looked around rapidly, before hitting mentally hitting herself over the head. "Oh! Of course!" She quickly opened a swirling yellow portal in front of the man. "Here. This leads to the room I've set aside for you."


Leona


The red haired girl swallowed thickly. One of the teachers was speaking to her! "Oh, um... I don't really need anything... Sorry... I just wanted to get a chance to meet some of my teachers before classes started... Sorry to bother you..."


Alexandru


Thankfully, the blue haired teenager had eventually managed to find his way to the school (don't ask how, though, not even he knows)! He walked slowly up the path to the main building, craning his head to look all around him as he tried to take in everything there was to see. It was such a gorgeous place he would be studying at!

Nikki looks up from her drawing just as she was finishing up the details. She sees a blue haired boy twisting and turning as he looks at the scenery. She stands up with her sketch book in hand and looks around her also. For the first time she notices the beauty of the nature around her. She guesses she must have been to bored to notice everything wonderful around her. And for the first time since she arrived, she feels a flow of positive energy flow through her for the year. She looks back at the blue haired boy and smiles at his look of awe.
