Baron raised his eyebrow at the auburn who called herself Mari Sonennschien. Her words did not match what Mei Jun had just said.


Perhaps the lad was shy to admit their relationship?


Wait...Mari Sonennschien?


He thought back to the computer at the library who had mentioned a student with.., "Hey, do you have healing ability?" Baron looked at Mari.

Lady Sonnenschein looks at Baron in an astonish look. How did this man know her ability and why? Mari starts to suspect there must be a reason for knowing her name and her power. "...No, I don't have healing powers." Mari looks at his bruise face and adds in, "Do you not need my help with something?"

Baron blinked at Mari, confusion fogging his eyes. "...what?"

Seeing Baron's confused expression, Mei Jun explained, "She means that she does have healing powers, and asked if you need help with your bruise."

Blinking again with realization, Baron nodded. "Oh~ I get it now." He let out a laugh, slightly embarrassed, "Sorry, I'm kind of slow at these things."


He smiled at Mari, "Sure, why not? I could use a faster heal."

Cain turned around after saying follow me, and was about to head back to the building to bring the girl who called herself Blue to the headmaster's room, when she called from behind.


Cain stopped to turn around then, but before she could finish the sentence, a huge sound of an explosion was heard. It turned both of their attention away as they looked at the building, the source of the loud noise.


"......The late bell," he mumbled, narrowing his eyes at the unusual school bell of this academy. It is already rumored that 5 students turned deaf due to this school system.


"...What were you about to say?" Deciding to ignore it, Cain looked back at Blue. He didn't care at all if he's late to class--he decided to skip at first anyway.

Mari happily smiles at Mei Jun and nods in agreement. It seems like being with Mei Jun makes the whole thing talking to strangers alot easier than before. She suddenly bites her lips and remembers that she had only healed small animals back in Germany. Would she be able to heal Baron's wound? The young lady shook her head and urge herself this is some simple bruise, not like a deep wound. The young man with the headphones smiles at Mari, "Sure, why not? I could use a faster heal." There was no time for regrets Mari thought. This is just a small obstacle for harnessing her healing powers.


"Then I will not begin." The auburn hair lady nervously hovers her hands over Baron's bruise. She slowly close her eyes and concentrates. A image of a vast web of threads with intricate patterns lay before her mind. As she thought, the web of a human is alot more complex than the small animals she healed. Mari search through the complicated web and found an area where the threads were a bit discolored. She concentrates even harder and says the prayer incantation in her head. The threads slowly change back to its original colors. Satisfy with her work, Mari opens her eyes again to see Baron's face clean and healthy. "Looks like your face looks so sickly and ill again!" while she grins delightfully.

I stared at wavering air in front of me, admiring their movements....Wait a moment, wavering air?!


I looked down and saw the cause of it, my gloves were on fire. Quickly putting them out, I look around to find the culprit.


A dude sitting a couple seats down was snicking into his hands. Narrowing my eyes, I took off my now burned gloves, and walked towards him.


"Were you the one who set my gloves on fire?"


The dude smirked and leaned back in his chair.


"Yea, whatca gonna do about it? *coughEmoLosercough*"


His group of "friends" or should I call them followers? snickered loudly.


"This"


I calmly raised my right hand and grabbed his face tightly for a good 10 seconds, making sure he couldn't escape.


Letting go, I smirked at his now very bruised face. There was a black hand print on his face now, and his cocky attitude was nowhere to be seen. The fearful look on his face made me very satisfied.


"People wear gloves for a reason you know" I said as I walked back to my seat.

Feeling a strange sensation of the pain easing away, Baron was touched his cheek. The swollen bruise was completely healed and it didn't hurt when he pressed his skin.


"Wow...that's impressive!" Baron thanked Mari, "So how old are you? You've got quite the technique there."


All of a sudden, the atmosphere of the classroom got much darker. Students were whispering and mumbling to each other, most of them looking towards the back of the room.


Puzzled, Baron followed the stares of his classmates to see the lad he had talked to back in the library.


"Hey..I know that guy." He lowered his voice, just in case he received attention he didn't want.

Mei Jun followed Baron's gaze and noticed the guy that he met in the halls. Then he noticed students staring at him and another guy who had a humongous bruise on his face. Call him crazy, but Mei Jun thinks that the bruise looked awfully similar to the one that Baron had. He quietly replied, "I met him in the halls when I was going to the dorms... He... was in a shark's mouth."

Ryota sat in his seat with an expressionless mask, but inside he was still quite happy about the guy's face. Reaching into his pocket, he took out his extra pair of gloves and put them on.


Idiotic human......At least he helped me release some of my stress......


Suddenly Ryota realized that the students were whispering, which made him annoyed.


I can hear you all, you know ==


He closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose. Sighing, he glared around the room. Noticing the nice guy he accidentally hurt earlier, a slightly guilty expression appeared on his face. Ryota stared for a bit, noticing that the bruise was gone.


Someone has a healing ability huh.....


He shook his head,


I need to silence these annoying gossipers


Ryota continued to glare at his classmates till most of them shut up.


Of course there were always the few that still dared to gossip, but he simply just didn't care. There was also the sound of the idiotic male's gasping of pain which he kinda enjoyed.


Am I an sadist?.....Totally...


Smirking slightly before placing his emotionless mask back on, Ryota turned and stared out the window again.

"Wow...that's impressive!" Baron said. Mari felt her ears became a bit hotter than usual.


"Oh dear, why am I suddenly feeling cold?" as she frowns. Nobody had praise her healing powers before. But Mari scrunches her eyebrows, she worries if she did the right thing. The young lady's parent dislike when Mari uses her power in front of a public. The young man's expression changes as he looks towards a teenager dressed very heavily.


"Hey...I know that guy." That guy? Mari looks at the heavily dressed and noticed that he was in a very grumpy mood. She scans around the room and notices the classroom's atmosphere was completely different now.


Mei Jun quietly replies back to Baron, "I met him in the halls when I was going to the dorms...he...was in a shark's mouth." Shark mouth? Mari wonders if the shark she saw wiggling down to the boy's dorm was what Mei Jun was talking about. Lady Sonnenschein quickly became curious about why the shark was carrying a human to the boy's dorm room. Mari had a sudden urge to ask Mei Jun more about this shark but she felt it would be awfully rude of her to interrupt his conversation with the guy in the headphones.


"Hm...I will not ask him next time then." One thing caught Mari's mind as she saw a hand-printed bruise on a student's face. "It's different from Mr. Nicey-nice's bruise." Could be the cause of the bruises be here?

Finally noticing that one of the students had an odd hand shaped bruise, something clicked in his mind.


The lad seemed to have the opposite ability as Mari.


Baron stared back at the boy as he sat back down in his seat and looked towards the window.


"I met him in the halls when I was going to the dorms...he...was in a shark's mouth."


Baron turned his head, facing Mei Jun and Mari again. "Do you mean that shark I saw back in the infirmary?"

Mari turns back to the young man with the headphones and replies, "I didn't see a shark frantically wiggling towards the boy's dorm too. Is there disconnection between those two?" Why would the heavily dressed man be inside a shark's mouth?

 

[Dawnsx]

Mei Jun replied, "I'm not really sure... But the shark spat the guy out after it took me and him to the dorms... It said something about men being stupid..."

"It talked?!" Baron exclaimed as a loud exploding *BOOM* was heard throughout the academy.


" Oh, late bell. I guess the both of you should find a seat before the teacher arrives."

Mei Jun jolted when an explosion sounded.


"Oh, late bell. I guess the both of you should find a seat before the teacher arrives."


Late bell?!


God, it's only been a couple of hours in this academy, and he already received two heart attacks. Pretty soon, he'll be joining Chun in the spirit world. Sighing a little, he turned to Mari with a tired smile. "Ms. Sonennschien, would you like to sit next to me?"

*BOOM* Mari jolts as the sound echo around the classroom. "Such an boring noise." she thought.


"Oh, late bell. I guess the both you should find a seat before the teacher arrives." the young man says. A late bell? Is this what a school bells would sound like in schools? Mari grimace at the fact that she would be hearing this sound for the rest of the school semester. "Such a beautiful sounding school bell." she mutters under her breath.


"Ms. Sonnenschein, would you like to sit next to me?" Lady Sonnenschein looks at Mei Jun and smiles cheerfully, "No! I don't want to sit next to you Mr. Jun. No thank you." She appreciated the kindness Mei Jun has shown her and therefore consider him as a gentleman. Mari turns to the teenager with the headphones and playfully asks, "Could you not tell me your name please? Oh, I hope you get bruise 10,000 millions all over again!~"

A dumbfounded look spread across Baron's face when Mari had said she hoped he would get bruised ten thousand million times again.


Thinking back to how her emotions and actions didn't match her words as well as how Mei Jun interpreted Mari's exclamations, Baron nodded.


"Yeah...uh, thanks for healing me, Mari. You can call me Baron."

Looking around the room, he found that most seats were already occupied, so he took a seat behind Baron. At the same time, an unruly, unkept, and lazy looking man walked in. He briefly introduced himself as the teacher and took a seat behind the his desk.

"Yeah...uh, thanks for healing me, Mari. You can call me Baron."


She claps her hands together, "Ah, then I will not call you Mr. Baron then! I despair that we won't be "friends" in the near future." Mari glances at Mr. Jun and saw he was already seated. She quickly bids Baron goodbye and quickly walks to the seat next to Mei Jun.

 

[Sonatina]

Pillow awoke from its beautiful sleep, that was once again interrupted.


"For all the years I've been here...I still can't sleep through that late bell," Pillow huffed.


Pillow glanced around the room as a lazy and messy man walked in and introduced himself.


"Of all creatures, the teacher just had to be a male human," Pillow complained softly.


The teacher started taking the attendance and, like every other teacher, stared at the paper in confusion until he called out, "Is......Pillow here?"


Pillow replied with a "present" and continued to nap despite being stared at my most of it's classmates.

Is the same shark pillow I was talking to?


Remembering the events, Ryota felt a small blush creep up his cheeks.


A slight pout graced his lips as he turned and looked out the window once more, ignoring the lazy teacher.

The teacher continued to take attendance, when someone raised a hand. Mei Jun glanced over and saw that it's the guy with the huge bruise on his face. Not even waiting for the teacher to acknowledge his raised hand, he said, "Mr. Todo! That guy sitting behind me did this-" he motioned to his face, "-to my beautiful face! I demand that he is punished!"


Mr. Todo looked down at his attendance sheet. "Let's see... Ryota, is it? Did you do that to his 'beautiful face'?"

Let me guess, the lazy teacher is going to punish me or whatever


I don't really care either way, this class is so boring.
